MLB 12 The Show Game Update 1.21 Arrives, Details Included - Post Your Impressions

^^make sure you save your settings after you turn Auto-Save off, or it will revert to the previous everytime you load your RTTS.

Impressions of 1.21 update, after 3 games played and simming without saving:

- No freezing or boxscore/schedule problems whatsoever! Then again, I didn't have any issues with any of the previous patches

- There is the minor thing of the ticker showing Interleague results, followed by AL and NL results too. Not sure if it was already present before 1.21.

- Since I'm in the middle of an Interleague series, I can't check for the decimals in the league leaders stats, as the don't show during interleague.

- Luis Marte, who was basically lights out for me, has given up the lead and got the loss in 2 straight appearances (in the same week)! Ok, that one is purely coincidental, but still LOL.

love this game a lot but when i downloaded the update, everything went downhill and now i am mad at it

I have ZERO offense since the update. i have played three games and been shut out in every one. I have not made contact with the ball even though i get "perfect" timing (i use timing hitting). I estimate that i am 0-20 on "perfect" swings. my hits in the 3 games are 2, 1, and 4.

I used to have grew games, 4-3, 5-6 2-1. now i can't score a flippin run!

There wasn't one line of code changed in the hitting portion of the game. None at all.

I saw one odd thing for the first time, the previous start stats for my pitcher was all zeros when game started. I mean, the announcer said something like here are the stats for his last start and up popped the zeros. I've played over 90 games in my Season and that was the first time I've seen it happen.

Okay, I loaded the new patch 1.21, I played my RTTS from late 2016 to the beginning of 2017 season, I have still had no problems with any of the patches at all, sorry to those that have had problems. So far so good
I love this game it's awesome !

Note: I only play RTTS and season

I'm pretty sure the patch doesn't affect gameplay.

Anyway, I have the 1.16 patch. I still haven't started my season because I'm a perfectionist, & I want the best OSFM Opening Day rosters! Lol. I'm actually still playing Spring Training with 2 games to go. Seeing as I mostly see good impressions, I'll most likely download the new patch. It's actually scary looking at the bugs thread 'cuz I don't wanna experience them, so I'll probably stay away from those threads like you guys. Lol.

In playing a diamond dynasty game I noticed that when my opponent tried to throw me out on a single to RF, the 1Bman was twice pulled off the bag and my batter/runner was safe at 1st.
