CPU Offensive Struggles IN OFFLINE FRANCHISE

When playing an offline franchise the cpu offense struggles to score no matter what difficulty level I use for pitching.
I currently am using dynamic difficulty locked in at all star+ and after 8 or 9 games in the cpu teams seem to decrease in hitting. I’ve tried quick count on and off and I get the same results.
    I only use classic pitching.
    Does anyone else experience this?
    And has anyone solved it?
    Thanks

Legend+ with CPU power, contact & timing on 10 killer. It’s not rocket science.
    Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

Classic pitching on legend, and bump up the cpu hitting sliders if you want, and you'll see a huge difference.

Some slider threads on this forum should help if you want to check those out, too.

So you’ve tried pitching on Legend and the CPU can’t score? That’s a long ways from All Star+.

You should first disable dynamic difficulty and up the level yourself until it’s challenging. If you’ve made it to Legend and it’s still too easy there are sliders to further increase difficulty.

Playing April games? If so....keep playing....games in early season are more low-scoring.

By time you play your full 162 game season; you will see it change. Patience, patience, patience.
Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.

For those that still aren't happy and continue to try different slider combinations....

Try default AS or default HOF.
            Classic pitching
            Directional hitting
            Clean screen - no ballmarker

This got me close to where i wanted to be, but then I tried something I thought either i would hate or wouldn't work, and I was wrong on both counts.

Auto field, auto throw AND let the AI call your pitches...That 3rd piece was the key for me.

If you are a Show "expert", it becomes rather easy to "out think" the AI batters and rack up K's and low run totals.

Letting the AI call your pitches adds an incredible layer of sim, and the AI has become much more deadly on offense.

I know it feels like you have less input into the game, but you are still batting, and you are still choosing how much effort to put into a pitch.

I much prefer 20 (by a ton), but this set up right here at least made 23 playable to me....I desperately want to play with those 1984 rosters.
