Pitch Count Inaccuracy using Quick Counts

Can't find much on this issue other than one other post about it. Here is what that person wrote which is exactly the problem that happens to me.

"The Pitch count using quick counts is not accurate. It does not properly count the last pitch of an AB. Example: pitcher throws 3 pitches to first batter, next pitch is a single. Pitch count goes to 4 while ball is in play. During cut scene between batters pitch count changes back to 3. Next batter quick count is 1-1, pitch count shows 5 when it should be 6. Happens with every batter so by end of game count is way off."

Anyone else experience this or have a fix?

It's not a glitch, they did that on purpose. I can't remember the reasoning behind it so maybe someone else can explain it. But there's a reason why they subtract a pitch at the end of every at bat.

To keep team pitch counts per game as accurate as possible to real life.
