    Dynamic Difficulty in 2016

Is anyone else using Dynamic Difficulty this year, I am currently playing 16 and two things I have noticed right off the bat is the pitcher throws too many strikes which in turn you'll see or hear the announcer in the third inning say this is the cpu pitcher first ball called lol, I also get that I am suppose to take pitches but I am pretty good and liked DD in 15. Cpu pitchers are having number like 18 strikes and 1 ball and weird things like that, has anyone else seen this in 16 yet?

It doesn't carry over from 15 - if you just got 16 you start again on Rookie. That's why it's throwing so many strikes. Was the same way from 14 to 15.

Once you promote again you should start seeing it make you chase more.

I agree but the cpu throws too many first pitch strikes.

The day one patch has already been applied, are you talking about a new patch?

In the strategy guide in 15' it tells you what level of pitches to expect when you use dynamic difficulty , i.e.: the pluses you get on each difficulty, 1+ fast balls, 2+ fastballs and changes , 3+ breaking ball, etc..

Is there a slider for pitcher control this year? I always bump that down a notch or two if the CPU dominates the strike zone.

I don't know if you guys saw this in the stream or not. But now we can also turn off the Notifications for Dynamic Difficulty. There were setting for it to show only when you advance and another one.

So I would assume if you turn the slider to zero, you no longer advance so we would no longer see the bar at the top of the screen every half inning?

Yup saw all that but this year it seems much easier on the hitting side because of the pitches being strikes 3/4 of the time, they hardly throw balls so I'm wondering should I mess with the sliders or let it balance itself out.

This is just based on last year, but when you first start dd, the pitchers throw more strikes because you are on an easier difficulty. Once you level up to harder difficulties, the pitchers throw more realistically. I assume it'll be the same with 16
