August 08, 3029 - END OF WAVE #5 – 9 more systems captured Sarna among them.
Beginning of Wave #6!!! BEGINNING OF THE SAKHALIN CAMPAIGN!! We are assigned Sakhalin for Wave #6. We raided it earlier if you’ll recall. Most of the remaining worlds are being happy to just join the FS over the next door FWL that are constantly raiding them. Many in this world won’t have to fight for themselves but not the wealthy mining planet of Sakhalin. This will be a major battle!!! Aug 08, 3029 – We arrive at the Zenith JumpPoint, not much here, a pair of Invaders with a pair of Achilles and Leopard CVs, and an Overlord with an extra drop ring with the logo of the Kamakura's Hussars we fought before, they have 22 fighters and 4 Aquarii. We handle them, they flee with the Overlord to the planet and we destroyed one each Achilles and Leopard CV, can we salvage them? I toss a 7 and 4 so nope. Battle Loss At the JumpPoint – We took 5 mill in damage lost 8 fighters 4 we can salvage for 2.2 mil and the other 4 with a value of 17,145,682. We killed 11 of theirs and can salvage 5 for 3.65 milll. We salvage at the JumpPoint 5.6 mill Aug 12 – We arrive and another 2 Achilles, three Leopard CVs and then 6 Acquarii and 30 fighters total. We destroyed their 2 Achilles, 1 Leopard the others flee and jump out. We took 4 Aquarius and 16 fighters. Can we salvage any? I toss an 8, 2 and 9 so we got that Leopard CV for 10 mill I spend now. Battle Loss at the Planet – We took 9.5 mill in damage and lost an Aquarius permanently. 14,221,500. We lost 10 fighters, and 5 are salvageable for 4.3 mill. We lost 5 for a total cost of 21,367,121. We can salvage 8 of theirs for 6.6 mill. We find here 9 mill of stuff salvaged We have won the battles and have grabbed air space. We land and are attacked by the Battalion of Kamakura's Hussars at the Port we are landing at... If you’ll recall they are pretty headstrong and crazy. Kamakura's Hussars!!! Here they are again!! We win set up 7-6. Barely. We set up an Atlas centered flank with heavy Assaults like BM, Banshee and Chargers each on the flank. They set up around me in a giant circle.
Turn 1 – We lose init 7-9. We charge 5, they flank with that Spider and a Locust. A Vulcan 5T bases their Locust. We split 18 mechs each at their Victor and charger to take out both veteran assault AC20s. On the first salvo, our BM from Unsprezece’s company got a through armor crit on the Victor’s ammo, boom, dead mech!!! Well, I just wasted 17 shots! We destroyed it’s RA and LL, LT too. Our Ju Ni’s Catapult destroys their Charger’s RL and the Archer it’s RT, RA on the ground. It falls and hits the hip on their LL. Nasty. No falls. Melee! Our Victor misses. Turn 2 -We grab init this time 7-4. We’ve rolled 7 every time! We charge 5, and our Atlas bases their Hunchback and a Banshee and Charger too but we walked four, not five, they did that smartly. They base our Stalker’s flank with a Wasp. Our TBolt and CRD 3D from Ju Ni base their Javelin. Our Vulcan jumps out at their Locust. Their Spider bases the flank of my TBolt and then our Grasshopper bases it. Weapons! I split 18 each at their Banshee and Longbow. Our Atlas’s AC20 hits the head in their Banshee, dead mech and warrior and that’ll annoy them. We also destroy its LA and LT. Unsprezece’s Archer opens their Longbow’s CT and hits the gyro once. Then that company’s Javelin 10F finish off it’s wounded LT, LA on the ground. Ju Ni’s Trebuchet hits it’s gyro and engine two and three more times, both shut down. Dead mech!!! They savage our Atlas and destroys it’s RA, but no falls. We kick and our Charger legs the Hunchback’s LL, it’s down. Our Tbolt legs their Javelin ‘s RL, it’s down. Our Hopper kicks the Spider but it was a glancing blow, ,and hit two legs and it falls but survived. We miss the Locust leg again. They need to turn this around now. Turn 3 - We lose init 8-7 7 EVERY time baby!!! We charge 5 where possible, but rare. I eject our Atlas. No cheap kills. I base their Goliath and Stalker with three assaults each. They base my Archer’s flank with a Wasp and our Crusader with a Locust. Their Spider rises and then runs away. I base it with my Vulcan 5T and my Spider too. Then I base their Locust with our Wolverine after it flanks me. Our Archer and 2 Tbolts base an Urbie. Do I try to bring down their Goliath and Stalker or three heavies? I go after their Archer, Orion and TBolt. Deitch’s Striker hits the ammo on their Archer, dead mech, sad. Unsprezece’s Awesome destroys their Orion’s RA. It’s Catapult hits the H and then goes internal and smashes the cockpit and sensors once too, dead pilot. We also hit a hip in the RL too. Ju ni’s Stalker destroys their TBolt’s LA. Then the LT is destroyed by our Grasshopper there, and it survives. Melee! Their Goliath and Stalker fall but survive. Our Archer destroys their Urbie’s leg, and a TBolt too it’s the ammo and it explodes. Our Vulcan 5T legs their Spider’s RL on the ground. With us taking out or legging 10 of their meches in three rounds , they eject and pull out! Salvage: Charger 1A5 missing RL, RT; see below Banshee 3E missing H, LL, LT; current value – 7,930,85 - to fix 1.6 mill Longbow 7Q – missing LT, 3 each gyro and engine hits. We got both Charger 1A5 parts in storage, added! I spend 2.6 mill to fix and make the Banshee a 3S. Added!!! Longbow? I fix the gyro in three days and the engine in 10. LT? No parts from that chassis, other 85 tonners the BM and Stalker? Got a Stalker one! It works, added!!! Hunch leg? We got a Hunchy LL! Added. Javelin? No Jav parts, the other of it’s weight? I use an Urbie it works, added! We fix the Orion cockpit today, sensors in a few hours and leg stuff tomorrow. Do I have an RA? Got it from an Orion too! Added! Spider RL? None in that chassis, other 30s like Urbies or Valkyries? I am out of RLs for 30 tonners. I spend the 350k to fix. Added! Victor – LA, H, RL, Archer – RA, LA, H, RL UrbanMech – H, LA, RA, Us: Atlas missing RA. Battle Loss – We spend 800k to fix. I spent total 3,750,000 – war chest is now 366,895,109 They don’t surrender when we chase them. They break into Lances and scatter hard with the loss today and then the loss of their XO’s life and CO’s mech. |
August 13, 3029 - We find a lance of theirs heading to a local depot for supplies. We have a lance on patrol nearby and head to them.
They are: Goliath – veteran Vindicator Blackjack Wasp 1L We have here our fire support lance from Arba Company: CLPT-1C Catapult STC-2C Striker WTH-1 Whitworth Longbow LGB-7Q Ouch with two assaults on our side. We are on a plains map they are in the middle, us the south. This is their medium mech a BJ: ![]() It’s a long range mech with 4/6/4 movement, then two AC2 and then 4 ML with 136 armor and 11 heat sinks. |
We win set up 8-5. I set up in the northern part. They are in the woods.
Turn 1 – I lose init 8-11. I charge 5. Our Cat bases their BJ. Their Goliath emerges and bases our Cat. Our WW bases their Wasp. Their Vindicator our WW. I fire at that Goliath if I can see it. We pepper their Goliath and it stays standing. Melee! Will their Goliath return the favor and drop our Catapult? They connect but it’s standing. Our WW destroys the Wasp’s RL. Turn 2 - We win init 5-2. Sorry. Their Wasp tried to stand, fell, and then blacked out! Their Vindicator remains next to my WW. Their BJ bases my Longbow’s flank. Our Striker bases it. Their Goliath bases our Striker and WW. My Catapult their BJ. We pepper their Goliath more. Melle! Can I leg the BJ? Our Striker destroys it’s LL, so yes, it’s legged and falls. With two mechs legged and then the Goliath internal in two torsos, they flee and don’t grab the supplies. Salvage: Wasp 1L missing RL - blacked out - pilot. Current value is 1,456,720 – to fix 200k. Blackjack - missing LL. See below. We capture their Wasp pilot and turn them over it to the Fed Suns for interrogation. Do I have a Wasp RL? Nope! The Blackjack left one? Aug 15, 3029 – Our scouting lance finds one of theirs and hits them hard.

We lose set up 9-7. I set up at the top of the southern edge. They set up in woods.
Turn 1 – We thump them init 12-8. Should my Wolverine base their Urban mech they moved first? Then their MAD could base it. I wait a turn and then they move their Vindicator next to it, I base it with my Grasshopper. They back up the MAD my Wolverines bases their VND and Urbie. Spider next to their Urbie too, who should I shoot at? The MAD3L. We cannot see it behind the woods, the VND. We destroy it’s RT with our Spider, RA on the ground and then the hip is hit on it’s RL by our Wolverine, it falls. Melee! Our Spider destroys their Urbie’s RL! Our Hopper hit the LRM5 on their Vindicator. Turn 2 – We thump them again 9-5. They eject the weaponless Vindicator. They turn their Urban since it does have weapons. Our Wolverine bases their Stinger. Our Hopper their MAD’s rear. I fire at the MAD! Their MAD Bases my Wolverine by waiting last. We pepper it. Our Wolverine destroys their Stinger’s RL. Down! With three legs or weaponless mechs, their MAD withdraws. Salvage: UrbanMech with a destroyed RL; current value of 1.27 to fix 210k Vindicator – missing RT, hit LRM 5 and hip – ejected; see below Stinger 3G – missing RL; see below. Do we have an Urban RL? Nope! Added. We fix the Vindicator’s hip and LRm 5 in hours. RT? None in that chassis, other 45 tonners? Those are BJs and PXhs and I got a BJ one!!! Added. Stinger RL? Got one in that Chassis! Added!! Aug 18, 3029 – They are getting the bad shake of things, we see a power lance moving to a new location. We send out the power lance of Khamésh Company: Atlas AS7-D Orion ONI-iK BattleMaster 1S Banshee 3S Against theirs: Stalker – veteran - CO Thunderbolt Vindicator UrbanMech We want that Thunderbolt and the Stalker would be good too. We savaged that TDR once but they must have fixed it up with spares. Here is their Stalker a very common assault: ![]() 85 tons, 20 sinks, 3/5 movement, 2 LL, 2 LRM10s, 2 SRM6, 4 ML, 2 MG. You can close or long range support with 216 armor, the only issue is that ammo in the hand. They are in the middle us in the bottom. |
We win init by the biggest possible margin at 12-2. I set up at the north.
Turn 1 – We lose init 8-3. I charge 5. Their VND bases our Atlas’s flank, our Orion their Stalker’s flank and their TBolt it. I fire at their TBolt. We savage it and hit the gyro once and it falls. No falls after melee. Turn 2 - We win init 9-6. Their TBolt flees into woods and rises. Our Orion bases it’s flank. Their Stalker bases my BM but Orion’s flank to do so. Our Banshee bases them both. Our Atlas in their VND’s rear. I fire at their TBolt. Our Banshee destroys it’s LA. Our BM hits the gyro once more and engine three times – down twice!!! Melee! Our BM kicks their Stalker and gets a limb blown off on the ground. They have lost a Thunderbolt and a Stalker missing their LL. They flee. Salvage: Thunderbolt missing LA, 2 gyro 3 engine hits. See below. Stalker – LL reattach We fix the TDR gyro on the 4th try and the engine on the 6 and final. 16 days total. Then do we have a LA? I got no arms in Thunderbolt chassis, over 65 tonners? This is Catapults, Crusaders, JagerMechs, and that’s it. Got a JM one and it works, added, ditto the Stalker!!! Aug 22, 3029 – We come across a fire support lance moving around and send a fire support one to hit them from Oitavo nearby. Here it is: Awesome 8Q ARC2S Archer Crusader 3D Trebuchet 5N Check that out!!! Here they are: Goliath – veteran – CO now. Marauder 3L Trebuchet Locust That Goliath is their last assault and leader. If we can take it out? They start in the center us in the south. This is each of our Trebuchet a 50 ton medium with 2 LRM15s, 3 ML, and 5/8 movement, 120 armor and 10 sinks. ![]() |

I fire at their Goliath, not because I want it, but because it’s the final major threat on the planet. We pepper their Goliath lightly. Kicks! We kick their MAD Down but hit different legs. Turn 2 – We keep init 12-4. Sorry. Our CRD bases their TBT. Their MAD doesn’t stand. Our Archer bases their TBT too. Their Goliath bases my CRD’s flank, my Awesome bases it’s rear. I fire at their Goliath again. Our Awesome’s PPC lasers into it’s H and hits the sensors. Our TBT hits it with an LRm 15, dead mech and pilot and leader!!! Good job Hoa-Xinh Liu!!! Melee! Can we leg that TBT too? Nope we hit each leg once. It falls though. Their MAD and TBT rose and fled! Salvage: Goliath missing H; see below Do we have one? This is a quad so only that works. Got it, added!!!! August 22, 3029 – They pack up and flee the planet in thier Overlord. They haven’t won a battle, and have lost all 6 Assaults and all of their various leaders. They don’t surrender. They try to run our noose. We deploy. About 15 fighters surprise us and convey them out successfully. Battle Loss – We lost 4 fighters, 2 permanently at 11,602,530 two we can salvage at 1.2 mill. We took out 12 of theirs, can salvage 6 for 3.25 mill. We have captured Sakhalin!!!! EVENT, October, 27, 3029 – Flavia and Stephen Marsh give birth to their fifth child and boy. She’ll be missing the next battle. They name him Allen Marsh.

This is a smaller state from the CC that was run by the more sane daughter of the CC Candance Liao and her husband Justian Xiang a Davion spy form the breakaway state from the St. Ives Commonality that she ruled. In order to survive it allies with the Fed Suns just like the Free Rasalhague Republic. EVENT, November 16, 3029 – For the day the Suns reserves as Thanksgiving, Hanse Davion and his new wife Melissa Steiner announce she is pregnant! The new realm their kid will inherit is known as the “Federated Commonwealth” Nov 22, 3029 – The 6th Wave of Operation Rat of the 4th Succession War finishes! They captured another 6 worlds including ours at Sakhalin which was one of the biggest battles in the wave. Nov 23, 3029 – The 7th Wave in Operation Rat of the 4th Succession War Begins! All of the remaining planets targeted in the final wave as things are winding down are ones with secret agreements with the Fed Suns to join them rather than the dissolution of the CC or join the FWL by force. They won’t need much to take and then less to garrison. Targeted in this final wave are the planets of the Sarna Commonality left. They are heading out there fast to grab as many worlds as possible. • Secure Sarna and Tsinghai, where fighting continued • Complete negotiations with Sarna Commonality worlds We are sent to go take out Tsinghai where the only planet left with a mech force. We also raided this world too so we know it. Tsinghai was often raided by the Marik folks, and that hurt its economic value. It’s got good mining though. However, it’s military value for raids and on the border cannot be denied, so here on the border is a battalion of 5th Confederation Reserve Cavalry and the 1st Battalion of Preston's Lancers. Nasty strong stuff. We raided the 5th Confederation Reserve Cavalry. Who are veteran. Arriving with us are the merc unit the 12th Vegan Rangers with Gamma and Delta Regiments of two mechs. In the press for maximizing their gains, and knowing from our raids here they are there, this is the last Sarna Commonality world with a Mech defense other than Sarna proper. Therefore we are leading this since we have actual on-the-ground knowledge of their defenses and world. The 12th is taking their orders from us. We are going in hard since we weren’t able to get big plans and with the ComStar Interdiction still in place. Dec 4, 3029 – We arrive at the Zenith JumpPoint of Tsinghai with a Recharging Station. Here is a huge flotilla, like before only twice as large: 4 Achilles 4 Leopard CVs A Random Avenger 12 Aquarius 32 Fighters We have way more but you can see that as more and more systems are taken, the better this’s defense has become. They are taking this world and it’s military value and the vfact it still has good unis to protect seriously We take them out, with our like billion Achilles, Aquarius and Leopards. We took out 3 Achilles, the other fled to the planet, the random Avenger and then two Leopard CVs the rest fled out with the Achilles. Any of them salvageable? We salvage an Achilles with a 10, then the others are 6 and 8. Then we salvage the Avenger with a – 9 and then one Leopard CV with an 11 and then the other a 7. We can salvage the Achilles for 12 mill, the Avenger for 9 mill and the CV for 10 mill – I rolled badly for those. (2d6 mill in damage). Total spent is 31 mill, I pay it now. War Chest is 335,895,109. Battle Loss at the Zenith JumpPoint – We took 5 mill in damage. We lost 20 Fighters, 10 can be salvaged for 6.6 mill. The other 10 for around 42 mill. I lost two Aquarius, one salvageable for 1.25 mill the other lost for 14,221,500, they lost 24 fighters and 12 were salvageable for 5.4 mill. We salvage three of their Aquarius for 2.25 mill We salvaged here from the destroyed stuff inc. ours 14 mill. We have secured the JumpPoint. Dec 8, 3029 – We arrive at the planet!!! They are meeting us in force whereas previously they let us in on our previous trip to Tsinghai. They meet us in flame and fire as we arrive at their homebase. Here they are: 5 Achilles 5 Leopard CV 60 fighters 2 Overlords 1 normal Leopard 3 Intruder 16 Aquarius That’s a real fleet! We have 9 Achilles after salvaging theirs, a quintet of Avengers, an epic number of Leopards, a Fortress, a ton of Aquarii, 18 from just our Jumps, and then each Achilles has 2 and then around 100 fighters after salvaging theirs. 2 Intruders, 3 Overlords, We destroy them heavily! We destroyed three Achilles, 2 Leopard CVs, 40 fighters, an Intruder, normal Leopard and 10 Aquarius. They fled with the troops ones to their planet and fighter carriers and then other stuff to the Zenith JumpPoint to jump out. I toss a 4, 12 and 5 for Achilles, we grabbed one, and then 2 and then 5 for Leopards none of them, and then for the Intruder a 9, grabbed it, and then 8 for the normal Leopard! I spend 17 mill total to repair them for a war chest dropped to 318,895,109. Battle Loss at Tsinghai – We took 14 mill in damage. We lost 36 fighters, 18 can be salvaged for 10.25 mill and the rest lost for around 57.5 mill. Then we lost an Achilles. Can we fix? Nope we toss a 6, yes. That’ll be a battle loss of 530,719,200. Then we lost 8 Aquarius, four can be salvaged for 3.65 mill and the others lost for 56,886,000. They lost 40 fighters and we can salvage 20 for 16.1 mill and then they lost 8 Aquarius and we salvage 4 for 4.2 mill . We find here at the battle site around 18 mill in salvage, We have secured the planet and gained Air Superiority for the campaign!!! |
Beginning of the Tsinghai Campaign:
Dec 8, 3029 - We are going to send out two attacks with a different target each supported by a regiment of mechs from the 12th Vegan for backup. First to face us are the veteran 5th Confederation Reserve Cavalry. We unload and follow them with our elite high profile units. We know of valley near here we send a mixed battalion of mechs and vees to on each side and then chase them into it with our fighters and an elite company and vees, then in front to keep them from fleeing are two companies of units too. They are fleeing us massively and take the bait!!! We have behind them chasing them here Deich and then Vee Company #6. Then to their left flank up the hill is Ju Ni Company and Vee #7. Then on their right flank firing down is Unsprezece Mechs and Vee Company #5! In front are Khamésh Company and Vee #4. That’s 96 units on 36. So, here they are!!! 5th Confederation Reserve Cavalry!!! Some changes happened after we savaged them. Assault: Awesome - elite BattleMaster – BLR-1G – elite – nasty if I get that mech I earned it! This is their CO. Charger 1A5 - elite Stalker – elite – this is their XO Victor 9B – elite Zeus ZEU6A elite Would love that Awesome, B Master and Charger. Heavy: Archer 2R Cataphract Catapult Marauder MAD3L Orion1K Thunderbolt 5S Warhammer 6L Yay for that Catapult, TDR, Orion and Archer. Medium: Assassin 21 Centurion Griffin Hunchback Scorpion Shadow Hawk Trebuchet 3 Vindicator Whitworth Wolverine 6R Love that TBT, HBack and Wolverine. Now in order to keep myself from going crazy and simming this for hours and days of real time, I am going to do this one round at a time with my dice and tell you what happens in a similar manner. Set up – We lose set up 11-3. Each off by one from tops or bottom. We flank them on each direction with a mech and vee and then them in the middle with my stuff in front of heavy armor and smashing.
Turn 1 – They keep init 8-6. We charge 5 on all sides. They flank Khamésh’s position with their Jav and SHD. I base the SHD’s flank with our Stalker 3H. That’s the 20 LRM one no LL. They base our flank back with their VND. I move my Atlas only 4 to base their MAD3L. We fire 24 units each at the BM and Awesome and Charger, and then Orion. Hopefully that’s be enough to take them out without blowing them off the map. On their first attack salvo from their Whitworth they hit our LRM ammo in the missile boat in Unsprezece’s Catapult in a through armor crit, dead mech. Cannot salvage. They get first blood. Hopefully we can salvage theirs. Our Awesome’s PPC smashes into their Charger’s RA and destroys it. Our Ontos’s ML destroys it’s RL, it’s legged and then RT when damage transfers. Their BM destroys our Brutus’s front side. Their Jav halves the movement of our Schrek but it’s got plenty of armor left. Deitch’s BattleMaster hits the cockpit on their Awesome’s H with an SRM, dead Mech and MechWarrior. We also destroy it’s LT, LA on the ground. Ju Ni’s Trebuchet pilot hit the ammo in the Orion, it explodes, dead mech! Sad. We also destroyed it’s RA and LT. Unsprezece’s Grasshopper hit the gyro once and engine twice in their BM. That company’s Vulcan’s 5T hit them each once each more, dead mech X2. Our Vee’s destroys it’s RA and LA too. One Banshee and Charger 1A5 of ours fall. Melee! Our Atlas misses. Our Stalker didn’t and hit, went internal, and then hit the SHD’s hip and dropped it to the ground. Turn 2 – We wrest init away 9-5. They move everyone towards Khamésh’s spot. Are they trying to break out that way? Banshee and Charger stand, and we base their MAD 3L with four Assaults. Their TBT based by our two Hoppers and a Wolverine. Their Wolverine Behind our Javelin 10F. Their VND base the flank of my Trebuchet on an Hunter. Our Atlas bases their Locust. I eject my Shreck. We base their Hunchback with three missile boat heavies and an Awesome. I aim 18 units at their Victor, Thunderbolt, 24 at their Stalker, 18 at their Archer and Catapult. Let’s just sandblast their better units this turn off the map. Khamésh’s Banshee hit the ammo in the RA of their Stalker after our Atlas hit it with it’s AC20 there. It explodes, dead mech on the 4th shot at it. Their Javelin immobilizes our Demolisher. Ju Ni’s Stalker destroys their Archer’s LL Our Vee Company it’s RL, double legged! And the RA too. Their Hunchback’s AC20 hits and destroys the RT of our Charger 1A5. Deitch’s Archer destroys the Thunderbolt’s RL and RA. Legged! Our Devastator’s AC20 destroy the LA too. Unsprezece’s Awesome destroys the CT of their Catapult, dead mech. No salvage. Most of it survived just the RA was destroyed. Their Victor was barely hurt. It survived! They have always tossed an 8. They don’t eject the Cataphract. I charge 5 where possible. Our GLT leaps into the heavy woods their Atlas was in. They eject the Urbie with no weapons. Their Archer moves and bases the GLT We base their Archer with our Atlas, TDr and their Banshee bases our TBT. Our Archer bases their Grasshopper. Our Awesome bases their Banshee. Our Griffin to the rear of their Archer. Our Vulcan bases their Banshee’s flank. Our Jav next to their Wasp 1L. Our Spider by their Archer. I want to fire at their Hopper if I can see it and then try to leg their Archer. They will likely be fleeing this turn and I don’t want to waste firing at their Banshee. Beginning of Contract #51:
Feb 18, 3030 – We arrive in the new CC Border system of Ingersoll. We are at the Zenith JumpPoint which has a recharging station and their defenses. This is now around a month after the war ended and this planet is a brand new border for the FS and they are rotating in stuff. Here at the Zenith is a pair of Invaders and then a rarer Vengeance, two Achilles 2 Intruders and a random Avenger. They see us arrive and then unfurl their stuff and head our way. Their stuff: One Vengeance - As a reminder a Vengeance has 40 fighters. 2 Achilles with 2 fighters and 2 Aquarius each 2 Intruders with 2 fighters each 1 Avenger Total – 48 fighters, and then 8 Aquarius from their Invaders Us: We’ve got six Leopard CV here with 36 fighters and then 8 Achilles with 16 of each. So that’s a ton of fighters they have, but fewer capital ships to focus on plus 2 fighters from our Union, and Intruders too. I want that Vengeance! We’ve also got 22 Aquarius I focus on the escort of the Avenger around their Vengeance while they keep it save. Their Achilles move to attack us with Intruders to their flanks. Then I smash hammer the Achilles an Intruder and then their Avenger after taking out half of their fighters and 5 Aquarius the Vengeance takes a couple oof salvos while loading up fighters, they stop and escort it back…we follow as the others flee to their JumpShips, can I take out the Vengeance? With it’s 48 tons of armor, it’s not as easy to crack as a Leopard CV. Here’s my rule…if I can toss a it’s down….tossed an 8 it’s fine and escapes. The JumpShip jumps away, and then we have secured the Zenith JumpPoint Can we salvage the Intruder or Achilles or Avenger? I toss a 10, 5 and 8 We added another Intruder! It costs me 10 mill. Spent! Battle Loss at JumpPoint – We took 8 mill in damages, lost 24 fighters, 12 gone permanently for a cost of 50 mill and then we can salvage 12 for 6.65 mill. Then they lost 24 fighters to, we can salvage 12 for 5.14 mill. We lost 3 Aquarius, 2 permanently for a combined loss of 28,443,000 and then can salvage the last one for 850k We find here in the battle around 7 mill. Feb 24, 3030 - We arrive at the planet of Ingersoll! There’s nothing major here stopping us, they fled off system not here to defend it! It’s a quiet little world with not much here to defend. We land at the DropPort around a half day from their base with Vee #7 and Deitch and our fighters scout them out, we find them and some conventional fighters are attacking back. We saw they were as expected...mostly. Here are the Ingersoll Defenders!!! Mechs: Longbow -7Q – veteran – CO – yay! Love it much!!! Stalker – veteran - XO Catapult – yay too! They have three infantry we were expecting, one of each type. Then they have 4 Warrior VTOLS too not expected. We are on a Desert Map and then they are in the middle and us in the south flank. This is our Rhino Support Vee my favorite ranged tank with 80 tons, a massive 272 armor much better than the Schrek, 2 LRM20, one LRM10, and then 2 ML and then 3/5 movement. ![]() |
Setup - We win by one 10-9. They showed up. I set up an Atlas on top of Demolisher and Devastator and such.
Turn 1 – We lose init 9-8 also close by one. I charge 5 where possible. Their Pegasus and Locust flank us. I base their Pegasus with our Wolfhound. I base their Longbow with our Atlas and BM. Our Banshee bases their Demolisher under their Centurion. Their Vedette to our rear Banshee. Our Stalker bases their Catapult that leapt into woods. Our Striker bases it’s flank no kicks back they base it’s flank with their QD jumps. We base their Pegasus with our Spider and then as the last act they move their Raven on top to help protect it. For weapons, do I fire at their Longbow or vees and try to leg it with kicks. I spend a company each at their Demolisher and 6 at their LRM Carrier and 6 at that lightly armored AC Carrier since I doubt just 6 could end a Schrek or Ontos. Our Catapult destroys the front of their Demolisher Our Ontos destroys their LRM Carrier’s front Our Manticore destroys their AC2 Carrier’s side Their Von Luckner destroys the front of our Ontos with two AC20 shots hitting the front Melee! At Atlas and BM connect hit the same leg and it falls. Our Striker and Stalker hit the Catapult but different legs, it also falls. Our Banshee drops their Centurion to the ground Their Pegasus hit by our Wolfhound but missed by our Spider and reduces the speed ones Well we swapped one tank for three but an AC Carrier and LRM Carrier aren’t really big numbers in the game swings. Turn 2 – We grab init by one 8-7 Each time it’s dropped by one and won by one. Will they win next round 7-6? They rise the Longbow but don’t move it, I stay at it with our Atlas and BM and I also base it with our Banshee too and leap a Hopper to its flank, no kicks back. Their Centurion rises and runs away. We base their Catapult after it rises and runs later with our Striker and Stalker and then also base it with our Catapult in it’s flank and TDR front too. We base their Pegasus with our Spider and Wolfhound and their Saracen to our Wolfhound’s rear. Their Stalker bases my Archer. We split fire 8 at their Ontos and then 16 on their VL. Our Catapult also kills their Ontos’s turret, dead tank! That’s Leslie LePorte’s 4th kill Our Maxim destroys the Von Luckner’s front!!!! Our Brutus is destroyed by their Von Luckner Their Jav immobilizes our Schrek PPC Carrier. Melee! Our Atlas and Banshee both hit the Longbow in the same place it was damage before and destroys it, RL on the ground Our Stalker destroys their Catapults RL too. It falls. Our Wolfhound halves the movement on their Pegasus They lost that turn just a VL and Ontos and legged two mechs and then they destroyed our Brutus and immobilized our Schrek. They flee. Jan 13, 3030 – We arrive at the FWL World of Berenson Nadir JumpPoint. We have taken our Sherpa Cargo stuff and Industrial Cargo Mechs. We have no one here attacking us since we are at the FWL we shouldn’t. Jan 19, 3030 – We land at the city by their base we need to extract for the Tikonov Free Republic. We unload and our scouts show they are a company of mechs as expected! We are raiding a supply depot on the border to give the TFR materiel to build after the war. Out comes Sip-sam company to handle them! We also have TFR infantry and such to load up and take out. Melee, can we leg their Archer or Catapult? Our Charger legs the Catapult’s RL it’s down! Their Archer has left 5 internal on a leg and it falls. No other falls. Our Jav hit it’s hip. Turn 2 – We keep init 8-5. Their Catapult doesn’t pull out. They do eject their Archer!!! Our BM bases their Wolverine. Our Catapult their FS. Their MAD stood still. Our Hopper by their Locust. Their Victor hopped behind woods to the left. Our TDR bases it. If I can see their Victor I fire at it. Otherwise their Wolverine to soften it up for kicks. Our Charger destroys their Victor’s RA. Our Wolverine it’s RL and it falls. Legged! It’s pilot blacked out when it fell. Their Wolverine ate some damage and fell, sad. No legs there. Hand to hand!!! Our Hopper legs their Locust, and it’ destroyed the RT too RA on the ground. They get their flee on and eject from the Catapult and Locust. We capture their base!!! We take out the Avenger and I toss an 8 and don’t bring it in. The Leopard too, and then we get a 7 and don’t bring it in, but they flee with the Union to the planet, we capture their Invader that wasn’t able to jump out yet. Battle Loss – We took 9 mill in damage and lost 4 fighters, 2 permanently for a cost of 11,602,530; we salvage 2 for 1.16 mill and then grabbed four of theirs for 1.95 mill. Turn 1 – We barely win init 7-6. Take it! Their Stalker charges us. Our BM bases it. Their TDR bases my BM’s flank, our Atlas and Awesome base the TDR. Our CRD bases it too. Our GLT bases their Trebuchet. Our Spider grabs heavy woods. Our Jav bases their Jenner but they moved their Shadow Hawk over to base it and my Spider too. Their Cyclops bases our Awesome’s flank. Should my TDR base it? Yup! Should I am for their Stalker or Cyclops? I don’t have a pair of AC20s like with last battle, so I go for the lighter armored Cyclops. It’s not what I want to bring in but it makes tactical sense to pull their AC20 off the battlefield. Some mechs cannot reach it like our BM too far away. Feb 07, 3030 – We blast out of the system. We arrive in the next Pirate HQ according to Canopus Intel. We arrive at the Zenith where they are supposed to be and there here is Invader. But… Here is what is here: 1 Leopard CV with 6 fighters 1 Achilles with 2 fighters and 2 small craft 1 Union – with 12 mechs and then 2 fighters They have 10 fighters and 4 Aquarius, 2 each from the Invader and Achilles. 1 empty drop ring. This was supposed to be an Avenger, intel is wrong. Looks like a trap. Here’s what we STARTED…with: 1 Leopard CV 1 Union 1 Achilles 10 fighters and 4 Aquarii Exactly the same. But, we now have another Gazelle, Leopard CV and Union. We’ve lost in battles 4 fighters, but gained 8 from our foes but they probably didn’t know that. They aren’t working together with the other Pirate Groups. They unfurl at us and move to hit us, we are closer than I like but up 4 fighters and three Drops just help well. We win, and they lose their Leopard CV with 4 fighters and then the Achilles and their Union retreats. Do we get that Achilles or Leopard CV? I toss a 10 and 7, so yes to the Achilles! I spend to recover it 5 mill spent now. Their JS flees. Our Canopus liaison orders up a third JumpShip to take our Achilles home. Feb 19, 3030 - We spend a couple of days salvaging their base and find a fine 1.8 mill. We then rearm, repair and rearmor and then blast off. The Magistracy of Canopus has a 4th place ready for us just two jumps away.

Their Orion moves my BM and CRD base it. Our TDR to their QD’s rear. I fire everyone at their Orion if they can see it. I go overheat too. Our Atlas and Banshee cannot see it in woods or their Charger either. I fire at their TBT. Our Banshee hits the LRM ammo on their TBT and it blows up! Our first KO. Our Wolverine hits the ammo in their Orion – boo, dead mech insert sad face there. Melee! Can we take down the Rifleman or QD leg? Our TDR destroys their QD’s RL on the ground! Their Rifleman ate more damage and didn’t even fall. With just a Charger healthy left and they haven’t even dropped one of our dorks to the ground, they eject from the legged mechs and flee!!! Set up – We lose the worst possible 12-2. I set up on the northern flank of my southern side and then have big tanks under big mechs. They are in a circle around us,
Turn 1 – They keep init but it has to be closer – 9-4 – doesn’t feel it though. I charge 5 where possible. Their Manticore moves four in front of my Atlas I move it in but cannot get +2. Our Banshee and TDR also base it, and their Jav bases the flank of my Striker. Our Wolfhound bases it back! Their Maxim in their Jav’s spot. We send our Mechs at their Longbow and our tanks split 6 and 6 at their Schrek and SRM Carrier to take out their massive stuff. Our BM’s PPC shears off the head of their Longbow, dead mech! Our Archer hits the ammo in the LT and it ignites- dead twice. Insert sad face here. Our Schrek destroys their SRM Carrier’s front! Their Shrek is destroyed by our Manticore! Melee! Our TDR destroys their Manticore’s left side. Our Wolfhound kicks their Jav to the ground. Turn 2 – They keep init and it gets worse – 9-2 – Nasty. We move to them. They stand the Jav and run. Their Grasshopper leapt to our rear Demolisher and Atlas. We base it with a Stalker, Striker and Catapult. They base our Catapult’s flank with their PXH. Our Spider and Wolfhound base their Jav. Our Banshee and BM base their Hunter. Our Hopper their Harasser. We fire at their SturmFuer and VL with a company each. Our Wolverine destroys their SturmFeur’s front, dead tank! Our Ontos destroys the VL’s turret – dead tank!!! Melee! Our Hopper kicks and Kos the rear of their Harasser. We double kick the Jav to the ground but hit different legs. Their Hopper destroys our savaged rear armor on our Demolisher. However our Striker legs the Hopper back with a destroyed LL. Our BM destroys the Hunter’s front, dead tank. In just two turns we took out and legged two mechs, killed their CO, dropped their lucky Jav to the ground, took out 7 vees! They flee. They load up into a Leopard and Gazelle and head to the JumpPoint. We take them both out, any salvageable? I toss a 5 for the Leopard and 9 for the Gazelle! Captured! It costs me 6 mill. Spent! Battle Loss – We took a minor 6 mill in battle damage and lost two fighters one salvageable for 650k and one lost fighter for 1,684,232. Mar 27, 3030 – We arrive at the world and land at the area outside of the company extract raid and then hit and smash them. We unload and then our fighters verify that they are the garrison of mercs we expected. Turn 1 – We win this more convincingly 10-6. Their Victor charges me. Do I base it with m y BM or try to leg the Striker and wait until it moves? Our Charger bases it and their CNT too. Their MAD bases my Banshee’s flank. Our Awesome bases it. I go ahead and base their Victor. Our Hermes bases their MAD’s flank our Catapult bases it too. Their Striker moves and bases my Awesome’s flank. Our TDR bases it’s flank and Grasshopper it’s rear and Wolverine it’s flank too. Their Vulcan and Jav fled behind woods. What do I fire at? Their Victor or try to leg it and their Striker instead or try to leg both by next round and then attack their Dragon/MAD/or Rifleman instead? I am based to their MAD with my Awesome and Cat and Hermes 2 so that’s less needed too. Hmmm. I wish their Dragon were in LOS. I fire at their Victor let’s take that AC20 off the field even if I blow it up. Our Bm hit the ammo in the Victor on the 2nd mech to fire at it and it explodes. Dead mech!!! Melee! All three we kick fall. Our Hermies II hit a leg actuator in their MAD and the hip hit in their Striker by our Wolverine. It blacks out in the fall but only took 1 damage and failed a 2. They keep pushing. Turn 2 – We keep init barely 6-5 again. Do I try and leg or head hit their CO or go for other units on the battlefield. Our Banshee moves 4 and bases their ENF. Their Jav10F bases it’s flank, I base it with my Awesome, their MAD rises. Do I base it with my Cat to try and leg it or leap over and base the Jav to have a 2nd shot on it? I leap over and base it. Basing their MAD is my Archer. Our BM Bases their Enforcer too. Our Grasshopper their MAD’s rear. Our Charger their Valkyrie. Our Hermes II their Vulcan. Their CNT rises and bases my Catapult’s rear my TDR and Wolverine base it. I fire at their Dragon that moved in. it’s +1 for movement but at long range around 7-6 or so for medium range stuff. I go overheat. I fire some at the Striker’s LL. Our Hopper destroys said leg, it’s legged! Our Awesome’s PPC smashes off the H of their Dragon, it’s down and dead. Sorry. Their Vulcan wasn’t touched at all from my nearby scouts to soften it up. No falls. Melee!! Our BM destroys the LL of their Enforcer. Their Valkyrie, Vulcan 5T and Jav survive big kicks, sad. Set up – We barely lose 6-5. We set up my Atlas flank and then under it our Behemoth and then our Demolisher and such too. They set up in the middle of the Base. Remember this base has a narrow channel that blocks LOS.
Turn 1 – We also lose by one 7—6. We each rose one. We charge five, their Patton gets in front of our Banshee’s and it bases them but moves just 3 and then our walkers of Awesome and BM base it too with 4 move on the sides. I base their Orion with my Atlas and Hunchback. Their Wolverine bases our Hunchback’s flank and now open I base it with our Crusader and JagerMech. And Hopper too, then their Demolisher moves into that spot. Their Stalker bases my Archer. We finish and then I fire 12 mechs and 6 vees at their Atlas and then another 6 vees at their SRM Carrier. I need to take down the Atlas!!! Our Awesome shears off the head, dead mech! Then our Grasshopper destroys it’s RL and our Demolisher it’s CT, dead again. Our Von Lucker destroys their Carrier’s front. They half my Behemoth’s speed. Melee!!! Our Atlas drops their Orion but it’s not legged. Our BM destroys the Patton’s side. Down! Our CRD and JM crack the Wolverine in the same leg and hit the hip and lower leg and falls. Their Stalker drops our Archer to the ground. Turn 2 - We also lose by one 9-8. Weird. Not 8-7 though. We rise and backup our Archer. I eject my Behemoth, they base our Archer with their Stalker and Merlin they rise their Orion and retreat. I keep it based with my Atlas and Hunch. Our BM, Banshee and Awesome base their MAD3M. Their Wolverine rises and flees and my Grasshopper and CRD base it, but I pull back my JagerMech since it’s next to Orion. My Wolfhound and Jenner base their Locust. Weapons! I send my 12 mechs at their Demolisher and 6 vees each at the Shreck and LRM Carrier. Our JM destroys the Demolisher’s turret! Dead tank! Their Schrek front is destroyed by my Ontos and my Von Luckner is destroyed. Our Maxim destroys their LRM Carrier’s front back. Kicks time!!! Can I leg their Orion, MAD3M and Wolverine? Our Jenner destroys the RL on their Locust, their Orion survives and falls but isn’t legged. Durable. Their Wolverine’s RL is taken out by our Hopper. Their MAD3M drops, hits it’s wounded LL we cracked and destroys it. With their CO killed, and three mechs legged and all other leaders out, their XO in the Stalker calls it and they retreat. April 22, 3030 – Arriving for their 4 month security deal in CC space at the developed and welcoming Ares for a bit until tensions die down is Vee #8 and Ju Ni. The deal four months begins today and ends August 22. We unload. For each month here I will toss 2d12 and see if anything happens. We have split scouting into two lances of one vee and one mech around their government and then mixing so if I have scout mechs then our close and assault vees are with them. For one month I need to toss a 8, 9, 10 or 11 for something to happen. Month one is s 3. Nothing! Month 2? 6, nothing! We lose setup 5-11 on the 3rd toss after two ties. I set up at the top. I send my Awesome on top of my Schrek to protect it, so you’ll have to base it to kick my Schrek. I set up first to see where they go the TBT and then their Devastator is in the far right corner. Their BM in the left flank and everything not in the right with their Devastator and nothing else.
Turn 1 – We win init 8-7. I move 5 where possible. Their Demolisher moves first in front of my Stalker I base it but move 3. Do I move my Awesome 3 to base their Warhammer? I hold off. My Catapult bases it instead. Their BM Bases my Catapult’s flank, my Awesome bases it’s rear but only moved two. Our TBT bases it’s flank. I fire at their BM to try and help, but without the hole opening of a smash mouth guy it’s less likely. We go internal in it’s Rl it falls and blacks out. As does our Catapult but didn’t black out. Melee! Our Awesome destroys it’s RL and it’s legged! Turn 2 – We keep init and win 8-2. They assign that move to the BM. Should my Stalker base their Brutus or stay near their Demolisher? I’ll wait but our Catapult rises and bases it. Their Demolisher moves and protects it’s internal flank and I base their Brutus. Our Awesome to their Warhammer’s rear and next to the Brutus too. Our TBT on their Vedette. So I want to take out that Demolisher with weapons and then the Brutus with melee. But the Demolisher turned it’s back to me, which only has 20 total armor combined, so I don’t want to overkill so I send 4 at it and then 4 at the Warhammer to try for an unlikely hail mary. I go overheat. Our Hunter destroys their Demolisher’s rear armor on the first salvo on it. Okay, dead tank!! Our first kill from, Vee 8! Our Stalker destroys their Warhammer’s LA and our Catapult hit it’s engine and gyro once each, it fell and we cracked the head a bit with SRms so he blacked out with 3 hits. Melee can we take out the Brutus? We all hit but no immobile or destroyed. Their BM wakes up, ejects from the legged mech and they flee! Salvage: BattleMaster missing RL; See below Warhammer 6L missing a LA and hit gyro and engine once each, blacked out pilot. See below Demolisher - missing rear armor. Bulldog Goblin Pegasus Love that SF and Pegasus. This is their SF variant with 85 tons, moves 3/5, has 312 points of armor, LRm 20 in the front, and then turret has 4 SRM4 and 4 MG too. Set-up – we lose 5-4. Low scoring. I set up my BM flank at the top first. Their Victor is to the back of the north center and most of the rest are in the right corner.
Turn 1 – We win init by one 10-9. Their SSF moves early on the flank over their Bulldog. I could base it with my Charger to try and kick it, but I’ll wait because i want to kick out legs on their Grasshopper. Their Hopper next to our Drillson and Pegasus, I base it with the Charger but only moved 2. Our TDR base it. Our Banshee to their Victor’s rear. I fire at their SF. Our Maxim destroys it’s turret, dead tank! Melee!!! We kick their Hopper to the ground! It kicks my TDR to the ground. Turn 2 – We keep init 9-5. Their Hopper rises but stands in the same spot, I stay based with my Charger. Their Victor hops to the other side of woods. Our Banshee on their Goblin. Our TDR Rises and moves around their Hopper still based to it. Our BM bases it too,. If I can see their Victor I fire at it. I go overheat too. Otherwise the um….Dervish I guess? On the 2nd attack the Charger hit the ammo in the Dervish – boom, dead mech!! Melee!! Can I leg the Hopper? Our BM destroys it’s savaged LL and it destroys our savaged LL on our TDr, both legged. They pull back and eject from their legged mech!!! Salvage: SturmFuer (SRM) – destroyed turret. We toss a 9 and can salvage it!!! Dervish – LA, RA, H, LL, RL Grasshopper – missing LL; see below I add the Dervish parts. Yay for the salvaged tank!!! Do I have the Hopper LL? Nope no legs, other 70 tonners? Beginning of Contract #59: April 20, 3030 - Khamésh Company arrives at the CC Nadir JumpPoint world of Capricorn III next to Ares and here to the Object Raid for the St. Ives Compact here, and we brought the entire fleet here to dislodge them. This is a super quiet world with nothing on any of my IS Atlas or Sarna.net that I refer too mentions anything, plus this just after the 4th savaged the CC military, economy and worlds and more stuff, so I doubt just three months later there will be much here to stop us like the previous ones that had real stuff, this just has a mech company and that’s it. We arrive and see that yes, there is just an Invader here of three DropRings, two of which have stuff, an Achilles and Leopard CV. That would be space for a Union. They unload and move towards us. They have 8 fighters and then 4 Aquarius from the Achilles and Invader. We blast them fast, they lose everything but the Leopard CV which heads back and was savaged, can we chase and take it out? I’m saying yes if I toss an 8 or higher. Just a 3, nope. Can we salvage the Achilles? I toss a 9, so yes. It costs us 10 mill, spent!!! War Chest is - 781,785,381 They jump out and flee with the Leopard and have fled the system, no other Jumps for them at the Zenith JumpPoint. Battle Loss at JumpPoint: We took 6 mill in damage. We lost just 2 fighters permanently for a total of 11,622,780. We lost two and can salvage for 1.25 mill. Then we can salvage 4 of their Fighters for 3.65 mil and then two of their Aquarii for 2.6 mill. We scour and find at the JumpPoint just 3.5 mill in cash. Lighter, but lighter battle. We capture the JumpPoint, we head to the planet. April 25, 3030 - We arrive and then there is no DropShips here to smash or protest our presence so we land with massive air superiority. We use our fighters to verify their location, and size, yup, it’s a mech company and there is a Union here for them to get out, and then here is the HQ we need to take out. Since they have been savaged by the war, I am ruling that they are green unless otherwise stated. I also don’t mind legging that PXH and Griffin since they are pretty good scouts. I prefer the better heat sinks and armor of heavier stuff to the PXH though the Griffin has an LRM and PPC not great with scouting. Love that Spider!! Remember we have here Khamésh Company which is: Atlas AS7-D Orion ONI-iK BattleMaster 1S Banshee 3S Stalker 3H Trebuchet TBT5N Whitworth Warhammer 6R Grasshopper 5H Jenner JR7-F Locust 1E Phoenix Hawk 1 This is a great smash, but a Warhammer 6R is okay, and then the Stalker is great. But that TBT/Whit combo is bad and I’d prefer a Hammer 6D. The scout lance is good too. I should swap that Whit for a better missile boat. Remember that’s the 3H Stalker variant with 2 LRM 20s and the BM variant has an LRM 15, one LRm5 and 2 SRM2s and then 4 ML and 20 sinks. So that;s the reason I only went with the Whit/TBT combo since I have a bunch of LRMs from that duo. But armor wise not great. This is each of ours Phoenix Hawks with 45 tons, 6/9/6 movement, just 10 heat sinks, LL, 2 MG, 2 ML and then 128 armor, okay for a 45 tonner but not the best. ![]() We are on the bottom and then they in the middle in a fort. |
Set up – we toss a 8 vs 6 and win set up! I set up at the top of the south flank with my Assaults and Orion!!! Yeah! They set up roughly in the middle around a small level one building so I can see them.
Turn 1 – We lose 10-9. Not bad…close! Then I charge 5! Our BM Bases their Cataphract but moved 6 the others cannot catch him with 3/5 movement. Our WW camps heavy woods by the south edges the BM just left. Their Archer moves back. Their BM stood still in the heavy woods. Our Locust to their Cat’s flank. I fire at their BM with everything. Ideally I take it out this turn and then their Archer next. Our Locust hits the BM Srm ammo in the LT, dead mech! Insert sad face here! That exploding engine cascade failed. It hit the engine once and gyro twice for their Goliath, and then their Cataphract’s AC5 ammo in the LT it booms too!! So in one shot our Locust finished off THREE mechs!!! That’s Kristie Sabola’s 6th KO! Their Wasp also lost it’s RA. It turned the hex to rubble! WHOA!!!!! With both Assaults and their smash heavy taken out are they even going to keep pushing? I toss a 2d6 it’s an 8. They keep on coming. Turn 2 – We win init, 10-3! Wowzer!!! They actually turn the Goliath to us to keep their XO in the game. I keep my WW in the heavy stuff. Since my Locust is open in the CT I eject it. Does my Atlas base their Vulcan or wait until they move their Archer? I’ll wait. Our Warhammer bases their FS. Our Atlas bases their Archer but none other big ones can reach it. Our PXH to it’s flank though. Our Orion bases their Goliath on the ground. Their Rifleman bases my Stalker’s front to keep me from moving forward, great sac play there! I move around to it’s rear and face it. Our Hopper bases it’s flank, no kicks. Our BM bases their Griffin. Should my Jenner base the RFL too or move north to their Archer but not based? If I did I couldn’t fire at the Archer. Done. Let’s leg the RFL and destroy the Archer. I fire everything that can see their Archer at it. Our Orion hit the ammo in their Archer’s RT, dead mech! Also LRMs our BM destroys the RL on their Wasp and damage goes up to the RT and its on the ground. Melee! Can I leg the Rifleman? Yup! Well that went right whereas keeping the Archer and BM alive didn’t. Just as a heads up, in terms of mechs I like for smashing I've still got TBolts and Charger's in the assault side but that's it. I also have some Orions but all out of everything else from BM's to Banshees and more, then for fire support I am out of Awesomes and have some Longbows though and that's it, out of Archers, CRDs, and Catapults, and Warhammer 6DS. For scouts I've got a Grasshopper left and that's it, no jumpy or Wolfhounds or Wolverines or other stuff like Locust 1Es or Jenner 7Fs. So, if we still don't have that much prior to the next one I could be outta some cash to get the goods and then maybe have the cash for what I want or trade sell mechs for it too.

We win set up 10-8. I set up on the north flank of the area my Atlas in the middle of five on top. They set up their Victor close to me and then everyone else on the back side.
Turn 1 - We win inti 10-7, pretty similar as before. Their Stalker moves towards us first. I want to destroy the leg of their Archer and CRD with assault kicks and Stalker and Cataphract with normal attacks. Do I base the Stalker this turn? I could base it with my BM and Atlas this turn. I move the BM to base it and the Cataphract that moved next to it. Their Archer bases it’s flank, I base the Archer with our Banshee. No one else can base it, but our Hopper bases their CRD. Their Wolverine bases my Jenner. Our Atlas bases their Stalker. Our LCT bases their Wolverine’s flank. Their Victor didn’t move and is next to my Banshee’s flank. I fire everything at their Stalker and hope to bring it down. Hopefully not with an ammo explosion! Our Grasshopper destroys it’s RL, legged! Then hits the ammo in the RT, boom, dead mech!!! That’s not good. No falls. Melee! All four of our kicks landed and we dropped their Cataphract and Archer to the ground. Turn 2 – We lose init 7-9. Their WW moves first. They are trying to bait my big guys away from the middle with that Stinger and Cicada flanking me but near them. The Spider I would, but not those. They move their Spider finally on my west flank. It’s too far from assaults, but I can base it with my Hopper and PXh, does that work? I move over my PXH first. Their Cataphract doesn’t rise. Our Hopper bases their Spider later. Their Centurion bases my WW. Their Archer rises, my BM bases it, Banshee too! Do I fire at their CTF or VTR? CTF if I can see it. I go overheat. Our Orion destroys their CTF’s damaged RL. Our Banshee’s Small laser hits the Archer in front to soften it up and hit the gyro 2 and engine 1. It’s immobile! That’s Shmavon Meghrian’s 4th KO with us. Our Jenner hit their Cataphract’s ammo in it’s Lt, dead mech, boom!!! Insert sad face there because I was hoping to bring it in. No falls by us, but their Victor tumbles. Can I leg the Spider? It’s +4 to be hit. Bad news and good news. The bad news is that we didn’t leg the Spider sorry. We each hit but separate legs. Good news is that our Banshee punched their Centurion in the head four 10 and hit the cockpit, it’s down randomly. Nice 2nd kill in the same turn!!! No tanks there either!!! They flee! Salvage: Stalker 3H - H, LL, RA, LA CTF 2X – LA, RA, LL, H Archer – 2 gyro, 1 engine. Centurion - hit cockpit That’ s a weird game. And odd salvage too. We didn’t take out any parts we need to replace. I was hoping to bring in the Stalker and CTF we blew up and both on that turn were legged, I was hoping to bring in a legged Archer, CRD and Spider, and only one. Weird. We fix the Archer’s gyro in 5 days and engine in 2. Added. The Centurion cockpit is repaired in 5 days on the 3rd try. Added! I love the Archer, but that CNT is like our billion-ith. |

They base our TBolt’s flank with their Hunchback, they flank us with their Harasser, Saracen and Scimitar. We base their Harasser with our Spider. We fire at their Awesome with our mechs and Rhino with our vees. Our CRD smashes and destroys their Awesome’s RA. Our Catapult it’s LA. Our VL destroys their Rhino’s front!!! Their Armless Awesome falls and destroys it’s RL, legged! Melee! Our Spider immobilizes their Harasser! Our CRD destroys their VL’s front. We savage their MAD3M. Turn 2 – We lose init 8-7 again. I charge 5. They eject the Harasser and then turn the Awesome. We keep based with their MAD3M. Their Hopper leaps to the rear of my Awesome and we base it with our Banshee and BM moving just a few and Catapult too. We stay based with their MAD and add the CRD too it. Their CRD retreated. I fire at their Banshee with mechs and hope to not get an Ammo explosions and then our vees at their Devastator. We pepper their Banshee but don’t bring it down. We did drop it to the ground though! Our Demolisher destroys their Devastator’s turret. Dead tank!!! Before it dies it destroys our Zhukov’s front. Melee!! Our CRD destroys the RL of their MAD3M!!! Our Catapult kicks the Grasshopper’s LL, has ONE INTERNAL LEFT but was a glancing blow so half damage was dealt. Sad face. They rise their Hopper, Banshee and eject from their Awesome and MAD and flee. Their Catapult moves behind the woods too. I fire at their Cyclops. I cannot see their Orion with many. Our Warhammer hit ammo on the Cyclops, boom, It’s gone!!! No falls, melee? Their Goliath is internal in it’s LLF with 6 left. They hit my BM in the head and it’s got 2 left internal. Our Banshee bases their Enforcer. Turn 2 – They grab init 6-5. Our Banshee bases their Enforcer. Their Hermes II bases it’s flank. Our Longbow bases it and our TDR too. Their Catapult moves! I base it with my Warhammer and Archer and Wolverine flank and Vulcan to it’s rear! Their Orion emerges and bases my Banshee’s flank. Our BM and Charger stay on their Goliath as does our Hopper!!! Our WLF to their Merlin’s rear. I fire at their Orion! Ideally, I can take it out recoverable and then leg their Catapult and then Goliath. Our TDR destroys their Orion’s RA. Our Longbow it’s LL! Legged! Our Vulcan destroys it’s RT and then hits the engine twice. Good stuff! Kicks time!!! We do kick the Goliath three times and don’t connect with the wounded leg. Our TDR Destroys the RL on their Hermes II 2S! Our Vulcan also destroys the RL on their Catapult!!! Two legged! Was hoping for that Goliath though. They eject from their Orion, Hermes II and Catapult and then flee!! Their Warhammer rises, based with my Atlas and Orion still too. Our Banshee bases their Wolverine after it bases our Archer’s flank. Awesome bases it too. Their CNT rises, do I base their Warhammer or Wolverine with my Grasshopper? I cannot get to it, so Warhammer. I’m not sure I have enough stuff in the Wolverine. I fire at their Victor! April 15, 3030 – They load up in their Union and flee to the JumpPoint and we attack and destroy it. Can we salvage the Union? I toss a 4, nope. We get from it another 3 mill.
April 17 – We blow up their base after salvaging 700k. April 22 – We arrive in the next system at the Zenith DropPoint where Intel have them. Here there is an Invader JumpShip with all three drop rings empty but they are moving to planet – Union, Leopard CV and Mule with their stuff and there is a random Avenger here hanging out with no JumpShip. Looks like they just finished raiding. Their Mule flees to the planet and the rest hit us. They have 8 fighters, Leopard CV, Avenger, Union heading to the planet with the Mule after dropping it’s fighters. We smash them hard but they have more stuff happening here and it takes us more damage. We destroy the Avenger and Leopard CV can I salvage either? I toss a 2 and11 yes on the Leopard CV!!! I spend 5 mill to get it up and running, War Chest is 770,139,537 We capture their Invader that cannot jump back out. Battle Loss at JumpPoint - We took 9 mill in damage we lost an Aquarius permanently at 14,221,500 and one fighter lost for 2,627,292 and we can salvage one of ours for 1.2 mil and then 3 of theirs for 1.65 mill. We find here salvaged 2.5 mill April 29, 3030 – Nove company follows their Union and Mule down to their Aerobase. They are just an hour ahead of us, so we hit them here. May 08, 3030 – We arrive at the third spot! In here the intel has them at the Nadir JumpPoint. Here they have an Invader with an Avenger, and Leopard CV and then an empty DropRing We take out the Avenger and 4 fighters, and then their jump out after fleeing, we have secured the JumpPoint, can we get the Avenger? I toss a 7, so not really. Battle Loss at JumpPoint – We took 6 mill damage and then lost one fighter permanently for 6,151,500 and we salvage 2 of ours for 1.1 mill and then 2 of their for 1 mill even. We salvaged here at the JumpPoint 2 mill. May 16, 3030 - We arrive at the planet, no protest, and then at the base with no protest either. Here are the Pirate Defenders: Cyclops – XO Longbow 7Q - !!! CO, veteran. Catapult!!! Grasshopper!!! Orion!!!!! Chameleon Enforcer PXH-1!!! Trebuchet!!! Spider!!! Wasp 1A Wolfhound!!! The CO is a veteran and the rest are random. I’d love to bring in that Longbow and Catapult too! Ditto that Grasshopper and Orion. Barring that Cyclops that’s a strong 5 core mechs in purpose and armor and weapons. The PXH and Trebuchet are fine too. Spider’s awesome as always. Another Wolfhound! Too many good mechs for one battle, that company looks a lot like mine with the Wasp and Cyke the only major holes. I fire at their Longbow and hope to bring it down without an ammo boom. Our Atlas AC20 on THE FIRST SHOT destroys its head, dead mech and pilot. That’ll piss them off. No falls. Melee? Their Cyke falls and then one leg had 6 left internal. No other falls. Turn 2 – We grab init 10-6, yay!!! They bring up the Catapult, do I base it with our Awesome? I move it 3 and do so our Warhammer bases it too. Our PXH bases their Wolfhound again and Jenner too their Spider flees. Our Jav bases their Wolfhound too. Our Atlas bases their PXH and our Hunch does as well. Their Cycke stands. Our Hopper and Archer base their Cyclops to try and leg it. Then their Hopper leaps. Can I base it? Nope, I base their Orion with my other two mechs already on it. I fire at their Orion to bring it in. Their Wolfhound hits the engine in my Archer in a through armor crit. Our Warhammer destroys their Orion’s LA. Our Grasshopper destroys it’s CT, and that’s NOT an ammo explosion just normally, insert sad face. No falls! I toss 4! They are: #1. The CC wants us to O. Raid the FS border world of Gan Singh the Davions took from them in the 4th and then are setting up defenses so they wanna slow them down, and we know that world since we took it. That’s fair! We would need a Battalion of mechs. We could be there on June 15. #2. The CC also wants us to O. Raid the FWL world of Hassad on the border. It’s quiet, just a mech company needed. We could be there on June 13, or May 17 if I send in Khamésh or Deitch nearby. #3. The St. Ives Compact want us to do an O Raid against the CC world of Bandora on the border! It’s pretty quiet, nothing there, I’d need my fleet and could be there on May 17. #4. The FWL want us to O Raid the LS world of Algorab three jumps away. It’s on the border, need a mech and tank to smash it. I could be there on May 19. Wow that’s a very CC flavored month. I do all 4 again!!! Negotiation with CC #1: I start with 240 points. They are in north instead of the center since this will be longer and I wanted to give them more time to respond. This is their and our founding unit Marauder 3D variant. It’s 75 tons, 4/6 movement, adds 4 heat sinks from the base to 20 and then okay armor at 184 (max would be 231) and then pulls the ammo exploded AC5 for a LL and then still has 2 PPC and 2 ML which you never fire since running and the LL and PPC make 20 heat. ![]() |
Set-up: We lose barely 6-7. Both okay but not great numbers. I set up my two Atlases at the top central and then there the top of the map in a giant circle to be as far away from me as possible. Their key assaults and Orion and Hunch in the middle like me.
Turn 1 – We lose again, by one, 10-9 better scores though. I charge 5, pretty far away. They do the same. Their Wolfs, Locusts and Commando flank us. I base the Commando on the left with our 2 Spiders, hopefully I can leg it. Weapons fire! My first 18 mechs target their Atlas and my last 18 their BM! Shoondah’s TBolt LL hit their Atlas in the head and sheered it off, dead mech and pilot and CO too, sorry. That’ll annoy them! However, Sip-Sim’s TBolt hit its ammo, dead mech, no salvage. Ouchie!!! I wanted that. Oitavo’s GLT destroys the BM’s RL, the TBT it’s LL, double legged! We also destroy it’s RA and hit a gyro once. It can be salvaged. In one barrage we take out both leader mechs and one leader completely. Melee we drop the Commando and it’s internal in the LL. Turn 2 – They keep init this turn, 8-6. Another 6. We charge 5, they do too. The eject theri BM! They base our Atlas’s flank with an Enforcer. We base it with our Archers and CRD. They base our now exposed Archer’s flank with an Orion. Their Wolverine bases it’s rear. Their Commando rises and runs and I stay based with the Spiders. Our team bases their Wolverine with two TBts and then our Warhammer 6D the only heavy or bigger one, doubt that’ll crack the leg. They have Wolfhounds and Locusts in our flanks and rear and have outflanked our position. We base a Wolfhound with our 2 Jav 10Fs. We cannot crack it’s armor and leg it in one turn with those too good. Weapons fire – I split out 18 at their Banshee and then the rest at their Orion. It’s the only one with enough armor to maybe survive 18 mechs, doubt it though. Shoondzah’s Grasshopper cracks open the Banshee’s CT and then hit the engine twice. Sip-Sam’s Charger 1A5’s AC20 destroys the RL and then SRMs hit the hip in the LL and it’s Awesome destroys the mech’s RT, RA on the ground! Oitavo’s Awesome hit the ammo on the Orion, boom dead mech! That was probably going to happen, however their Hunchback got a through armor crit on our ammo on Shoondzah’s TBolt, dead mech. Melee! We leg the Commando’s RL. We drop their Wolfhound and our Warhammer goes internal on their Wolverine’s LL and then it falls. Our Crusader legs their Enforcer’s LL. Yay! Turn 3 – We finally win init 6-4. Still rolled a 6. They move, first, their Stalker and it bases our Atlas’s front. I stay next to it but turn and back to count as moving. Can I leg a Stalker? I could base it with tons. I wait. Their Charger bases the rear of my Archer 2S. They move their Warhammer 6D, based, with our Atlas, BM, and Banshee in the front. Their Wolfhound rises and then our Javs base it and our Spiders and then 2 Vulcan 5Ts base their other Wolfhound flanking me. Their Jav leaps away I cannot base it with anything, sad. I base their Stalker with two Awesome and Shoondzah’s Banshee and 2 Chargers, why not try and leg it? Melee! I send one company each at their Archer, CRD and Warhammer! Shoondzah’s Archer hit the ammo on their Archer, dead mech, but not salvageable, sad. Sip-Sam’s Catapult destroys the RA of their Crusader and then the Grasshopper there the RL and it falls and destroys the RT. Legged! We savage their Warhammer with Oitavo but it’s still standing, literally and figuratively too. No parts missing. Melee! Our Atlas legs their Warhammer RL! Our Javs drop the Wolfhound but don’t leg it. Our 2 Vulcan and Spiders do the LL of their based one! Their Charger legs our Archer 2S’s RL. Our Banshee legs their Stalker’s LL. We have savaged their formations and mechs, and then they eject from the mechs! I spend 2 mill to fix it up, added!!! Crusader right side? Got the RT, but not the others, I add the exploded TBolts here below and then it is added! Stalker RL? Do I have one? Got it, added!!!!!!!! Warhammer RL? None! Other 70 tonners like Hoppers, Archers and Cataphracts? None! I pay a mill to get it fixed and added!!! Wolfhound LL? No parts. I spend another mill, added!!! I don’t care about Commandos. I spend 500k to get Enforcer up and running. Us: Shoondzah’s Thunderbolt – Lost – We salvaged – H, RA, RL, LA, LL, LT – Oitavo – Archer 2S missing RL – to fix 750k We lost a good mech! It costs 5,413,760 to fix but we have one in storage. Set-up – We win this massively 12-5!! I set up at the top of the north flank. They set up their Banshee next to us. The rest set up just in a circle around us.
Turn 1 – We also thump them 9-4 in init. We are winning that at least. They move their Urbie first in front of my Banshee who is 6 away and cannot base. Their Rifleman behind woods, our Wolfhound bases its flank. Their Zeus charges us. Our Awesome bases it but only moved 4. Ditto our BM. Tier Wolverine and Catapult leap away. Our Warhammer and Charger base the Urban. Our Hunch their TBT that bases my Charger’s flank. Our Jenner bases their Rifleman and our PXH their Clint. Their Banshee stays standing still. I base its flank with my Catapult. I fire at their Banshee IF they can draw LOS but many like my Charger cannot. If they can’t I fire at their +4 to hit Catapult to either take it out or soften it for kicks later. Our BM hits the gyro on their Banshee once. Our Grasshopper destroys it’s RA. It falls. It’s still got armor on it’s legs, the Catapult has 10 left internal on a leg but otherwise is fine and didn’t fall. Melee!! Our Warhammer leg’s their Urbie’s RL and hits the ammo in the RT, boom, dead mech!!!! We drop their Rifleman and Zeus. Turn 2 – We toss the dice and win again 10-8. Our Charger bases their Merlin. Their Rifleman stays no getting up. Our PXH stays based with their Clint. Our Jenner bases their TBT’s flank. Our Wolfhound bases their Clint’s rear. They hop their Catapult behind our lines, I can base it with our Banshee but that would be not aiming at their Banshee or other stuff, I do it. Our Hunch bases their TBT. Their Banshee rises and runs away, then fell for running on a wounded gyro. Our Hopper near their Catapult. Our BM bases their Merlin and Awesome their TBT. Their Zeus rises and our Warhammer and Catapult base it!!! I fire at and try to finish off their Banshee If they can see it!! But +2 to hit on the ground and then medium or long range away. Our Charger destroys their Banshee’’s RT. Our TBT hits it’s engine twice and gyro one, gyro destroyed!!! That’s Robin’s 4th kill!!! Melee!!! Our BM legs their Merlin;s RL!!! Our Awesome legs their TBT and hit the ammo, boom dead mech too. That’s also Seamus Kilkenny’s 4th kill too!!! Our Warhammer legs their Zeus’s RL too!!! We miss the two kicks on their Catapult it’s fine. They flee and we capture the gyro broken and 2 legged mechs. May 17, 3030 – Arriving at the CC world of Bandora for an SIC Raid is our giant fleet and then Khamésh Company too!!! We are at the Nadir JumpPoint! Here we run into a smaller fleet since this is a minor world with no descriptions of anything here, and then just a mech company to smash that face in. Yes it’s a border but a newly formed border world just a few months later after the 4th ended. Here we have a Invader with an Achilles, Leopard CV and empty ring. They unload and have 4 Aquarius too. We savage their Achilles and most of their fleet and three Aquarii. They flee and the JumpShip jumps out. Can I salvage that Achilles? Nope miss by one, tossed an 8. Battle Loss at the JumpPoint – We took 6 mill in damage. We only lost 3 fighters, one permanently for 4,454,053 and then we can salvage 2 of ours for 780k. We can salvage 3 of theirs for 1.15 mill and an Aquarius for 1.55 mill. We search and find here 2 mill of stuff! The stuff from the Zenith JumpShip also unfurls and heads our way. May 22, 3030 – We arrive at the planet of Bandora and then they have there stuff from the Zenith point which had the same and then an on planet Avenger, another Leopard CV and then the Union for getting what we are smashing home. They have 16 fighters, an Achilles, Avenger 2 CVs and then the Union and 4 Aquarius. We thump them hard, obviously. We take out: CV, Avenger and the Achilles, the rest flee to the JumpPoint save for the Union that heads home. We also took out 12 fighters and then 2 Aquarius. Can I salvage them? I toss 5, 3 and then 9 so yes for the Achilles!!! I spend 9 mill fixing it up. War Chest is 760,449,041 Battle Loss at Planet: We took 8 mil in damage and then we lost 8 fighters, four can be salvaged for 2.75 mill, four were lost for 15,551,637. We can salvage their 6 fighters for 6.05 mill and then an Aquarius for 800k. We also find here at the planet 4 mill!!! We land and then drop Khamésh Company too!!! I base it with my Banshee and my good Charger but they move just 3 and walked. They base my Banshee with their Charger flank. I base it with my Catapult, TDR and CRD. They base my Manticore and Hunter with their Commando and Valkyrie. I fire at their Goliath from our mechs and their Rhino my tanks. Our Awesome destroys their Goliath’s RT. Our Archer hits the LRM ammo in the LT, boom, dead mech!!! First kill!!! Then our Schrek destroys their Rhino’s Turret, dead tank!!! Melee!! Our Banshee and Charger leg their Hatchetman’s LL. We drop their Charger and it’s got just 4 left in the RL. Their Valkyrie immobilizes my Manticore. Turn 2 – We still lose 6-3. Meh. We eject the Manticore. They turn the Hatchetman and rise their Charger I stick based to. Their CRD backs up and then their Rifleman charges us, weird choice there, I base it with my Banshee, Charger and Crockett. We base their Hunter with our PXh and Wolverine. One of the last things they hop their Wolverine in my Awesome’s flank based by our Hopper and Jenner and Drillson. I fire at their CRD with mechs and then at their Manticore with my vees. Our Charger’s AC20 kills the CRD by decapitating it. Then our Catapult legs it too by destroying it’s RL. Then our Grasshopper destroys it by hitting the ammo in the RT, we answered it in three ways!!! They destroy our Schrek’s front. Our Rhino destroys their Manticore’s front. Melee! Our TDR legs their Charger. Our Crockett legs their Rifleman’s RL. We drop their Wolverine and go internal but don’t take it out. They eject from the three legged mechs and flee!! June 01, 3030 - We search for contracts!!! We get another four!
They are: #1. The Tikonov Free Republic wants us to sign a deal as a Security Deal for 3 months to help until troops rotate in on their world of Carver V. It’s an Ocean world they want a mech and vee company. We could be there on June 16. #2. The Lyrans want us to O Raid the FWL world of Tania Borealis which has nothing there and isn’t on the border. Just a company needed. A great shakedown for Tekau mā Waru – we could be there on June 22. #3. The Fed Suns want us to Extract Raid prisoners from a prison on the CC world of Gei-Fu where many former prisoners are still kept after exchanges after the 4th Succession War finished. We will need a battalion to smash their garrison at the prison and infantry to infiltrate so I send them all. I can be there on July 24 if I send in my big navy. #4. The CC wants us to O Raid the FS Border World of Sarmaxa which they just took and again to destroy the growing HQ to set them back. Again, a battalion is needed there just like us atGan Singh. We would be there on Aug 08, but if I send in the three from the Gan Singh raid there we could be there June 07. I do all four!!! Negotiation with the TFR: We have 230 points, and spend 50 for Full Salvage three months deal, 25 points pulled for 50% Battle Loss and Support, then they pull 25 for x4. We add in 10 for no remuneration they give us a liaison and no transport. We have 150 points left and 75% Signing Bonus, and I send Vee #5 Epsilon Company and ῾Eono Company! See you on June 16!!! Beginning of Contract #68:
June 16, 3030 - Epsilon Company and ῾Eono Company arrive at the TFR System of Carver V to set up shop for three months. June 21, 3030 – We land and get the Sitrep from the locals. Our contract ends on Sept 21,3030 when relief arrives. We are here to garrison and patrol the capital city. We will be sending out a pair of lances together to patrol of both fire support or one smash and the other scout. This system has pro-Liao sentiment from just leaving and they think there might be problems from the sympathizers. I will toss dice each month to see if the world has issues for us to handle. If I toss an 8 then yes! I toss a 7, 3 and 11! Uh oh… August 12, 3030 – An explosion happens near the capital city we are at. A local Liao noble claims credit. At their home is a company of mechs and vees each and 3 squads of infantry too. A mixed battalion. We send in both companies of our stuff to smash and force them out. They have 4 AC20s there. That’s nasty to take out. They are in the center and us the south and then they are regular. Here is their Rommel: it’s got an AC20, 176 armor, 4/6 movement, backup weapons of an LRm5 and SL and then weighs 65 tons and then was introduced just three years ago in 3027. ![]() |
Setup – We lose 7-9, by two. I set up on the top flank and then they in the arc around us. We are on the mansion map.
Turn 1 – We lose init again 10-2, ouch. They thumped us, I charge 5 where possible. They move their Cataphract into the front of my BM which can only move 3 to base it, so I do. I also base it with my Banshee and Charger for just walking too. Their Hopper bases my rear of my Charger. I then base it with my Goliath and Catapult and CRD. They then jump their Victor to the flank of our Charger too. Our Warhammer bases their Hetzer. They flank us with Harasser and Scimitar too and Stinger and Wasp on top. Melee! I aim my mechs at their TBolt +2 to hit and my tanks at their Demolisher. Our Charger destroys it’s RL, our Goliath it’s LA and then our Dervish hits the ammo in the RT boom, dead mech, sad, I needed that! I legged it too! Our Zhukov destroys the front of their Demolisher!!! Melee! Our Banshee drops their Cataphract and it has just 2 left in a RL. Our Goliath drops their Grasshopper and we leg its LL. Then their three heavy and assault kicks leg my Charger’s RL. It’s down. Turn 2 - We still lose init but close 7-6. I eject the legged Charger. They don’t their Hopper. They stand their Cataphract and stay there so I stay at it. We base their Scimitar with our Locust, Vulcan and Javelin. Their Shadow Hawk bases our Locust’s flank. Our TDR, Catapult and Goliath base their Laser Carrier. Their Whitworth bases our Locust’s other flank. I aim my mechs at their Victor and my vees at their Rommel! Our Crusader by Albert Du Monde hit the Victor’s ammo, boom, explosion, that’s his fourth kill! Our Bulldog hit and destroyed the left side of their Rommel, destroyed! They destroy our Ontos. Melee! We leg their Cataphract RL and they leg my Locust’s RL, but it destroyed the rear of their Scimitar and our Goliath the side of their Laser Carrier! That’s Sára Kondziolka in the Goliath’s 4th kill!!! They eject from their legged and lost two lances in two turns. Salvage: Thunderbolt – H, RA, LL, LT Victor – H, RA, LA, LL, RL Grasshopper missing LL; see below Cataphract missing RL; see below I add the sad TBolt parts, not surprised by the Victor boom though. Do I have the Grasshopper part in LL form? No legs from it. Other 70 tonners? Got an Archer one, added!!! The RL of the Cat? Got and added!!! Laser Carrier – destroyed side – toss a 6 and don’t salvage Demolisher – destroyed front and I toss a 2 and cannot salvage. Sad. Rommel – destroyed side, I toss a 5 and cannot salvage. Scimitar – destroyed rear, I toss an 8 and salvage it! I add the Scimitar! Sad about the Rommel and Demolisher though. Us: Charger 1A5 missing RL; see below Locust missing RL; current value - 1,324,200 – to fix 250k Ontos missing front, I toss a 2 and cannot salvage Wow rough, two lost limbs and then the tank. Do I have a Charger or Locust RL? No Charger parts at all, the RL from another 80 tonner? I use the Victor one salvaged. Then the Locust? No parts for it or other 20 tonners. I spend 250k. I do have one extra Ontos and it’s pretty unique so I want to keep it for my next company so I spend 2,265,413 to replace.
