We take apart the four vees we don’t salvage for 1.15 mill, no raiding the estate though.

Beginning of Contract #69:

June 22, 3030 – Arriving at the quiet non-border FWL world of Tania Borealis and for the FS! Arriving is an Avenger, Leopard CV and a Union for our latest company for it’s shakedown mission is Tekau mā Waru! No one bats an eye at us.

June 29, 3030 – After a week we land and begin to unload and look around. We run into a company of mechs attacking us at the DropPort and they are the ones we expect so they’re trying flip the script by attacking us in places we won’t know rather than where they do.

Set-up – we win 10-7!!! Back to winning maybe? I set up my Banshee in the south flank of our central area. They set up on the bottom of the south flank.

Turn 1 – We keep init 9-5. Wow! I charge 5. I need that Wolverine and Archer legged. They move their Urbie first. I take the bait and base it with my Awesome and Hopper too. Our Banshee bases their Whitworth. Our BM bases their Archer behind a building and Catapult bases their Merlin behind the building too. Their Stalker bases my Wolfhound. I base it with my TDR’s on it’s flank. Their Awesome moves 3. Our Stalker bases it. Our Charger bases their Wolverine and Stalker, but not pointed at the Awesome. Our CRD bases their Wolverine too again not pointed well though. Our Wolverine bases their Awesome and our Vulcan their Stalker. Weapons – I fire at their Awesome if they can see it they attack it. Our Charger’s AC20 destroys their Urbie’s CT; dead mech. First kill!!! Our Wolverine hit the gyro on their Awesome one, it falls as does their JM. Melee! Our Stalker destroys the CT on their Awesome, dead and the Wolverine it’s Head, doubly dead. We drop their Merlin, Locust, Whitworth, Stalker and Wolverine. No legs though.

Turn 2 – We lose init by one 7-8. They don’t stand their JM. They move their Archer my BM follows. Our Cat and Wolverine base it too. Our Stalker bases their Wasp, they don’t rise their Merlin or Whitworth. They rise their Stalker! I base it with my TDR in the rear and then they spin their Wolverine but don’t rise it. I base it with many hoping for a leg on the ground. Their Locust rises and ran behind a building. Our Vulcan bases their Wasp too. Weapons fire I unload everything on their Stalker with the ammo in the arms, very light upable. Our Charger destroys the Stalker’s RL, our Awesome it’s LL!!! Our CRD hits it’s engine twice and ammo too, boom, dead Stalker! Our Wolverine hit their JM’s RT ammo, boom, dead mech. Wow that was fast. Melee? Can we leg their Archer or the downed Wolverine to take anything away? Our TDR destroys the LT of their Wolverine. Our Stalker the left side of their Wasp. Our CRD destroys the LL of their Wolverine. Our Cat their Archer’s LL, so we legged it!

They flee from their 4 destroyed and three legged mechs, we took out or legged 7 mechs!

Beginning of Contract #70:

July 22, 3030 - Arriving at the CC world Gei-Fu for the extract raid for prisoners of war is Nove, Unsprezece, Kumi na Tano and our infantry and then the big navy for the FS. Here at the Zenith point is the new border of the CC and the FS. Here are an Invader JumpShip with all three rings locked in. They have a pair of Achilles and then...a Venegance...wow nasty. The FS Suns intel here had a Leoaprd and nothing at the Nadir one to smash them, they were wrong.

Here is what they have – 44 fighters, 4 Aquarius and 2 Achilles. We kill 24 fighters, 2 Aqaurius the two Achilles and the Vengeance moves back, i need it. I chase it full force. Can i take it down? I order all forces to engage. They suicide attack us with 4 fighters lost. We lose more, but we keep it up. I need an 8 to take it out and i toss a 8 even, done! We took it out! Can we salvage the 2 Achilles? Or it? I toss a 5, 6 and 8 so nope....insert sad face there. They jump out as we approach.

– We lost 20 fighters and 2 Aquarius, 10 we cannot salvage for lost 25.6 mill and then we can salvage the 10 lost for 7.65 mill. We lost one Aquarius for for 14,221,500. We can salvage 14 of theirs for 15 mill even and then an Aquarius for 850k.

We salvaged at the JumpPoint 6 mill.

July 27, 3030 - Since the trap is at the JumpPoint, we have nothing here taking us at Gei-Fu proper.

We land at the military prison, and unload, and head to them! We have vees for our infantry we rented behind us for the prisoners.

Set-up – We lose 6-7 – close! We set up in the top of their south flank and then top most for their stuff on the top flanks

Turn 1 – We lose not close 8-4. Half of their roll! I charge 5. They flank us with their Locusts, and Wasps. I base their Wasp with our Spider and Jenner and Hermes II 2M. I fire 18 at their BM and 18 at their Charger. Nove’s Orion hits the ammo in their Charger’s RT, boom, dead mech!! Kumi na Tano’s Awesome destroys their BM’s LA. It’s Archer the RL. Then it’s Grasshopper the RA. Legged! It falls, nothing else does. Melee? Our Hermes II legs their Wasp’s RL.

Turn 2 – We lose init much closer 11-9. We charge 5 where possible. They charge thier JagerMech in to stop us and I base it with four Assaults. Their Victor leaps and bases my rear on my BM. Thier Cyclops it’s flank. They didn’t eject their legged mechs, by the by. I base thier Locusts that are in our rear arc with my lights and scouts. They base our scouts with thiers, and their PXh too on our flank. We base their Victor and Cyclops with our smash stuff 3 each. Weapons fire!!! I spend 18 each at thier Awesome and Cataphract 2X. Thier Hunch’s AC20 decaptited our TDR in Unsprezece. Uh oh. Dead mech!!! Unsprezece’s Catapult desttroys their Awesome’s CT. Ouch. Dead mech!! Kumi na Tano’s Stalker hits the ammo in thier CTF’s RT, dead mech for it. Ouch, both mechs down. Melee? We leg thier JM’s RL. We also leg another light the Locust 1L. We drop thier Victor.

Turn 3 – We win init 7-3. Yay! They don’t eject anything. They rise their Victor, we stay based with it. They charge us with thier Rifleman, Merlin. We base them with what was based with their JM and then thier Cyclops too. Their Phoenix Hawk bases our flank on my Orion, and then I base it with three heavies in fire support and a Stalker too. They base our Stalker with their Cyclops and then Goliath too. We base thier Jav and Locust with good stuff lights and mediums. Then they hop thier Hopper away, no kicks. Weapons fire!!! I fire 12 each at their Victor, Cyclops and Grassshopper trying for a weapons kill instead. Our Charger in Unprezece destroys the Head of thier Victor, and then we also destory it’s RL and LL wounded too, it survives. Nove’s Hunchback hits the ammo in thier Cyclops, boom!!! We also legged it. They legged our BM and destrorys it’s LA too . Kumi na Tano’s Awesome sheers off their Hopper’s RL. It’s on the ground. We also destory it’s RA and LA. Legged! Got it!!! Melee? We leg their Jav, Locust and PXH and Rifleman too..

Beginning of Contract #71:

June 07, 3030 – Heading on a raid by the CC on the FS world is Oitavo, Shoondzah and Sip-Sam at the planet of Sarmaza on the border just taken from them just like our raid on Gan Singh earlier. We are here to blow them down the beach and help hurt their rebuilding and such. This is both a smash and grab both. We arrive at the Nadir JumpPoint, no issues.

June 12, 3030 – We land on Sarmaza and find no major landing issues. They have a battalion of mechs here to smash and then raid and blow up the base. We need to maximize the damage.

Set-Up – We lose 10-2. Ouch. We set up our three companies at the top of the south flank and then they in a giant circle.

Turn 1 – We lose init too closer 8-5. I charge five they are flanking us with their Commandos and Wolfhounds. I base the closest Wolfhound with a Spider and our Wolfhound too. They base my Spider with a Locust. Weapons fire! I fire 18 at their Longbow and Stalker. I hope to take them down with legs and such but not enough to blow them up!!! Our CRD in Oitavo destroys the Longbow in it’s RT by hitting ammo, boom, dead mech. We also double legged it too. That’s Ian’s 4th kill! Sip-Sam’s Catapult hits the ammo in the Stalker’s LA, dead mech!!! Overkill city! We also legged it. Melee? We wound their Wolfhound and then they hit our Spider too twice.

Turn 2 – We lose init this round as well but a more respectable 8-7. Nice! We charge 5. They charge with their stuff, and we base their Orion with a Banshee and BM. Then their Victor leaps behind our line at our BM’s flank, I base it with four assaults. Their Zeus charges us and bases our TDR so we base it back with 2 Archers and a Catapult leapt to it’s flank. Their Warhammer bases us, so we base it with an Awesome, Longbow and both Grasshoppers. We base their wounded Wolfhound with the same three and then they move their flanks to our rear arc. Our other Spider bases their Commando and our Wolverine too. They push flanks like Stinger and FS and Wasp too. I fire 18 each again at their Orion and Victor 9B. Their Victor hit’s the RL on Sip-Sam’s Charger and destroyed it with the AC20. Shoondzah’s Warhammer 6D hits the ammo in their Victor, exploded! We also destroyed it’s H with an AC20 and then other limbs, dead pilot. Oitavo’s BM hits the ammo in their Orion, boom, dead mech. Wow we’ve blown up four mechs. That’s Agata’s 4th kill. Melee? Our Catapult legs their Zeus! Our Wolfhound legs theirs. Our Hopper legs their Warhammer! Three legs, nice! Dropping to the ground is our Archer 2R in Shoondzah.

They have left two Assaults. They push.

Turn 3 – We win, yay! 11-10 close, but I’ll take it. I eject our Charger. They backup their Archer, I cannot leg it with bases. I do base their CRD with three assaults and a TDR. We base their other Wolfhound with a Wolverine 6M and a Vulcan. We base their Banshee and Rifleman with three fire support mechs each, all heavy and assault. Our lights base their Commando. Weapons fire! I send 12 each at their Banshee, Archer and Goliath. Oitavo’s Sunand Joshi destroys their Archer’s ammo, boom, dead mech that’s Sunand Joshi’s 4th kill. We also legged it too. Our Catapult in Shoondzah’s H is destroyed, dead mech and pilot. Their Goliath stands. Their Banshee 3E lost a LA to Sip-Sam’s TDR and then it’s LT to it’s Grasshopper. It falls. Melee!!! We leg their Crusader with our BM. Our Wolfhound legs their Commando and then blows it up when a crit in the RT goes up, dead mech. We destroy their Banshee’s RA and RT! No legs though. It walks away. Then we leg their Rifleman’s LL! it’s down.

They eject their 5 legged mechs, and we took out or legged 11 mechs!!! They flee and we capture the base.

July 01, 3030 – Contracts?!!??!?!??

I get 4. They are:

#1. The CC want us to Obj Raid the FS newly christened border world of Truth one jump from Sarmaxa also captured by them they want us to raid. We could be here on July 6 if we sent the Battalions in Sarmaxa.
#2. The Lyrans want us to 3-month security their planet of Lamon which is three jumps away for helping, we could be there on July 12. They’d need a mech and vee company.
#3. The CC want us again to Extract Raid all of the military supplies from the Compact world of Taga’s HQ. We’d need just a company and could send in Khamésh or Deitch on July 9.
#4. The Lyrans also want us to O Raid the FWL world of Bedeque a few jumps from the border and then we could be there on Aug 2, and I would just need a company here too.

I take them all!!!

Negotiations with CC for #1 Deal: 260 points. I pull 50 for full salvage they offer a length of 3 months I drop to one, 10. July 6, 3030 – Our battalion and Overlord, Avenger and Leopard CV arrive at the Nadir JumpPoint of the new border world of Truth and there are no folks here that intercede.

July 11, 3030 – We land at Truth and then scout with our 12 fighters and then local conventional ones attack and some VTOLs too so we divert and smash them good.

We land at the Davion HQ and they unfurl the expected Mech Battalion!

Set-up – We lose close and realistically 9-7. I set up at the top again. They set at the top around us in a giant circle.

Turn 1 – I lose again 10-8 again by 2. I move 5. They flank us with their Locusts and Wolfhound, PXH and I base their Wolfhound with my 2 Spiders and a Vulcan too. They base my Vulcan with a pair of Commandos. Our 2 Jav 10Fs and another Vulcan base their PXH. They move in their other Lights. Weapons – I fire 18 each at their BM and Banshee! Sip-Sam’s Awesome legged their heavily armored Banshee’s LL. We also destroyed both arms. Shoondzah’s Warhammer’s 6D PPc heads their BM! Dead mech and person, We also destroy its entire left side. Melee? We wound and drop their Wolfhound but their PXH stands and was hit. We killed their CO!!

Turn 2 – We still lose by 1 3-2. Ouch. Rough. I charge five, their Wolfhound stands and then I stay near it, and then the same stuff near their PXH. Their lights are in my rear arcs. Our Banshee bases their Stalker that moves out and then two more assaults smashes join it. Their Cataphract bases our Banshee’s flank. Then we base it back with four smash units. They base our Banshee’s other flank with their MAD. Then their Goliath and Striker it’s front. We base their Locust with a pair of Wolverines. Weapons fire - I focus 18 each on their Stalker and nothing else, TDR? Zeus? Striker? I don’t want to overkill, but maybe that TDR will survive so I do it. Oitavo’s TDR hits the ammo on their Stalker, boom, dead mech!!! Sip-Sam’s Catapult hits the ammo on their TDR and boom, it explodes. Dead mech! Then our Banshee falls. Melee! They kick and destroy our Banshee’s RL and RA. Our Spider legs their Wolfhound! Our Vulcan legs their PXH after getting a limb blown off, on the ground but can be reattached. We drop their Cataphract but don’t leg it. We hurt their Locust but it stands.

Turn 3 - We lose init again 8-5. Hmmm….not great. I eject my Banshee. They don’t their legged stuff. We base where we can and cannot move 5. We base their Goliath with 4 units and they base our BM on it with a leapt Catapult in our rear of our BM behind our lines. I base it with 2 Awesomes and a Longbow and Archer, I need to leg it. Their two Commandos base our rear and flank of our TBT. We base their TBT with two Assaults and a TDR. Their Whitworth leaps away, no kicks. We base their Marauder in front with an Atlas in Sip-Sam and Charger and TDR and Guillotine leaps to its rear. Their Cataphract rises and stays in that hex. Weapons fire! I fire 12 each at their Goliath, Zeus and Striker. Their Goliath survives. Sip-Sam’s Charger hit the ammo on their Zeus – boom, dead mech!!! Shoondzah’s Warhammer legs their Striker. We also destroy its LA and LT too. Melee? Our Atlas legs their Marauder, and then a Longbow legs their Catapult and BM legs their Cataphract.

They eject and we blew up three, and then legged 7!

Beginning of Contract #73:

July 12, 3030 - 10th Vee Kappa and 19th Mech Tasnevets arrive at the Lyran world of Lamon a few jumps inside the border for a 3-month security deal. The contract begins and will end on October 12, 3030.

July 17 – We set up at their home captial and HQ and begin patrols with one each lance of vees and mechs too.

Aug 2, 3030 - We find a weird signal and send out to investigate. We are told by an informant that an entire mixed battalions of one company each of vees, mechs and infantry is there as a trap to smash us, so we pull all of our forces to smash them good.

We arrive, and then scout with fighters and yes, they are as expected.

Love that Condor, Hunter and Brutus and then even the SturmFuer is great weapons but bad ammo. They have another 2 AC20s in the VL.

They are regular and then they in the middle, we are on a communications dish map.

This is their and our beloved scout vee the Condor Heavy Hover Scout 50 tonner. They have 8/12 movement, 96 points of armor, an AC5, 2 ML, and MG for shooting up stuff and then ours is the Liao variant with 4 ML which I prefer. It’s a durable scout with better armor at 136.

Set-up – We win well 10-6 by 4. I set up on the southern top flank and then vees under us too. They set up around the building in the middle.

Turn 1 – We lose init unfortunately, but closer 8-6. We charge 5 where possible, although their Puma heads in front of our Charger which bases it but moves just 4. I also base it with our Banshee and BM. Their Victor leaps to our BM’s flank, our Orion bases it. Our Stalker and Awesome base it too. None move 5 though and are easy to it. They flank us with their Condor, Harasser and Stinger too. I base their Vulcan with our Jav and Wolverine. Weapons fire! I fire mechs at their Atlas and vees at their SF. Our Archer destroys the Atlas’s LA. It falls. Our Manticore destroys the SF’s front side it’s down! Melee? Our BM destroys their Puma’s left side. Down vee!!! We drop their Victor and Vulcan no jumping away but their Atlas stands.

Turn 2 – We again lose much larger 9-8, closer by one. They stand their Victor and we chase it, and then their Vulcan and base each with the same and our Grasshopper too on their Vulcan,. Their JagerMech charges us. Their Catapult is too far away, no legging it. Our Wolfhound bases their Trebuchet’s rear. Our three assault smash stuff base their JM on their Hunter. We base their Brutus with our Archer and CRD and if we both kick the side, that would drop it. Weapons fire! I fire mechs at their Atlas again and 6 vees each at their Schrek and Brutus. Our Schrek’s front is destroyed by their VL. Their Schrek and Brutus are savaged but around. Our Orion destroys their Atlas’s LL, and the RL and RA destroyed too. Double legged!!! Melee? Our Archer destroys their Brutus’s front. Our Hopper legs their Vulcan!!! Our Banshee legs their JagerMech and our Orion their Victor!!! Yay!

We capture them and they eject from their 4 legged mechs and flee.

Beginning of Contract #74:

July 09, 3030 – Deitch Company arrives at the St. Ives Compact world of Taga to Extract Raid all of the military stuff there for rebuilding their war effort. We get no pushback from them.

July 14, 3030 – We arrive at the planet, ditto. We land and scout around to get a good fighter scouting here to make sure what is happening. There were supposed to be a Mech company here guarding, of 12 mechs, but instead a reinforced company of 16.

Set-up – We win 10-7! I set up the top flank of the south centered on muh Atlas!!! They set up the BM decently close but the rest far away.

Turn 1 – We win 11-7. I charge 5 where possible. Our BM and Atlas base their Orion. Our Banshee their Vindicator after it jumps in front +1 to hit though. Our Cat bases it. Our Spider bases their MAD3L flank. They run their BM away. I fire at their BM!!! Our Catapult hits the ammo in the RT but nothing else destroyed. Our Banshee falls. Melee. We drop their Orion. The pilot blacked out when ejecting.

Turn 2 – We keep init 12-9. Our Wolfhound and Spider base their Jav. Our Banshee rises. Our Hopper bases their Jav. Our Stalker their QD bases. Their Orion doesn’t stand. Our BM bases their Locust. Our Catapult stays next to their Vindicator. Our Striker and Atlas base their Awesome. Hopefully we can leg the VND. Weapons fire! Awesome or Stalker 3H? I’m out of Awesomes, so that. I go overheat on their BJ missiles and such. They destroy the ammo on my Archer dead mech. Before it died it destroys their Awesome’s RT, RA on the ground. Our Wolfhound heads it, dead mech!! We drop their BJ and our Atlas fell, it’s melee time! Our BM legs their Locust 1L; our Hopper legs their Javelin, no leg on the VND. Our TDR destroys the RT on their Orion.

They eject from their two legged lights and leave us the battlefield with two major leaders gone.

Aug 08, 3030 – We arrive at their planet and scout them. The Lyrans want to raid them since there is nothing here industrially or militarily in order to force them to defend it more. We scout with fighters from our Leopard CV and Union and then force them into a killing zone.

Set-up – We win 8-6. I set up. They do so too.

Turn 1 – We edge them 7-6. I charge 5 where possible. They move their Hopper first and not towards us. Our Cat and CRD base their Charger. Who do I fire at? The Zeus or Hopper? The Zeus. Our Crockett hit the gyro and engine once each and our Charger the other gyro - destroyed. Our Awesome destroys it’s RT, RA on the ground and hit the engine and gyro once more each. Ditto our Wolverine, shut down. No falls by us. Melee! We kick down their Charger.

Turn 2 – We keep init 8-5. That’s our biggest win. Our Wolverine bases their Marauder’s flank. They don’t stand their Charger and turn it. Our PXh next to their MAD too. Our CRD bases their TBT. Their Wolverine retreats no kick kill. They leap their Hopper away, no legs there either. I keep my Cat next to their Charger. They leap their Catapult behind my line and my Hopper and Crockett base it. I fire at their Grasshopper in the woods if I can see it. it’s +5 to hit, so it’ll be hard to end. I go overheat on it. It took light damage and fell. Melee! Can I leg anything? Our Banshee punches and destroys their Catapult after hitting the RT ammo, boom! Our Wolverine legs their Marauder 3M’s RL!!! We savage their TBT and Charger neither legged. The TBT fell and we broke the Charger’s RT.

They have a destroyed assault and the other savaged and then a legged heavy, one destroyed and then the other on the ground. They eject the MAD and flee

Aug 01, 3030 – It’s time for some....contracts!!!

I get 4!!! They are:

#1. The FS wants us for an Obj. Raid on the Dracs on their Border in a system called Cyclene. They have here for defense a battalion and then they have in the skies 2 Achilles and Leopard CVs. If wait until my navy gets back here I could hit them on Sept 16, 3030.
#2. The Periphery nation of Outworlds Alliance wants us for a pirate attack for three months and three bands, just one mech company needed, and with a Command Circuit we could be there on August 12th.
#3. The FWL want us to O Raid the nearby LC world of Seginus far from the border we’d need a mech company and then arrive August 13.
#4. ComStar wants us to do a security for three months until real troops arrrive at their outpost on the FS world of Errai on the border with a few companies that make mechs and parts here. We’ll need a company each of mechs and vees. We’d be there for 3 months on August 20.

I take them all!!!!!

Negotiation with the FS
: We have 270 points. We pull 50 for Full Salvage, one month deal from 3 for 10 points, 25 each for Support and Battle Loss and x4 salary and we add 20 back. Beginning of Contract #76:

Sept, 18, 3030 – Our big navy arrives at the Nadir JumpPoint of Cyclene where the Draconis Combine is on the border with the FS for them. They have at the JumpPoint 2 CV and 2 Achilles and then 16 fighters and 4 Aquarius.

We smash them and fleeing are a Leopard CV. We took out the others and 11 fighters and all Aquarius. Can I salvage one? I toss a 9 for a Leopard CV yes and then 6 and 7 for the Achilles. Nope! I need 9 mill to salvage it. War Chest of 708,716,031

Battle Loss at Nadir JumpPoint – 7 million dammage, we lost 8 fighters, four can be salvaged for 2.95 mil. We lost four for 21,642,120. We lost and can salvage an Aquarius for 1 mill even. We can salvage two of theirs for 3.65 mill and then 6 of their fighters for 5.25 mill

We salvage here 3.5 mill

They jump-out. Heading to the planet is them from the Zenith point as well as two of each there and a battalion carrying 6 fighters Overlord and an Intruder too.

Sept 23, 3030 – We arrive at the planet! We destroy their Intruder and 14 fighters, 3 Achilles, 5 Aquarius and a Leopard CV!!! Can I capture any of them? I toss an 11, 7, 6, 5 and 9 so I added another Leopard CV and Intruder!!! I salvage them for 21 mill – ouch. I spend it and have left in my War Chest is 687,716,031.

Battle Loss at Cyclene – We lost here 8 mill! We lost 12 fighters, 6 salvaged for 4.9 mill and then the others costing 32,463,180. We salvage 12 of theirs for 8.9 mill. We can salvage two of their Aquarius for 2.8 mill.

We find here salvaged 4 mill.

Set-up – We lose 10-5. Ouch half theirs. I set up in the top most flank first. They set up tops of the top flank.

Turn 1 – We lose init 6-5. Close! We charge 5, they begin to flank us with Jenners, and Locust and FS too and randomly that jumpjet-less PXH is too and Assassin. Our two Spiders base their Jenner 7F. We send out our 18 mechs at their BM and Longbow in longer range. Sip-Sam’s Charger hit the ammo in their BM, boom, dead mech!!! Shoondzah’s Warhammer legs their Longbow’s RL and then we destroy it’s RA, RT and LA too. Legged!!! Melee we drop their Jenner.

Turn 2 – They keep init 8-7, again close! We charge 5! They move their TBolt in front of my assaults just 4 away, I base it with an Atlas, BM and Banshee. They don’t eject their Longbow, they rise their Jenner and then I keep based with my 2 Spiders. They move to our rear with the other flankers. I base their Wasp 1K with our Javelin and Wolfhound. Their Dragon bases the flank of my Awesome from Sip-Sam and then the Victor leaps next to it the other flank. Then the Striker it’s front. Their Archer is based by my two Chargers that moved 6 and Oitavo’s TDR too. They base our Catapult rear in Shoondzah with their Dragon. Weapons fire – I send 18 each at their Stalker and Victor to take them out. Their Dragon hits the weak rear armor and blows up our Catapult. Ouch! Oitavo’s TDR hit the ammo in their Stalker – boom, dead mech!!! Sip-Sam’s Catapult hit the ammo in their Victor boom, dead mech!!! Melee! They destroy our Awesome’s RL in Sip-Sam. Our Banshee legs their TDR’s RL!!! Our TDR legs their Archer!!!! We savage and drop their Wasp and Jenner

Turn 3 – We grab init 5-2. Okay. They don’t eject their TBolt or Archer. They stand their Jenner and run, based by our Spiders too, and then their Wasp which we hit in each leg with our Wolfhound and Jav 10F. I eject my Awesome. Their Hopper hops away into woods, cannot be based by our heavy stuff, and my scouts have mostly moved – we base it with a Griffin and two Wolverines, I’ll need to get the mech’s leg blow off and hit all in one spot by the three. We base their Marauder and Rifleman each with three smash like Guillotines or assaults. Weapons fire is here! I send 12 each at their Striker, Grasshopper and Goliath. Shoondzah’s Warhammer destroys the ammo in their Striker, boom, dead mech! Oitavo’s Guillotine destroys their Goliath’s RT, normally that would be okay, but in a quad it double legs it. We also destroy other legs too. Their Grasshopper in woods and +4 to hit is fine and drops and lost an RA. Can I leg it? Melee! I leg the Wasp 1K with our Wolfhound and hten Jenner with a Spider. We destroy the Hopper’s RT too. Nothing else though. It survives. We drop their MAD and leg their Rifleman.

They eject and flee!!!!!!

Our palindrome contract begins!!

Aug 12, 3030 – Twintig and a Leopard CV and Achilles on an Invader arrive at the 1st Pirate deal for the Outwards Alliance in the periphery. Our contract begins and ends on Nov 12. Then we’ll get back on Nov 24. This is our latest company. We arrive at the Nadir JumpPoint here.

We unload, scan and see here another Invader that’s with two open rings an Avenger and Leopard and an open DropRing. They unload too and then we engage in battle. We destroy the Avenger and 4 fighters, and then the Leopard CV is fine. They load up and jump out! Can I salvage the Avenger? I toss a 7 so nope.

August 21, 3030 – We raid from their supplies 900k! Yay! We spend a few days relaxing, rearmoring and armoring and salvaging and head back out after blowing up their stuff.

August 30, 3030 – We arrive in their 2nd system Zenith JumpPoint for the Outworlds Alliance deal!

Here they have an Invader with a Union, Leopard CV and Avenger. They are unloading a few hours here already. The Union is on the route to the planet. They dispatch it’s 2 fighters to head to us. They have 8 fighters to our 10, and we destroy their Avenger and Leopard CV as it tries to flee. And 6 of their fighters too. They haven’t recharged their JumpShip, the Invader so we capture it! Can we salvage their Leopard CV or Avenger? I toss a 3 and 5, nope.

Turn 2 – We lose init 9-6. They don’t eject their Zeus. They backup their good JM. Our Banshee and Archer base their Wolfhound. Our Wolfhound and BM their Jav 10F. They backup their Catapult and our PXH bases their Jav 10F too. Our Orion and Awesome are next to their Wolverine. Our Vulcan next to their Locust and JM too. I fire at their Catapult since I legged the Zeus. Our Awesome destroys its LL. Our Stalker hit’s the ammo in the RT, boom, dead mech!!! Melee!! Our Atlas fell and our pilot blacked out. I kick, can I leg the Javelin, Wolfhound and/or Wolverine? Our Vulcan came 23 away from legging their LCT. Our Archer legs their Wolfhound! Our PXH legs their Jav! We drop their Wolverine but no legging.

We have savaged them. They eject the legged stuff, flee, head into the Union, and try to break out of our circle, we drop them. Can we salvage it? I miss by one. Nope. We salvage here from crashed mechs and stuff 8 mill of cash.

Sept 05, 3030 – We spend four days relaxing, and repairing and then blowing up their stuff. We salvage from them 900k from their HQ in supplies and parts and such. Get that cash!!!

We leave this planet.

Sept 12 – We arrive at the Zenith JumpPoint of the 3rd Pirate Planet System in the Periphery! Here our intel is correct and there are a pair of JumpShips – a Merchant with nothing and an Invader with two rings with a Leopard CV and then an Avenger too and an empty one. According to intel this has a Command Lance of Mechs and a Company of Vees. We unload and head out to meet them. They have here 6 fighters, and another 4 from converting their JumpShip Small craft and we smash them with our 12 in our new Union and two adds plus Achilles vs Avenger and then 2 Aquarius from it 2 more from our Invader. We take out 6 of their fighters, their Avenger, their Leopard CV flees and we cannot take it out. It loaded up on the Merchant. It jumps out. We head to their Invader and it also jumps out too. Can we salvage their Avenger? Yup, I toss a 10! It costs 11 mill, spent now! War chest is – 682,272,191.

Battle Loss at the JumpPoint – We took 6 mill in damage in the battle. We lost 6 fighters, and then three can be salvaged for 2.1 mill, and then three lost for 14,401,791. We also lost an Aquarius for 14,221,500. Then we can salvage 3 of theirs back for 2.5 mill.

Turn 1 – We beat them by 3 12-9 to grab init. I try to move 5. Our Stalker and Awesome base their LRM Carrier but just walked there. Our Atlas on their SRM one and Orion next to it. Our Vulcan and PXH and Archer next to a Hetzer! Our CRD on the LRM Carrier too. They move their Victor last and I base it with our BM. Weapons fire – I fire at their Rhino!!! Our BM’s LRM20 immobilizes their Pike! Our BM’s PPC destroys their Rhino’s front, dead tank!!! Our Atlas falls. Melee! Can I take out their LRM and SRM Carriers? Their SRM Carrier survives with 1 armor front, but their Hetzer is destroyed by my PXH! Their LRM Carrier destroyed by our Stalker! They leg our BM on the ground so we can reattach it.

Turn 2 – We win 6-4. They eject the Pike, us the BM. Our CRD bases their Hunter. Our Atlas rises. Our Banshee and Orion base their Victor. They move in their CRD, can I base it? I base it with our Archer, Awesome, PXH, Vulcan, and Wolfhound. Hopefully those can leg it. Our Stalker bases their SRM Carrier and Hopper too. Weapons fire! I fire at their Hunter trying to get it for me. Then some at their Puma too. I go overheat. Their Puma survives, but our Orion destroys their Hunter’s front with it’s AC10. No falls, melee! Our Stalker destroys the front of their SRM Carrier! Our Wolfhound legs their CRD LL!! Good stuff team! We don’t leg or drop their4 Victor.

They flee and eject the Crusader.

We are on the Megamek called “River-Coast-In-Shore #1” with a city in the middle and tons of trees. They are in the middle and us on the south. They are regular unless otherwise stated. Yes they have 13 mechs.

This is our beloved BattleMaster but the 1D variant with 4/6 movement on an 85 tonner, very strong armor at 248 points, a massive 24 heat sinks and then for weapons 1 PPC, 2 MG and 4 ML, no rear facing ones or SRM6. You can easily fire everything when running. Nice for twice!!!!!!!!!!

Turn 1 – We thump them 12 -6! Ouch. I move 5 where possible. Our Charger and Banshee base theirs and our Vulcan it’s flank. Our Wolverine bases their BJ! Their Catapult waits until the last moment. I base it with our CRD. I send all weapons at their Banshee. Our Catapult destroys their Banshee’s LA. It falls, and blacks out and took just 2 damage. Our Crusader drops too, not great since we cannot kick and start to wound their Catapult. Melee!!! Do I try to kick their Banshee which might or might not be salvageable? I do. Our Banshee destroys theirs RA. Armless!

Turn 2 - We keep init close 9-8! They turn their Cyclops. Our Vulcan bases it’s flank. Our Wolverine too. Their MAD bases our Wolfhound. Our BM bases it. Our Banshee bases their Catapult, and Grasshopper and TDR too!!! Our CRD their Wolfhound bases. Weapons – I want to fire at their TDR but it’s behind some hills. I take out their Cyclops instead. I do fire long range at their TDR overheat too. Our Banshee aims at the head of theirs and takes it out! Dead mech and MW too. Our Hopper destroys the RT of their Locust, RA on the ground. Our Wolverine hit Cyclops ammo in their LT, dead mech!!! Their TDR doesn’t fall. Melee!! Can I leg their Catapult? Yup! Our TDR legs the LL on it!

They eject the Catapult and flee and we capture their HQ!!

August 20, 3030 – Vee Company #9 (Iota) and ‘Eono Company arrive for their ComStar three month security deal at the planet of Errai near us. We land, unload, set up defenses and begin patrolling and it’ll end on Nov 20.

We set up scouting with two lances each, one Vee and mech each at either smash and scout for one, the other, or both long range units.

Sept 22, 3030 – The locals here raid the local nearby mech maker. We agree to hit them for the local governor. We are not contracted for this. Raiding is a merc mech company, so we send out the mech company of ‘Eono to help out and put the full vee on alert at the communications base we are set up at in case it’s a trap. I fire at their BM!!! It loses no pieces and then falls with 3 left internal in it’s LL. Our Bm and theirs too fell. Melee! Kicks!!! Our Banshee destroys their BM’s Rt, RA on the ground, and then our Catapult hit the gyro 3 and engine 2 times, dead mech! We can salvage it!!! No kicks hit their Spider, sad.

Turn 2 – We keep init by 1 7-6. They eject their BM!!! Our Locust bases their Urbie!!! Our BM rises. Our Jav bases their Archer’s flank. Our Vulcan bases their Cyclops. Our Goliath and CRD base their Hopper. Our TDR bases their Cyclops’s flank. They charge their Hunch, I base it with our Catapult. No one else can get there, Our Banshee and Charger base their Rifleman. I fire at their Grasshopper and Cyclops!!!!!! Overheat. We come 1 armor internal LL! No parts done for the Hopper. Then our BM is decapitated by their Cyclops, dead mech and warrior. Our Vulcan hit their Cyclops in the CT and hit the engine and gyro once each – down and out! Melee? Can I leg the grounded Hopper? The HBK or Rifleman too? Their Hopper survives with the savaged leg, insert sad face, but the Catapult legs their Hunch’s RL!!! We hit the Rifleman leg in the same leg, but one was a glancing blow. That saves them!!!

We took out both of their leaders and then a Hunch too. They eject from it and we return the things they were leaving the factory from with.

Turn 1 – We lose again, but bigger by 4. 8-4. We charge 5 where possible. We base their Behemoth and it’s under their Cataphract 2X. We base it and move just 3 our TDR, Charger and Banshee. We also base their TBT with our Goliath and Warhammer. They flank our Warhammer with their Hermes II and we base it with our Catapult, Vulcan and Dervish and Locust on it’s flank. Weapons fire! Our Mechs fire at their Stalker and vees split on their lightly armored Ontos and Schrek. Our Crusader hits the ammo in their Stalker - it ignites, dead mech!! Our Devastator destroys their Schrek’s front and our Manticore their Ontos’s turret. They get a through armor crit on our ammo in our Dervish and it lights up. Physical attack time!!! We leg their Hermes II! We drop their TBT and CTF 2X but no legs.

Turn 2 – We still lose – 5-2. They rise their CTF and I stick next to it with the same mechs turning to move. They rise their TBT and run and I base it with our Vulcan and Jav and Locust. Our Goliath, Crusader and Warhammer base their Rifleman but they backed up their Archer cannot get to it physically. I fire mechs at their Archer and vees at their Manticore. Our Charger’s AC20 hits the ammo on their Archer’s RT, boom!!! Our Rhino destroys their Manticore’s front. Dead tank. Their Hetzer destroys our Schrek’s front, dead tank! Melee?!?! Our Locust legs their TBT! Our Banshee their CTF!! Our Warhammer their Rifleman too!!!

They eject their legged stuff. They retreat from their attack, nothing to raid.

EVENT, August 16, 3030 – The planet of Outreach is granted to the Wolf’s Dragoons as a fiefdom since they really helped win the Draconis side of the war and are a big merc unit to rebuild. They lost the vast majority of their forces. They requested it. Outreach is the former site of a Star League industrial complex they know about and they will turn it int the central HQ of good stuff soon. Blackwell Industries will set up shop there with a mech making plant and get the Dragoons back up to speed with designs that are either the Dragoons’ own or from the Star League era like Falcons and Annihilators.

Sept 16, 3030 – Our giant navy arrives in the DC border system of Fellanin II at their Zenith JumpPoint. We come in with our giant navy. Also here are Sieben and Vee #7 Eta.

Then the same group come from the Nadir side to meet us at the planet. Can I salvage any of them? I toss a 7, 9, and 2 and 6 so yes to the Intruder for…9 mill, spent!!! Warchest is 696,122,049

Battle Loss at JumpPoint
– We took 8 mil of damage. Then we lost 10 fighters and 5 for a cost of 27,052,650 and then can salvage the others for 6.1 mill. And then we can salvage 8 of theirs for 635 mill.

Oct 02, 3030 – We arrive at the planet, the same 7 Drops are there form the Nadir point as well the same just here on D as well as a pair of Unions – 56 fighters! They like this planet!!! We do smash them up good…but…see below. We did take out 4 Achilles, 2 Leopards and then the rest fled. Can I salvage any? I toss an 8, 5, 7, 4 9 and 8. Yay for another Leopard CV!!! – We take 16 mill in damage. We lost an Achilles – can I salvage? I toss a 6 nope. It costs 428,011,200. We lost 24 fighters, and 12 can be salvaged for 8.9 mill and 12 lost for 67,997,460. We lost a pair of Aquarius we cannot salvage for 28,443,000 total. We can salvage 20 their fighters for 15 mill even.

Set-up: We lose 7-5. We set up my heavy stuff in the top section and then heavier stuff like Demolishers and such too under them. They set up at the top of the central flank. I cannot see much behind walls or blocks though.

Turn 1 – We lose init too 8-7. Still close. I charge 5 where possible. I hop over the walls to see them and then charge into with our smash lance, fire support and then big tanks too. Strong stuff. We can see most of their stuff. We base their Bulldog with our Banshee and Hunchback and BattleMaster. We fire mechs at their Longbow and then vees at their SF!!! Our Warhammer PPC hit the ammo on their Longbow’s RT and it sends it up. We also legged it and destroyed the LA. Eta’s Ontos destroys the front of their SturmFeur. Melee? Our BM destroys the side of their Bulldog.

Turn 2 – We lose init the worst possible – 12-2. Ouchie! We get our move on. Our Charger, BM and Banshee base their Archer. They base our Charger’s flank with their Stalker the rear with their PXh and the other flank their Dragon. I base their PXH with my Awesome, Grasshopper and our PXH too. Their Condor and Jenner to our rear. Their Locust, Scimitar and Wolverine base our Trebuchet in the back. Weapons fire! We fire mechs at their Stalker and then split up vee at their Schrek and Brutus each lighter armored. Their Hunter destroys my Ontos’s front. Our BM hit the ammo in their Stalker - boom, dead mech!! Our Schrek destroys theirs – dead vee!!!Our Maxim their Brutus too!!! Melee! We led their Archer 2K with our Charger; our PXH legs theirs!! But their Wolverine legs our TBT’s RL after focusing on it with fire from the Locust and such.

They eject their Archer, PXh and we took out 6 units too and retreat from their HQ that’s ours!!!

Sept 29, 3030 – Our just built Enogtyve Company arrives at the Zenith JumpPoint to Obj Raid the Lyran world of Gladius a few jumps back from the FWL border on their behalf. Nothing hits us or smashes us.

Oct 03, 3030 – We arrive at the planet and land. We land at a DropPort around two and a half hours from our target. This world is dense with tropical growth. This is a tourist planet where many come too, but no military, industrial or economic value, far away from raids too. The FWL hope us hurting them will force them to spend more value here, and we are hitting one of just two military HQs here.

Turn 1 – We win init finally 10-8. They charge their Stalker turn one 1st. I base it with my Banshee and Catapult. Their Jav and Wolverine hop away. I charge 5 were possible. Our BM bases their Awesome that didn’t move. Their Hopper bases my Catapult too. I fire at their BM! Our Hermes II hit their BM’s ammo in the RT, dead mech!!! Melee? No falls.

Turn 2 – We keep init 6-3. We move where possible. I base their Catapult with our Atlas, our Hermes II it’s flank and our Catapult too. Our Longbow and TDR base their Awesome. Their Jav and Wolverine aren’t base able. Their Hopper bases my TDR’s rear, I base it back with my BM, CRD, Warhammer and Wolverine. That should be enough. Our Hopper bases their Locust, our Banshee their Stalker. Weapons fire at their Awesome!!! Our Grasshopper destroys its LT, LA on the ground. Our Jav hit the gyro 3 and engine 3 times. Dead mech!!! Melee! Can I leg their Catapult and Hopper? Our Crusader legs their Hopper – legged! We drop but don’t leg their Catapult after hitting each leg…but…we do leg their Locust with our Grasshopper.

They eject, flee, and we capture their HQ!!!!

Sept 22, 3030 – Arriving at Kochab ready for the three-month security LC deal is Vee #6 Zeta and then Shishi Mechs. We will finish up on Dec 22, 3030. We are here for local pro-Isle of Skye dissidents to secure for three month until it calms down or other forces are rotated in. This is a backwater planet with little here.

Set-up – We lose set up 9-7. I set up my Atlas and then Demolisher under it at the top of the central flank outside of the walls and near their buildings, what I can see of theirs sets up behind us with firing lanes at us.

Turn 1 – We are back to losing init too 6-3. I charge 5 where possible, not really, and then enter open areas near seeing them and our jumper lights figure out where most of their stuff is. I base their FS after it leaps behind our Archer by our Jenner and Spider. Our CRD bases their Harasser after it flanks us. Other flankers are their Locust, and other light vees. They charge their Goliath and it bases our flank in our Atlas as well as their Banshee and Thunderbolt. Weapons fire! We fire mechs at their Banshee and vees at their Demolisher. Our Zhukov destroys the left of their tank. Our Catapult the Banshee’s LT, LA on the ground our Grasshopper hit’s it’s CT a few times, the gyro 2 and engine once – destroyed gyro!!! It falls and destroys the RA. Melee? We drop the FS but no legs and then our CRD destroys the Harasser’s front. Dead tank!! They drop our Archer. They leg our Atlas left one!

Our Banshee and TDR and BM base their TDR! Their Crusader backs up, I cannot base to leg it. Their Marauder bases our Archer. Our Awesome and CRD base it back. Weapons fire mechs at their Awesome, vees at their Brutus! Our Awesome destroys theirs’ RA, and our CRD it’s LA, and our Grasshopper it’s RT. No legs. Our Demolisher destroys their Brutus’s turret! Their Awesome falls, destroys the LT, armless and torso-less, but legs. Their SturmFeur destroys our Hunter’s front. Melee!!! Our Spider destroys the RL on their FS!!! They leg our Catapult’s right one. Our Hopper legs their Wolverine’s RL! Our BM legs their TBolt’s RL too!! We drop but split Marauder damage, no legs, but internal in both legs.

Beginning of Contract #83:

Sept 14, 3030 – Khamésh Company arrives for the Pirate Hunting deal for the Capellan Confederation with an Invader, Union, Leopard CV and then Achilles too. This system is where a Pirate Launch is about to happen according to CC intel, and we are here to hit them a few days before they attack. They are supposed to be at the Nadir JumpPoint assembling, and that’s where we arrived with an Avenger, Union and Leopard CV.

Intel is…dead on. Their Union is around the planet moving out to the JumpPoint escorted by their 2 fighters, and here are the Leopard and Avenger. We each unfurl our assets, but we are up 4 fighters and 4 Aquarius and then the nasty Achilles. We savage their Avenger, and then their Leopard begins to retreat screened by their 2 last fighters, our fighters follow and destroy its screens, and the Achilles is faster, so it takes it out too. We’ve taken out all of them. Their JumpShip jumps out.

Can we salvage their Avenger or Leopard CV? I toss a 5 and 9! Yes, to the Leopard CV!! It costs us 11 mill, spent now. War chest is 420,304,070.

They pull their Union to return to the planet.

Battle Loss – We took 4 mill in damage. We lost 4 fighters, 2 can be salvaged for 1.85 mill, two lost for a value of 11,736,000.

We salvaged and then find here from the fighters and two Drops 7 mill.

Sept 18, 3030 - Khamésh Company arrives and then lands outside of their HQ with their Union and such nearby. We scout with fighters and we can see they have 12 mechs, we set out and get our smash on, and their 2 fighters from their Union begin a dogfight with ours.

Set-up: We win 7-4! I set up our Atlas at the top of the south flank. Their Atlas near us, the rest on the far side!!

Turn 1 – We win init too 11-9! I charge 5 where possible. Their Centurion bases our Stalker’s flank, our BM bases it. Their Warhammer and Archer move to the right side not center. I base their Warhammer with our Jenner and Locust. Our PXH bases their Wolverine. Our Hopper bases their Valkyrie. Their Atlas moves last and bases our BM, our Atlas moves last and bases their Centurion. Weapons fire at their Atlas!! Our Atlas falls, theirs lost it’s RA to our Grasshopper, blown off on the ground. Then it ate 11 damage to the head, fell and blacked out with 3 hits. Melee! No Atlas kick on their Centurion. We drop their Warhammer and Centurion and leg it’s RL with our BM that blew ff it’s leg, on the ground.

Turn 2 - We lose init 10-6. I stand and backup our Atlas. They charge in their Victor. Our Banshee bases it. Their Warhammer rises! Our Orion bases their Urbie that bases the flank of our Banshee. Our LCT bases their Urbie too. Their Wolverine bases the flank of my Atlas. Can I base it back? Our BM, Warhammer and PXH base it. Our Stalker bases their Urbie. Our Jenner bases their damaged leg Valkyrie. Our Hopper bases their Archer. I fire at their Warhammer! Hopefully we can leg it. I fire long range weapons overheat on their Archer and my Orion and Banshee cannot see the Hammer at all. Our Whitworth legs their Warhammer’s LL, and then it falls and breaks its RA. Their Archer was barely hit and walks away. Our Atlas fell again. Hand-to-hand time!! Can I leg the Urbie, Valkyrie, and Wolverine? Their Wolverine kicks and destroys our Atlas’s RT, RA on the ground. Our Stalker destroys the RL on their Urbie. Our Warhammer their Wolverine’s RL too! Their Valkyrie is not hit though. Their Atlas doesn’t waken!

We capture their leader and with their Invader gone and nowhere to run they surrender and we get their Union. The CC gets what isn’t salvageable like that Archer and Griffin.

Sept 21, 3030 – We scour their HQ and find there just 825k, not much. We finish rearming, armoring, and then repairing and salvaging our captured stuff. We blow up their HQ!

Sept 25 – We blast out and leave this system.

Oct 03, 3030 - We arrive at the Nadir JumpPoint of the system two jumps away. This has, according to CC intel here an Invader and no Avenger, but 2 Leopard CVs and a Union here too. Intel is current, we arrive, they are here, no Union though. They unload 12 fighters to our 11 and 4 Aquarius from our new Leopard CV. With no escort or attack stuff, we smash them fast and good. We took out their 10 fighters, one Leopard CV, the other jumped!!! Can we salvage theirs? We toss a 5. Nope. Their Invader flees!!!

– We take in damage 6 mill. We can salvage 5 of their fighters for 2.85 mill and 2 of ours for 2.2 mill. Then we lost 2 fighters for a Battle Loss of 6,798,090.

Set-up we lose 8-7. I set up at the top. They set up their Longbow at the bottom and then the rest at the top in a giant circle.

Turn 1 – We edge them to grab init 11-9. Close. I charge 5 where possible ,and our BM bases their Urbie. Their Cataphract bases our BM’s flank. They hop their Catapult back, QD too. I run my Jenner in heavy woods. I hop my Whitworth into them too. Our Grasshopper bases their Vindicator that bases our Orion’s flank and PXH too. Our Jenner bases their Commando. Their Longbow moves last, to the rear of our Warhammer. I base it with our Atlas and SHD too. I fire at it if they can see it. About 5 fire at their Goliath. Our Orion’s AC10 beheads their Goliath, no other parts destroyed, dead mech!!!! No parts off their Longbow, it’s standing with their RL savaged and 2 armor left internal, could be legged! Melee! Can I leg their Longbow? We do hit it, but the other leg. We dropped their Vindicator and Cataphract!

Turn 2 – For init we keep it 7-5. Our Whitworth camps, they move their Catapult into far away woods, I try to move towards it. Our Orion bases their Urbie and our TBT too. Our Jenner stays based to their Commando. Their Cataphract doesn’t rise. Their Longbow moves, I base it with my Atlas, PXh and Hopper. Their Shadow Hawk bases the flank of my Stalker. Their Vindicator rises and runs away. I fire at their Catapult. All short range stuff at their Cataphract. Their Catapult is +5 to hit in heavy and jumped 3. Our Atlas beheaded it with the AC20, then it blew up with the ammo in the RT going up from our Stalker. Dead mech times 2!!! Their Catapult was barely touched. Melee? Can we leg the Urbie, Longbow and Commando? Our Orion legs their Urbie’s RL!! Our Jenner their Commando’s LL!!! Our Grasshopper their Longbow’s RL! All three legged!!

They eject their three legged and then flee. They flee into the Union, and blast out to off planet past our fighters and then Achilles moving to the Zenith JumpPoint. We destroy them in space. Can I savage it? I toss a 6, nope!

Oct 10, 3030 – We spend three days refitting, repairing and fixing everything, and then we salvage in their HQ – 1.4 mill. We blow it up and then head to the final system!

Oct 14 – We arrive at the Zenith JumpPoint of a Pirate base we need to take out. According to our intel they just arrived here and are here at the JumpPoint and just arrived. We see here an Invader with an Avenger, Leopard CV, and then an open ring with a Union heading to the planet. We smash them and kill the Avenger, but the Leopard CV survives and heads to the planet as did two of their fighters, can we salvage their Avenger? I toss an 8, nope.

Battle Loss at JumpPoint - We took 9 mill in damage. They savaged us! We lost three fighters and can salvage two for 1.25 mill and then lost one for 4,454,053. We lost an Aquarius for 14,221,500. We can salvage 2 of their lost fighters for 1.9 mill.

Set-up – We lost it 9-7. We set up on the Atlas Flank on the south central. Our Whitworth starts in heavy woods, it’ll camp. Their Banshee was placed near me, not the rest. They are at the top.

Turn 1 – We thump them to win init 8-3. I charge 5. Our Banshee bases their Orion which they move 1st, and our BM moves 6 to do so. Our Atlas moves 4 to base their Shadow Hawk. Our Warhammer and Orion too. Their Griffin bases our Atlas’s flank. I base it with our TBT, Jenner, and Grasshopper. They don’t move their Banshee. I fire at it. I cannot see it with our BM, it fires at their Warhammer ditto our Banshee. Our Locust hit the ammo on their Banshee, dead mech!!! Their Grand Dragon hit the AC20 on my Atlas. Their Warhammer and our Atlas both fall. Melee!!! We drop their Orion, Griffin and then our Warhammer destroys their Shadow Hawk’s LL!

Turn 2 – We keep init 12-9. Sorry. They don’t rise the Orion, insert sad face. They don’t eject their SHD. Our Warhammer bases their Grand Dragon. Our Atlas rises and then bases their Striker our BM stays next to it and their downed Orion. Our Banshee stays next to their downed Orion and their jumped over Spider. Our Locust to their Striker’s rear. Our Orion next to their Spider. Our Jenner by their Striker’s flank. They rose their Warhammer. Our PXH next to their Striker. They move their Griffin last. They don’t rise it. I fire at their Orion on the ground. They drop our Atlas, no legging their Striker. Our WW LRM10 hit the ammo in their Orion’s LT, dead mech!!! We didn’t hurt it much just that and we legged the RL but on the ground, we can gather it. Our Grasshopper hit the ammo in the RT of their Grand Dragon with its large laser, dead mech. Melee! Can we leg their Spider…I don’t know what else I can get here. We’ll see!!! Their Striker destroys our Atlas’s RA. Our Banshee and Orion both leg their Spider - double legged!! While on the ground, our Grasshopper does hit their Griffin in the damaged leg, and then we toss a 12 and it flies off. Legged!

They eject, the three legged mechs and then the 6 left try to flee load up into their Union with their 4 fighters killed and then Leopard CV too and then they head out. Our Achilles and Leopard and fighters take them both out in space. Can we salvage them? I toss a 3 and 10. Yes to their Union!!! It costs 8 mill to fix up – spent. 423,304,070 is the War Chest.

Battle Loss at Planet – 4 mill, we can salvage 2 of their fighters for 1.65 mill. We lost 2 fighters in the dog fight and here one can be salvaged for 750k, the other lost for 3,399,045

EVENT Sept 11, 3030 – After increased friction from allying with the CC to not supporting them, the Duchy of Andurien fully declares independence and secedes. The Andurien Crisis begins. They’ll try to go it alone. They offer us a deal with rich Dame Humphreys money to back it up. They are at war with the CC and joined with the Magistracy of Canopus to dial out chunks of them while weakened to increase their size into harder to bite back chunks by the FWL and to make the Magistracy a real nation in size from a Periphery one. When on one attacked the FWL in the 4th Succession War instead of using that as an opportunity for grow massively they tentatively snagged a system here and there and then were hit with a counterpunch and called it. That was very unpopular with the powers that be. And Andurien massively.

Given our massive successes against the CC in all 7 Waves of Operation “Rat” for the FS against the CC in the fast 4th Succession War we are immediately contacted for a contract. They have the great Andurien Defender units. They have the Tooth of Ymir mercs and others.

They want us to hit the two CC planets of Primus with nothing but CCAF defender’s and then the open Prix with no major defenders and want a Battalion each of mechs. We could send in #1, Deux and Tres, and the ones that just returned. The 6th Defenders will hit the Earthworks Mech world of Grand Base and then others will hit the key industrial world of Betelgeuse. I could try and negotiate two meches and then one vee company each.

Arriving at the Primus JumpPoint at their Nadir one is Mech companies #1, Deux and Vee Alpha. We are arriving with Andurien escorts and ships to attack Cap defends since we cannot get our navy here. Primus is an agrarian world on the border but with little military value other than being a nice breadbasket.

They have here just an Invader with an Avenger, Leopard CV and then 8 fighters, 2 from JumpShip and an open ring for an Overlord to ditto the Zenith one too. They blow through them and then they jump out and then we have controlled the JumpPoint

Sept 19 – We arrive at the planet where two more Avengers and Leopard CVs and then an Overlord of fighters here too. They are easily handled. We follow them and then land safely a few hours from their HQ of the local militia.

Set-up – We lost 9-7. Close I suppose! I set up our heavier smash stuff in the middle and smash vees, all at the bottom of the northern most flank we are on. They set up around us with nothing in the top most-south flank they are on.

Turn 1 – We lose this too, big - 10-4. By 6. I charge 5 everywhere. Our Atlas first, they begin to flank us down the sides with their Locusts, Javelin and Spider and more. I base their Locust on the left flank with our Vulcan and Valkyrie, and then on the right flank their Spider with our three scout lights there. Their Wasps base our Maxim. Weapons fire! I split and fire 18 each at their no-ammo booming Awesome and then their Atlas, both at around 7-9 away depending on where they are. Our Enforcer removes the LA on their Atlas, and then our Patton it’s RA, and Behemoth its RL. Legged!!! Our JagerMech beheads their Awesome, dead mech! Sorry. Then we destroyed its RL, RT and LT, LA too. Melee! We drop their Locust and Spider. Our Maxim is immobile.

Turn 2 - We also lose, but just by one 5-4. Ouch. We eject the Maxim and then charge 5. They run in front of our Atlas with their Cataphract 3 in front, I base it and then also with our Banshee and BM too. They rise their Locust, my Valkyrie and Vulcan stick on it. They rise their Spider too, my 3 lights stay, they are in my rear flank with their flankers. They hop their Grasshopper to the rear of my JagerMech I just moved up to expose it. Bait taken! I base with my Awesome, Stalker, Zeus and Vindicator. They base our Behemoth with some lights. Weapons fire!!! I fire 12 each at their Stalker, Longbow and then Orion. Our Grasshopper hit the ammo in their Stalker’s RA – boom, dead mech! Our Marauder 3D hit the ammo in their Longbow RT boom, dead mech. Our Pegasus legs their Orion’s RL, and our Brutus it’s RT too. They savage our Behemoth. Melee? We leg their Locust’s RL by our Valkyrie. Our Wolfhound legs the same leg in their Spider!!! They finish off my Behemoth’s front. Our Vindicator their Grasshopper’s LL legged. We drop their Cataphract but no legs, since we split them. They drop our Awesome.

Turn 3 – We lose this one by 4, 11-7. Craps!!! They don’t eject any legged dorks. I rise our Awesome. We charge their Thunderbolt and base it with my three assaults on the Cataphract last turn. It rises, and we move next to it with our Crusaders. Their lights scouted are on our rear based. Our MAD and Enforcer base their Urbie. They base my Brutus with lights too. We base their Marauder 3L with two Awesomes and a Stalker. They leapt their Catapult away, no kicks. We charge their Scorpion after it bases our Stalker’s rear with our Grasshopper and Vindicator and Zeus. They eject and we cannot take their Wolverine or PXH either. Their Zeus and Goliath base my Atlas. We fire 12 each at their Zeus, Goliath and TBolt with the not-great vee squad. Our Awesome in 1st Company hit ammo in their Zeus’s RT. Dead mech!!! Our Marauder 3D destroys the FRL on the Goliath and our Valkyrie hit the ammo, boom, dead mech!! Our AC20 in the Hetzer destroys their Thunderbolt’s RT, our Manticore its RL too. They destroy the ammo in my Valkyrie – boom! Dead mech. Melee! Our Crusader legs their Cataphract’s RL. We split up and didn’t leg their MAD3L. We did leg their Scorpion and Urbie though. They destroyed our Brutus’s left side too.

They flee and then eject from legged mechs. We took out four assaults with booms and then legged 10 more!!! Sorry.

They surrender, and then load up in their Overlord and then flee the planet. They head to the JumpPoint.

I need No parts other 70 tonners? Like Archers, Cataphracts and Warhammers??? Got it in Archer form….but I toss a 4 and no work, so I use a Cataphract one instead. Added! TDR? Got the RT in it’s chassis, but no legs at all. Other 65 tonners? Got a JagerMech one and….it works, added!! The Cataphract 2X RL? Nope, all out - other 70 tonners? Nope! Fixed and added!! Also, we fix the Scorpion too. But not the Urbie and Locust. War chest is 452,449,127 after fixing them up.

Us:

Behemoth – destroyed front, can we salvage? I toss a 6, nope.
Brutus – destroyed our left, can we salvage? Yup, 8 tossed!

We can fix our Maxim easy and recover our Brutus. I cannot bring back the Behemoth and ammo blown up Valkyrie too.

Our 9 infantry squads and vees and mechs take over all population centers. We’ll stay behind to deal with resistance cells. Andurien has folks that’ll take over the government too.

Beginning of the Prix Campaign:

Sept. 13, 3030 – Arriving at the Prix Nadir JumpPoint are the 5 new infantry we rescued, and then Tres and Arba Mech companies and then Vee Beta Company, as well as Andurien Escorts. Prix is more industrial than Primus, but not massively so.

At the JumpPoint is just an Invader with an Avenger, Leopard CV and that it. They are handled massively.

Sept 30, 3030 – We arrive at the planet after a 17-day journey. The Anduriens take out the locals and we land and get our scout on for their defenses. We meet up with their planetary leaders. They surrender the planet. They don’t want it destroyed and there is no local force just infantry and such. They also feel that getting retaken by the CCAF is unlikely given how far away they are and un-valuable they are right after the 4th smashed them hard.

The Anduriens taken over and they are going to use it as a waypoint and resupply depot. They will work together.

Beginning of the Altorra Raid:

Nov 02, 3030 – Our other three companies arrive at the CC world of Altorra at their Nadir JumpPoint. This is a diversionary raid to keep it seem like the Anduriens are hitting this world. We do have our navy here though, just a pair of Achilles, Leopard CVs and then Overlord and Gazelle on two Invaders.

At the JumpPoint is just an Avenger and Leopard CV, we handle them both easily. Can we salvage one or both? I toss an 11 and 8, so yes to the Avenger. It’ll cost us 9 mill, spent! War Chest is 443,449,127.

Battle Loss at JumpPoint
– We took 5 mill, and then lost 3 fighters, 2 salvageable for 1.2 mill. Then one lost for 6,151,500. We salvage 2 of theirs for 2.8 mill.

We find here at the JumpPoint stuff totaling 8 mill.

Nov 9, 3030 – We arrive at their planet and they have here another Avenger and Leopard we blow through and then an Overlord of fighters flee. Then we cannot salvage them.

Battle Loss at Planet
– We took 10 mill. We lost 4 fighters, two can be salvaged for 1.6 mill and then the other two lost for 12,303,000. We can salvage 5 of theirs for 3.65 mill.

We find here at the planet salvaging 11 mill.

We land and then scout with our fighters. We unload at a DropPort around 3.5 hours away. Our goal is to smash them hard, make them think we are here, take everything and then blow this base up and then hurt their infrastructure.

Set-up – We win 12-2. Ouch. Sorry. We set up at the bottom of the northern flank and then lesser things behind it. They set up on the south flank near an urban base, at the bottom most. We can see around a 3rd of their stuff.

Turn 1 - We lose the first round’s initiative much closer than we won set-up 10-7. We charge 5. They begin to scout our flanks with their non-Urbie lights and PXH too. Our two Javs. Spider and Jenner base their PXH on the left flank. Their Locust on the east flank bases our Harasser. We first 18 mechs at their Atlas and Awesome. Love to bring them both in. Only around 15 or so each can see them. They are around 5-8 hexes away. Nove’s Hunchback’s AC20 beheads their Atlas and our Javelin there destroys it’s RA and it’s RL. Dead mech and MechWarrior and we killed their CO too. That’ll annoy them all up and down the block. Our Awesome and Grasshopper in Unsprezece each destroy a leg in theirs. Then our Falcon Hover Tank it’s CT, dead mech. Ouch. Not salvageable. Melee! They kick and wound our Harasser – half movement. We drop but don’t leg the PXh.

Turn 2 – We lose the 2nd round initiative even closer 7-6. We charge 5 where possible. Their PXH rises and we stay based with our three lights. We charge our Atlas just 3 to base their Zeus. Our BM does too, and then our Banshee too, but then they hop their Victor to one flank and then their QD to the rear. We base their QD with our Hunchback, Orion, and two Awesomes. We ejected the Harasser too. Their east flank fast stuff base my east flank Trebuchet hiding and camping. A Locust, Wasp and Stinger base it. I jump my Vulcan to base them back. We can see most of their stuff; Weapons fire!! I fire 12 each at their Victor, Charger and Stalker. Nove’s Awesome destroys their Victor’s LL, and then the Javelin hit the ammo, boom, dead mech!!!!!!! Unsprezece’s Charger’s AC20 hit the ammo on their Stalker’s RA, dead mech!! Their Dervish destroys our AC2 Carrier front. Then our Rommel and Demolisher double leg their Charger, and then it destroys the RT fall, RA on the ground. Melee! Our Banshee legs their Zeus’s RL. Our TBT and Vulcan leg their Locust’s 1L’s RL too. Our Awesome legs their QD’s LL this time. Our Javelin legs their PXH’s RL back again. Great!!! They drop and leg our TBT’s RL though.

Turn 3 – We lose 8-7. They keep it up. I eject our TBT. We base their Merlin with our Atlas, Banshee and BM moving just 2 each. We base their Hunchback with our Orion and double Awesome. Their flankers base our rear. Their Catapult leaps back and cannot be based. We base their Warhammer with our 2 Archers, Warhammer and Hunch. Weapons fire!!! We fire 12 each at their Catapult, Thunderbolt and Archer!!! Our Awesome in Nove destroys their Archer’s ammo in the RT, boom, dead mech. We also destroyed it’s LL and LA. Our Vee Squad’s Awesome…er…Schrek hits the ammo in their TBolt’s LT. Boom! We also destroyed its H, and RT and RL. Unsprezece’s CRD hit and destroyed their Catapult’s RL – legged and we double arm it with our Grasshopper and Javelin. Legged!!! Melee! We keg their Merlin’s LL with our BM, and the RL of their Warhammer by ours! We double leg their Hunchback!!

We’ve captured or legged or destroyed all of their Assaults, both CO and XO, and then taken out 6 of their mechs and legged another 9 mechs!!! We smashed them good, they flee to their Battalion holding Overlord and then to the JumpPoint we didn’t arrive in, we take them out in space. Can we salvage? We toss a 6, nope.

They will be rotating a newly hired merc unit called Carson’s Renegades to garrison the world until they send in regular folks and then we’ll hit our next Diversionary Raid.

(In the real game, the Renegades smashed them hard but turned down their surrender offer.)

Beginning of the Fronde Raid:

Nov 28, 3030 – We arrive at the JumpPoint for our next raid with the same folks at the last one at the Fronde JumpPoint of their Zenith one. This is SUPPOSED to be another Diversionary Raid, to keep the CC guessing, but this time we have a political team in case this goes as well as well as the previous one.

Here is another Invader Jumps with an Avenger, Leopard CV and then an empty slot for them to flee, ditto the Nadir JumpPoint. Our 22 fighters, and 4 Aquarius smash them up good and then destroy them both!! Can we salvage one? I toss a 3 and 11 so yes to the CV! We can get it running for 13 mill – spent!! 426,449,127 is our War Chest. Their Invader flees when we track it down.

Battle Loss at the Jump Point – We take 3 mill. We lost just 2 fighters, one can be salvaged for 775k and then one lost for 5,410,530. We can salvage 2 of theirs for 2.05 mill.

We find here at the JumpPoint 6 mill.


Dec 04, 3030 – We arrive at the planet of Fronde and the ones from the Nadir one arrive plus the 6 fighters from an Overlord to give them 12 total. We take out everything but their Overlord and 4 fighters that head to the planet. Can we salvage one of these two? I toss a 7 and 3 – nope.

Battle Loss at the Planet – We take 5 mill, lost 4 fighters and two salvageable for 1.6 mill and then two lost for 10,093,864. We can salvage 4 of their fighters for 4.25 mill.

We find here with two destroyed Drops and more fighters and such stuff we can sell for 8 mill.

Our fighters smash us down and clear out a landing site, and we have like 20 doing so and then escorting our battalion down and then scouting their HQ where their Overlord is. We unload and then head over to hit them hard.

Our Awesome 8T in Nove hit the ammo on their Atlas -boom in the LT, dead mech!!! We also destroyed the RA and LL. Our TDR in Unsprezece hit and savaged their BM’s CT, and hit the engine and gyro once each, and our Shrek legs it’s RL and RA destroyed by our Rhino. Melee! We drop their Locust, their Locust hurt our Condor and then We drop their Vulcan. They immobilize the Condor.

Turn 2 – They keep init still close 7-5. I charge 5 where possible after ejecting our Condor. They eject their BM, it’s ours. Their Goliath steps into where we’d need 3 to base it with our Atlas, TBolt and BM and Banshee – done. Ditto their JagerMech to protect their Longbow they pull back. I base it with our two Archers and Awesomes. They rise their Wasp and Vulcan, and then we stay stuck on them with those same mechs. Their flankers base my stuff. Our CRD is based in the flank by a Vindicator I base with our TBT and Grasshopper and PXH. We are based in the Atlas’s flank by their Hermes II and next to our AC2 Carrier in the back a pair of Locusts. Weapons fire - I fire 12 each at their Longbow, Stalker and then Charger too. Our TBolt in Unsprezece beheads their Stalker!!! We also destroy its LL, and LA too. Nove’s Archer 2S hit the ammo in their Longbow’s RT, and then we took out both arms too. Our Vee Demolisher hit and took out their Chargers RT, and then we pepper those H a bit and it blacks out from the fall with 4 damage. We also took out the LA and LT. Melee? Our Banshee legs their Goliath it’s FRL is down. It falls, hits the leg again, travels up and then booms the RT and then lights up. We lose the AC2 Carrier again, this time the front. Our Awesome leg’s the RL of their good JagerMech. Our Jav legs their Wasp and our Wolverine their Vulcan!!! We drop their Vindicator.

Turn 3 – They keep init, and blow us out 10-3. Their BJ a sac play to jump in front of their Rifleman. I base it with our Orion, Atlas and Banshee and BM. They hop their Catapult away! But their Hopper jumps next to my Atlas’s rear. I base it with our two Awesomes and Archers that just legged their JM and then a PXH too. Their lights left base our rear units like our TBT on their Vindicator that rose and then rear flanks in our mechs. We charge their Orion with my Crusader. Weapons fire! I fire 12 each at their Orion, Catapult and then Cataphract 2X. Gamma Vee’s Rhino hit their Cataphract’s RA done, and then our Goblin its RT ammo hit – dead mech!!! Also, it’s RL gone. Our Thunderbolt hit the ammo in their Catapult LT. Boom, dead mech, 4th kill for her!! We took out everything but the H and LL. Nove’s Hunchback destroyed their Orion’s RA with it’s AC20, and then it’s LA by our Archer. It falls, no legs. They drop our Atlas. Melee!!! Our BM legs their BJ’s RL!! It kicks our downed Atlas, and then takes out the damaged and internal RA. Our TBT legs their Vindicator!! Our CRD hit the downed Orion’s RT gone, still legs though.

With us taking out 5 mechs with booms and a H shot 6th one, and then legging 7 more, we’ve taking out a full company in three rounds, they eject and then flee.

At first they flee and then try to slip away into the area and such nearby as lances, but we have too many fighters, so they head to their Overlord and load up. They head to the other JumpPoint with an Invader waiting. We take them out in space with my two Achilles and tons of fighters. We DO toss a 10 and salvage it!!! It’ll cost 12 mill, spent!!!! Our War chest is 427,449,127.

Turn 1 - Init lost same by three, 9-6. We charge five. Our Banshee and BM base their Grand Dragon they move in front just three moved. Then our TBolt bases it too. Their Pegasus and Condor flank our east flank. We base them in the same space with our Spider, Vulcan and Wolverine. Their Wasp bases our Spider’s flank. They last base us with their Grasshopper to our rear. Weapons fire!! I fire mechs at their Atlas and vees at their Demolisher. Our Stalker destroys its RA, and our TBT hit the ammo next door in the RT, boom, dead mech!!! Our Maxim their Demolisher’s front side taken out too. Dead tank!!!! Melee! I base it with my Awesome, Stalker, Catapult and our Grasshopper. Our TDR, BM and Banshee base their Hunchback. I keep our scouts by their Pegasus. Weapons fire. Beginning of Contract #86:

Nov 13, 3030 – Baais Company arrives at the CC Nadir JumpPoint for the Extract Raid by the SIC at their planet of Geifer! This is the company with great mechs but some non-elite folks. We unfurl, and then scan them!

Here at each JumpPoint are an Invader with an Avenger, and a Leopard CV and at the Planet them plus an Intruder too. We unload, and then engage. We take them out easily, can I salvage either? I toss an 8 and 4 - nope. We also take out 5 of their fighters. Their Invader flees after we move towards it.

Battle Loss at the JumpPoint
– We take 10 mill - ouch!!!! We lost 4 fighters, 2 can be salvaged for 1.7 mill and then 2 lost for 8,572,841. We can salvage 3 of theirs back for 2.25 mill.

We salvage for the 2 Drops and 2 fighters and ours too 7 mill. Yay!!!

Nov 19, 3030 – We arrive at the planet and are facing 2 Leopard CV, a Union, 2 Avengers and an Intruder – so 16 fighters total. We take out an Avenger, Leopard and Intruder the others flee in three directions, the Union planetward with their 4 fighters left as a screen, the Avenger to the Invader left and then the Leopard CV to the north orbit. We follow their Union down. We took out 12 fighters. Can I salvage the three destroyed? I toss a 10, and 2 and 9, so yes to the Avenger and Intruder!!! I spend for the Avenger – 5 mill and then their Intruder 8 mill - 13 mill total, War Chest is 467,967,248

Battle Loss at the Planet
– We take just 6 mill. We lose 6 fighters, and then three can be salvaged for 2.6 mill and then we lost three for 13,772,364. We can salvage six of their fighters for 3.65 mill. We lost an Aquarius and can salvage it for 1.5 mill.

We salvage here for everything 6 mill too.

We land and scout around with our Fighters around 30 minutes from their Union. Our goal is to extract military stuff (materiel) from a supply depot at their HQ.

Thei Victor bases my Atlas flank and our Orion the Catapult and then our Banshee and BM their Victor but move 4. Our Awesome moves 4 too to base their Banshee and our Archer 5. Our Catapult moves 4 to base their SHD. Our Hopper bases their Banshee. Our Wolverine bases their Vindicator. Our Wolfhound and Griffin base their Scorpion. I fire at their Victor! Our Orion hit the AC20 ammo- boom, dead mech!!! Lightly touched and the only thing destroyed. We knocked down their Scorpion. Melee!! Our Orion destroys the LL on their Catapult!!! Legged!!! Our Wolfhound legs their Scorpion’s LLR on the ground. We drop their Banshee and VND.

Turn 2 – Turn 2 – We keep init 12-7, much bigger. Our BM bases their Vulcan. Their legged Scorpion…rises!!! Their Jav cannot be reached it’s in woods. Our Atlas bases their Vulcan. Their Locust bases my Awesome’s flank. Our Archer bases it. Their Grasshopper next to my Atlas’s rear, I base it with our Orion, Catapult, Wolverine and Grasshopper. Their Vindicator rises, our Banshee and CRD next to it. Weapons fire at their Banshee if they can draw a LOS. Very few can. They drop our Archer, no legged Locust. Before it falls it destroys their Banshee’s LL, legged!!! They destroy our Archer’s RL. Melee!! We didn’t leg their Vulcan, but our Banshee destroys the RL of their Vindicator and our Wolverine the RL of their Grasshopper too!!!

They eject and then give us the battlefield!!! We’ve taken them down!!!

Nov 12, 3030 – Téis company arrives at the Nadir JumpPoint to hunt down Pirates for the MOC!!! We have an Invader, Leopard CV, Achilles, and Union with us. We unload and our intel has them here, but it’s wrong, they are at the Zenith point. We unfurl and head to the planet where their Avenger, Leopard CV flee too as well.

Nov 19, 3030 – We arrive and then smash them all good! We took them both out!!! Can we salvage one or both? I toss a 3 and 5 -nope – not even combined – we took out 6 fighters too.

Melee? We get our kick on!!! We leg…ALLLLL…of the mechs we kick! Wasp, Jenner, Griffin 1S, SHD AND Crusader!!! Wow that’s crazy luck! We have legged and then killed their CO and taken out or legged HALF of their stuff. We blacked out the Jenner pilot though.

Do they keep coming? I toss a 5, nope, they eject and then load up into their Union and leave for the other JumpPoint.

We destroy it once it leaves the planet with 6 untouched mechs and then2 fighters too. Can we salvage their Union? I toss a 7, nope.

Nov. 22, 3030 – We spend 3 days reloading, refitting, and then salvaging from their HQ 2 mill.

We launch back and then head out.

Nov 29, 3030 – We arrive at the Zenith JumpPoint of our next Pirate Hunting system. We unfurl and then scan. Intel tells us this is where they are. They are here, an Invader, Leopard CV and then Avenger too as well as a Scout Class one with one JumpShip – both empty.

We smash them and then blow them up easily. We destroy all fighters too. They flee with their Invader and Scout when we approach. Can we salvage either? I toss an 11 and 4, so yes to the Leopard CV!!! It costs us 8 mill – spent!!! War chest is 465,649,736.

Battle Loss
– We take 4 mill. We can salvage 3 of their fighters for 2.25 mill, and then we lost 2 and one can be salvaged for 1.2 mill and then one lost for 5,410,530.

Set-up – We lose 7-2. Ouch. I set up in the middle. We can see all of their stuff behind woods.

Turn 1 – We win init close - 6-5. Our Charger bases their Behemoth. Our Vulcan leaps to it too. Our Stalker and TDR near their Striker. Our Spider by their Pegasus. Our Grasshopper next to their Brutus on their Striker and our PXh too. Their Rifleman next to us. Our Catapult next to their LRM Carrier. Their Charger next to it’s flank, our Archer to it’s rear. Weapons fire on that Rhino but woods might be in the way or range. It backed up. We also fire close range at their Brutus. Their Rhino survives but our Spider immobilized their Pegasus! Our TDR it’s Brutus’s turret destroyed. They drop our Atlas. Melee? Our TDR Immobilizes their Striker!! Our Catapult destroys their LRM Carrier’s front!!! We drop their Rifleman and our Grasshopper legs it’s RL!!!

Turn 2 – We keep init – 8-3. Back to big stuff. They eject their Striker and Pegasus. Our Atlas rises and backs up one. They rise the Rifleman, weird. Our Stalker, Hopper, Charger, Vulcan and Catapult next to their Puma. Our TDR next to their Wasp their Charger bases its flank and then our Archer bases the Puma too. Weapons fire!! I fire long range at their Rhino and close to their Von Luckner, Hetzer, Harasser and then Behemoth. Only the Hetzer walks away!!! Our BM PPC immobilizes their Rhino!! They drop our Atlas again. Our Charger destroys their VL’s front. Our Archer takes out the Harasser’s front. Our Grasshopper destroys their Behemoth’s rear. Wow that’s a lot. Melee? Can we off their Puma? Nope! But our TDR legs their Wasp’s RL!!!

They flee and eject their legged mechs, but have no where to go with the JumpPoint stuff gone and then we have full control. We stop them and then they surrender. There is no where to run the gauntlet too. We turn their stuff over to the MAC but gained their Leopard and Gazelle.

Dec 07, 3030 – We take down the vees we couldn’t salvage for 750k , salvage from their HQ 1.4 mil and then rearm, armor, reload, and repair and fix up our salvage.

We blast out after blowing up their base.

Dec 12, 3030 - We arrive at the 3rd Pirate Nadir JumpPoint where there a pair of Merchants with a Leopard CV and Avenger and 2 open DropRings. We unload they do too, we savage their escort Avenger and then they flee with their JumpShips after it loads up and we chase them. Can we salvage their Avenger? We toss a 2, nopes. Sad face.

Turn 1 – We win 10-8. They move their Catapult first. Can I base it? Nope 6 away from my Atlas. They move their Victor and I base it with our TDR. Our Stalker bases their Vindicator that bases my Atlas’s flank. Their Hunch bases its flank, our Awesome bases both of their Medium. Our BM moves 6 and bases their Catapult. Our Archer, Grasshopper, and Charger base their Hunch. Our Vulcan bases their Centurion. Our Spider bases their Commando. They move the Jenner last. Our PXH bases it. I fire at their Banshee. Turn 2 - We edge them 11-10. Close!!! Their Hunchback blacks out trying to stand! Our Vulcan bases their Stinger after rising. Our Atlas and Stalker base their Wolverine, and then they base the Stalker’s rear with their Centurion. Our Archer and Awesome base it. Our BM and TDR base their Rifleman. Our Grasshopper next to their Victor and Catapult. Their Vindicator tries to stand, falls and breaks it’s LL off!!!! Our Catapult, PXH and Spider base their Jenner. Our Charger bases their Commando. We fire at their Victor. Our Stalker’s LRM20 hits the ammo in the Victor’s RT , boom, dead mech!!! They drop our Atlas – so no legging their Wolverine likely. Melee! Our Charger destroys the RL on their Commando, our BM destroys the RL on their Rifleman, Our Catapult their Jenner 7F’s LL, our Archer their Centurion’s RL. No Catapult or Wolverine sadly.

They head to their Union, and eject their legs, they only have left 4 mechs – and then they load up and flee, we take down their Union. Can we salvage it? I toss a 3 so nope. We do capture their Mule though.

Turn 1 – We lose this by 2 too at 8-6. Not great. We charge 5. They begin to flank us with Locusts and FS and Wasps. I base their Locust on the left flank with our Hermes II and Wolfhound. They have their PXH base my Hermes II. We base it with our Vulcan and our Jav 10F. Weapons fire – we fire 18 each at their Atlas and BM which are each +2 to hit and then 7-9 hexes away!! Kumi na Tano’s Awesome hit the ammo in their Atlas’s RT, boom, dead mech. We also destroyed the LA and LL. Our Tekau mā Waru’s CRD destroys their BM’s RL and then the RA and LA by that company’s Grasshopper and Wolverine. Melee! Our Hermes II legs their Locust’s RL we drop their PXH.

Turn 2 – We also lose this, 12-9. We charge 5 were possible. Their Stalker moves in, 3 away from 4 of my smash assaults, I base it with 2 Banshees, a BM and Charger. Can I leg it? Their FS bases our Charger’s rear as we move in, and then our 2 Awesomes and a Stalker 3H base it back. They flank us. They rise their PXH and we base it with our Vulcan, Hermes II. Beginning of Contract #89:

Nov 14, 3030 – Arriving at the FWL world of Wing on the border for the LC is our 10th Vee Kappa and 19th Mech Tasnevets! They are ready rock and roll. It’s pretty quiet and non-descript here, we are to raid and destroy a listening post on the world’s moon. No one stops us.

Nov 18, 3030 – We arrive and then begin to get our smash on. We unload, unfurl and scout out our objective with our Leopard CV here 6 fighters and then 2 with our Union. We brought an Invader with Union, Gazelle and then Leopard CV.

We arrive at their Listening Post where they have the garrison on their Moon hiding away, quietly.

Set-up – We win a close one 8-7. They set up their Goliath first, near us. Then their Longbow. Then we set up at the bottom of their north flank, they around us.

Turn 1 – We lose init 9-6. We charge 5 where possible, but our BM, Charger and Banshee base their Goliath that moves but just 4 each and Orion too. They begin flanking us with their Locust, and Wolverine and Commando and Wasp. My non-Grasshopper scouts base their Wolverine to try and leg it. It’s my fave version of that mech. Their Scorpion and Chameleon base my Wolverine’s flank. Our CRD , Grasshopper and Archer base their Chameleon, our Awesome and Stalker base their J. Edgar. Weapons fire!!! We fire mechs at their Longbow and then vees at their Devastator. Our Manticore destroys the turret on their Devastator – dead vee!!! Our Awesome hit the ammo in their Longbow’s RT boom, dead mech! We also destroy its LA. Melee time! We drop their Wolverine but no legs. Our Archer legs their Chameleon’s RL. Our Awesome immobilizes their J. Edgar!!! Our Banshee legs their Goliath’s RLL too.

Turn 2 – We keep on losing init – 6-4. I charge their Archer with our four that legged their Goliath (Banshee, BM, Orion and Charger). They hop their Grasshopper away – no leg chance. Their Wolverine rises and runs, I stay based with our Wolverine, Jav and Wolfhound. Our Awesome and Stalker and CRD base their Drillson. Our Archer and Grasshopper their LRM Carrier. I hope to take them both out. Weapons fire! I fire mechs at their Grasshopper that leapt away and then vees at their Manticore. Our Stalker beheads their Grasshopper! Then our Grasshopper hit the ammo in the RT, so it’s not salvageable. Their Hetzer destroys our Ontos’s front, and our Brutus destroys their Manticore’s front too. Melee! Our Orion destroys their LL on their Archer! Legged! Our Wolfhound legs their RL on their Wolverine!!! Our CRD destroys the side of their Drillson!!! Our Grasshopper destroys the rear on their LRM Carrier!!

They flee and eject from their legged stuff. We took out or legged half of their mechs and then 5 vees.

Beginning of Contract #90:

Dec 03, 3030 - Sip-Sim, Oitavo and Shoondzah arrive for the O Raid by the CC on the FS newly captured border world of Truth they want us to hit hard. We have no issues arriving, is an Invader, Overlord, Leopard CV and then Achilles.

Dec 08, 3030 – We arrive at Truth, and no one hits us, and then we land with our 14 fighters. We arrive at a DropPort near us and scout them with fighters and then verify they are there. Yup, intel was dead on, we are going to smash and hurt them and then destroy as much as possible.

Love the Wolfhounds too. They are regular, on the far side of the map in the south with us on the north in the City Park map.

Here is each of our Wolfhounds, a 3025 debut by the FedSuns light mech weighing 35 tons, with a LL and 4 ML and 10 heat sinks – moving 6/9 and then max armor. Great energy weapons mean they cannot run outta ammo or get into an explosion. Pic?

Set-up – we win easily 11-7. Good craps roll. We set up at the south side of the top section. I can see around 30-40% of their units.

Turn 1 – We lose init 9-4. I charge 5. We can see their good stuff hitting us and then their flankers arrive. I base a Valkyrie on the left flank with our two Spiders and Wolfhound. Their Commando bases the Wolfhound’s flank. We base it with our 2 Vulcans and a Wolverine. Weapons fire – we can see around 65% of their stuff as well as the two units I am firing at – Banshee and Atlas are each 7-8 away and ran +2. I split my fire at each. Sip-Sam’s Catapult’s LRM hits the ammo in their Atlas’s RT. We also destroyed the RA too. Our BM hit’s their Banshee’s CT, and opened it up and hit the engine once. Then that company’s Archer cracked it’s and hit the engine twice more and then the gyro 2 times too with missiles. We also destroyed its RA. Melee! Our Wolverine legs their Commando’s RL and we dropped their Valkyries but no legs.

Turn 2 – They keep init 4-3. Close! I charge 5 where possible. They move their MAD3D in front of our four smashes that can only move 4 to base it with our Sip-Sam four smashes. (Atlas, BattleMaster, Charger, Thunderbolt). They base our TDR’s rear with their jumping Quickdraw, and I base it with fire support mechs not on my front line – 2 Archers,1 CRD and Catapult. They rise their Valkyrie and my Spiders and Wolfhound follow. Their left flank Wolfhound is based by our 2 Vulcans and Wolverine. We base their Shadow Hawk with our Awesome and Longbow. We base their CRD3D with our Banshee 3S, BattleMaster 1G and Charger 15 in Shoondzah. Its Thunderbolt bases their QD too. Weapons fire! I send 12 each at their Longbow, BattleMaster and Goliath. Sip-Sim’s Charger AC20 hit the ammo in their Goliath’s RT boom, dead mech. We also took out a pair of legs too. Our TDR in Oitavo Company’s destroyed their BattleMaster’s H with it’s ML, dead mech!!! Shoondzah’s Archer hit a through hit crit in the RT and hit the ammo, untouched otherwise. Dead mech!!! Melee! Our Spider legs their Valkyrie’s LL. We drop their Wolfhound but no legged. We leg their Quickdraw’s RL by out TDR, legged! Shoondzah’s Longbow legs their RA on their Shadow Hawk goes internal on the RT and it blows up, dead mech!!! Our Charger legs their CRD’s RL. Our Atlas their MAD’s RL destroyed too. They leg our Wolfhound’s RL.

Do they pull out after two rounds? We took out and legged 11 in two rounds. I toss 2D6 and we get 4, they move together and then flee their HQ.

I fix the BM. Do I have a QD LL? Added and fixed. CRD RL?? Got an LL, but not RL, other 65 tonners? Nope!!! I spend that cash!!! The MAD one? No legs at all. Other 75 tonner like Orions? Got it and added!!! War chest is 158,727,687.

Nov 24, 3030 – We spend a few days, fixing, reloading, armoring, and salvaging their stuff. We find in their base 2.5 mill of stuff when sold. We blow up their HQ.

Getting back on Dec 22, 3030 is Sip-Sim, Oitavo and Shoondzah.

Nov 18, 3030 – Arriving at the TFR Border system of Hall for an O. Raid by the FWL is Twanenty-Fower Company. No one hits us. We begin to the planet.

Nov 24 – We arrive at Hall. We unload at a DropPort around 2 hours from what we’ll be hitting and then begin scouting everyone here with our Union fighters.

Twanenty-Fower is our latest company, I doubt you’ll need a reminder.

I want that Spider plus the BM and Awesome too. This is our and their Spider in both units. It weight 30 tons, rocks 2 ML not in the arms so it can punch and lose them and keep on trucking, and then jump the max move on a mech in the 3025 era with 8/12/8 movement and 10 heat sinks and not great armor. Just half of the armor you could add at 3 tons. Just keep them from getting kicked or always move their max to make them rough to answer. Pic:
