What Makes The Game

Im gonna lay down a couple ground rules that make a true football game.

Simplicity- Be original, stick to the game of football.

Spirit- Promote football the proper way, let us feel the football spirit from how players react in the game to minimizing the ads

Support- Let the fans know that you're behind them, respond to their ideas and leave feedback


Honor- Show that you're representing the NFL, not that you don't give a damn and collecting your money

Control- Give us the chance to fix the game how ever we want from sliders to making a team like we never had before

Realism- Add every aspect from great animations to weather conditions, progressive lighting etc...

Presentation- Make the game a true to life simulation of the NFL from broadcast styling, announcers, and even theme music etc..

Showcase - Honor the NFL well enough to apply all equipment from facemask,helmet,jersey, down to the sock (joking about the sock) in the game. Have all new appearel.

This is what makes the game for me.

whats missing from madden other than the biggggggggg issue(physics) is the team identities........

when i play the packers its disappointing to see c. matthews in coverage, same for the steelers and harrison, and many others.....they do it a few times in an exotic package but they rush mostly...

to really increase immersion each team needs a fleshed out playbook for the personnel it has, now 20 yrs in franchise could present some problems but its lesser of an evil compared to the present roster not playing according to its strenghts.

madden need to make us feel real life issues with ouR teams, ex. my colts(knock on wood) should win today and make the playoffs, however the 2 possible match ups have great run games i am worried if we can recapture that magic from 06 and stop the run in the playoffs.

this is not an issue for me in madden AT ALL i can lead the league in rush D with easE on any difficulty most seasons,this fact kills immersion, becuase i dont need to draft a killer DT or sacrifice offense to sign some big time LB.....

if madden cant capture NFL football issues than it cant represent NFL football.... becuase i could play blitz, or backyard football..... if all i wanted was FOOTBALL
