Jan 20, 3031 – Arriving for the FWL raid on the LC world of Gladius is the 27th Mech Company named Saith ar Hugain and an Achilles, Leopard CV and Union on our Invader. We arrive at the Nadir JumpPoint – all quiet. We head to the planet. Jan 26, 3031 – We arrive at the planet with no one contesting our arrival in the sky either. We scout, land, and then arrive at a city’s DropPort around a few hours away. Jan 27, 3031 – We head to their local HQ and then scout and then they are here for us to smash and dash. Here are the Local Stiener Defenders on Gladius: Banshee 3S – veteran, CO – yay!!! Cyclops - veteran Victor 9B – veteran, XO JagerMech Marauder Thunderbolt!!! Cicada Griffin 1S!!!!! Scorpion Commando Locust 1S Valkyrie Loads of Assault AC20s in there!!! Love that Griffin, TBolt and Banshee!! They are in the middle, regular, and then with all of the good stuff. Their BV is 14k Here is theirs and our Banshee 3S each of us with one, a 95 ton smash assault machine with 3/5 movement, massive armor, 2 PPCs, 1 AC10, 4 ML and a 2 SL!!! Set-Up – We lose 10-8. We set up at top first. They set up far away from us in the middle stuff on the center.
Turn 2 – We win init 11-7 – that rhymes!! I move 5. Their MAD bases our Atlas’s flank, our TDR it back. Our BM bases their Cyclops. Our Archer bases their Banshee but their Griffin leaps in front of it to keep our Catapult from doing the same based. We also base their Griffin with our Stalker and Wolverine. Our Hopper bases their Commando as well as our PXH and Jav. Then we fire at their Banshee. Our Awesome destroys its RT, RA on the ground. Our Banshee their Banshee’s LA. Then our Grasshopper hit the ammo in the LT – boom, dead mech! Good job Bob but overkill. Melee! Our Catapult legs the RL in their Griffin!! Our Jav their Commando’s RL too. We drop their MAD but not legged. Turn 2 - We keep init – 11-6 this time, still 11. They stand their Commando. Really. And their Griffin too!!! Weird. Our Wolverine and Hopper base their Valkyrie. They don’t move their Cyclops but hop their Victor away. Our BM bases it’s flank, our Banshee their Cyke too and Atlas and TDR too. Hopefully I can leg it. I fire at their TDR!!! We drop it, destroy no parts, and then it blacks out. Captured!!! Melee! Can we leg their Valkyrie and Cyclops? Our Banshee legs the RL on the Cyclops! We didn’t even drop their Valkyrie though. They eject and run. Salvage: Banshee – H, RA, LL, RL Griffin 1S – missing RL; current value - 4,433,507, to fix – 350k! Feb 19, 3031 – Arriving at the FS world they took from the CC in the 4th Succession War is our Fiche a Cúig, Twanenty-Fower, and Baais companies at their Zenith JumpPoint at Heligoland. We arrive, no issues, and then head to the planet!!!! Feb 26, 3031 – We arrive at the planet with our Leopard CV, Achilles the battalion carrying Overlord on an Invader and we’ve got total control of their battlefields and space too. We land and then start a scouting. We find them at a local base. Here are our three attackers in this ad hoc battalion!!! Fiche a Cúig: Atlas Charger 1A5 Orion 1K Thunderbolt Longbow 7Q Warhammer 6D Crusader 3D JagerMech JM6-A Grasshopper Griffin 1S Phoenix Hawk 1 Jenner7F Great stuff but the JM has great weapons for long range but not the best armor even better than the base one. Shadow Hawk 2D – ouch Trebuchet Wolverine 6D – not great, sorry, just an AC10 Light: 2 Commando 2 Javelin Locust 1E – not bad Stinger 2 Wasp 1D 2 Wolfhound – yay!!! Love those Wolfhounds. Love 5 Assaults, 2 Catapults, CRD, Warhammer, maybe the TDR PXH and Hunchback and 2 Wolfhounds. I typically love Davion’s stuff right now. They are regular in ability on the north side of an urban base. Here is their maybe TDR 5Dm, it weighs 65 tons, moves, 4/6, has max armor and 14 heat sinks…and it has as it’s big weapon an AC20 with 10 shots and then keeps the LRM but a 10. It weirdly only makes 11 heat you should drop two heat sinks for 2 ML easily enough to punish the hole making and then swap the LRM for an SRM too. Pic is here: ![]() |
Set-up – We win 8 -7. Close!!! We set up at the top of the southern edge, we can only see around 25% of their mechs,
Turn 1 – We also lose close too, 9-8. We charge 5. They flank flights and fast mediums down the flanks like Commandos, Javs, Wasp and Wolfhounds. We base their east flank Wolfhound with our two Jenners and Spider. Weapons fire – I fire 18 at their long range at around 9 or 10 away and +2 to hit and then 18 at their Awesome – both are just energy weapons or MGs. Our Grasshopper in the Fiche a Cúig company hit the BM’s head with its LL, dead! We also take out it’s LL and LA. Our Orion in Baais hit their Awesome’s CT and destroyed it, nothing else destroyed though. Two kills, but one salvageable. Melee! Our Spider legs their Wolfhounds RL – yay!!! It falls. Turn 2 – We are thumped in init 10-2. Ouchie. We charge 5 where possible. We base their TDR with Fiche a Cúig’s four smash stuff after it moves in front but just move 3 and 4 to base it. Atlas, Charger, TDR and Orion. Then their Griffin leaps and bases our Orion’s flank, based with that company’s Longbow, Warhammer and CRD. Then I push in Twanenty-Fower’s smash Atlas, Banshee and BM to base their CRD and leg it!!!! They begin to flank us and move into our rear arcs our two Jenners and Spider base their Locust and then our two PXHs and Griffin base their Cicada. Weapons fire. We fire 12 each at their Stalkers and Longbow. Our Warhammer 6D mech in Fiche a Cúig’s hits their Longbow’s ammo in the LT, dead, mech, we also legged the LL too. Twanenty-Fower’s Awesome hits the RL of their Stalker and takes it out. Our CRD hits the other leg, double legged!!! Baais’s Archer hit the ammo in their other Stalker – boom, dead mech!!! We also destroy both arms. Melee!!! Our Orion legs their TDR’s LL. We split attacks on their CRD’s legs it falls. Our CRD legs their Griffin’s RL. We drop but split attacks on their Locust but our Griffin legs their Cicada’s RL too. They drop and leg our Spider’s LL. Turn 3 – We still lose a high scoring 12-11. That hurts. We eject the legged Spider and they the double legged Stalker. They rise their CRD, and I stay based with our Atlas, Banshee and BM. They also rise the Locust and my Spider, and Jenners stay on it too. I base their Warhammer with our four smash mechs in Baais - the Atlas, Banshee 3S, BattleMaster 1D, and Orion. I base their Hunchback with our Awesome, Stalker and Catapult in Baais too. I base their JM with two Grasshoppers and an Archer. I base their TBT with our 2 PXHs a Griffin and Wolverine. Weapons fire!! I fire 12 each at their Catapults and Cyclops. I take out all three. The first’s ammo in the RT hit by our Warhammer again in Fiche a Cúig, Baais’s Orion hits the ammo in the LT of the other. Then Twanenty-Fower’s Grasshopper hit the Cyclops’ ammo too. Boom, dead mech!!! Their Cyclops’s AC20 hit the head and decapitated our Catapult in Baais. Melee!!! Our Jenner legs their Locust’s RL!!! Our Orion legs their Warhammer’s RL!!! Beginning of Contract #99:
Jan 10, 3031 – We arrive at the St. Ives Compact world of St. Loris at it’s Nadir JumpPoint with Shishi Mech and Zeta Vee, in a Gazelle, Union and 2 Leopard CV and one Achilles and Intruder to do it’s security deal for three months. It’ll end on April 10, 3031 and we got a Command Circuit here to help with Liao Rebels. Jan 14, 3031 – We land at the quiet and nothing here, but the CC needs to bring in and get even moral victories right now. We inspect and set up defenses and more and prepare stuff too. We set up our normal two lances of patrols too. Jan 19 – There are some protests at our presence since we fought on the side of the FS in the 4th and then on the side of the Duchy of Andurien against the CC too. Jan 22 - They begin rioting against us in large numbers. Jan 24 – They begin to bomb various places like the local utilities and such here. Jan 26 – They send a force against us a mixed force of mechs, vees, VTOLs and infantry too. VTOLS: 6 Warriors Infantry: 3 each foot, jump and motorized with three Anti-mech jumps. This is their good CO mech the Cyclops designed for it. It’s the only major 90 tonner, with lighter 10 tons of armor, AC20, LRM 10, 2 ML and an SRM4 - good weapons, but just 12 heat sinks and then4/6 movement – move it to 3/5 and then upgrade its armor and sinks would be good, like they did with our beloved Banshee. Set-up – We win 9-4. Hmm. Nice work hours!! We put our stuff on the outskirts of the base and center so they can see all of my forces. No hiding!!! Nothing is near us since they are attacking me in the middle.
Turn 1 – We lose init this time 12-7. Huh!!! Not great work hours. Then we move as far as I can as fast as I can. I base their Centurion with my Atlas, BM and Banshee that only move 3 or 4. Then they begin to flank us with Pegasus, Condors and more and Locust and Wasp. I base their Pegasus with my two lights -Jenner and Spider that have the speed to base it, they base our Banshee’s flank with their VND, which I base with our Grasshopper, Wolverine and Catapult, Archer too. Weapons fire – 12 mechs at their Awesome and 12 vees at their Demolisher!!! Zeta’s Drillson destroys their Demolisher’s front!!! Shishi’s Catapult hits the LRM ammo in their Awesome -boom dead mech. They half the speed on my Maxim, melee!!! We hurt their Pegasus but it’s fine. Our Archer legs their Vindicator’s LL and our Banshee the LL on their Centurion too. They drop our Banshee though. Turn 2 – We keep losing init 6-4. We eject our Maxim and then rise our Banshee and charge them and base their Behemoth. Our Jenner and Spider stick with their damaged Pegasus and our Awesome, CRD, and TBolt base their Rifleman. Then our Atlas, and BM also base their Behemoth too. Our Wolverine, Grasshopper and Archer base their Hunter, and then our Catapult their Scimitar. Weapons fire - 12 each at their Manticore and Rommel. Our Catapult also hit the side of their Manticore – dead!!! Our Von Luckner destroys their Rommel’s turret!!! Melee!!! They drop and leg our Jenner’s LL after it also hit it on the way down. Then it gets back by destroying their Pegasus’s right side. Then our TBolt legs their Rifleman’s RL!!! Our Archer immobilizes their Hunter!!! With us taking out 5 vees, and legged or destroyed 4 mechs, they flee their base and it’s ours!!! Feb 02, 3031 – Arriving at the Zenith JumpPoint across from us are two Merchant JumpShips with CC military logos. They have a Vengeance, Avenger, and two Unions. They announce that they are here to punish us. They are coming in with 2 mech companies to our one each mech and vee. We could handle two Leopards and two escorts like Avengers. things, but a Vengeance has 40 fighters, so I pull my stuff and send it to hide. They WILL have air support too.
Feb 06 – They arrive at the planet. Here are the attacking CC force! Assault: BattleMaster – CO – yay!!!, elite Charger 1A5 – XO - yay - elite Cyclops – elite Goliath - elite They are all elite and veteran overall. Love that BM and Charger!!! Heavy: Cataphract 2X Catapult – yay!!! Marauder 3L Quickdraw Thunderbolt – love it!!! Warhammer 6L Love that Catapult and TBolt too. Medium: Blackjack Centurion AL Cicada Phoenix Hawk !!! Shadow Hawk 2 Vindicators Whitworth Wolverine!!! Love that PXH and Wolverine Light: Locust 1L 2 UrbanMech 60L Raven 4X 2 Wasp 1L We are in the middles since they are attacking us, on the same urban base map and then they are on the north side attacking us again. This is their Raven 4X - it removes the big and not working ECW suite for a more combat role. It weighs 35 tons, moves 5/8/5, has armor at max 7 tons the max and then for weapons it has 2 ML, SRM6, 2 MG and 12 heat sinks – enough to use all weapons and then run – not a bad variant at all, love to bring it in. Set-up – We win nastily 11-3!! We set up outside of thee base at the top of the box! They set up around us in the urban chaos but none near us.
Turn 1 - They thump us back in init, but closer 11-5. Both 11s!!! Then I moved my stuff where 5 possible as well as Zeta’s assault vees one at a time under them. Then they begin to flank us with the Locust, Raven, Wasps and Shadow Hawk. I base their Raven with our Jenner, Spider and Wolverine. Then we base their UrbanMech they move in front of our Atlas 3 away, based. It could be a one-kick wonder though. I don’t spend any other mechs to base it. Then their Vindicator bases it’s flank a few turns later, and our BM, Banshee and Archer base it back all move 3 or 4. Then our Grasshopper bases their left flank Locust 7 away from their QD, they take the bait and then they move their QD and base it back, and I bring over our Awesome and TDR to base it back. I also base their Raven with our leaping Catapult to the flank. Weapons fire – I spend 12 each firing at their BM and Charger. Shishi’s CRD hit the Ammo in their BM, boom, dead mech!!!!! Zeta’s Von Luckner’s AC10 hit the Charger’s head, and cracked the cockpit – dead mech!!! We also took out it’s RA too. Melee??!!??!?!! They destroy our Brutus. Our Catapult legs their Raven’s LL. Ours!!! Our Atlas legs the Urbie’s LL. We drop and split attacks on their QD and then our Archer takes out their Vindicator’s LL too. Their QD and Locust drop our Grasshopper though. Turn 2 – They keep init, but just win 3-2. Hmmm. I rise our Grasshopper after they do the QD and keep it based. Our Wolverine, Spider and Jenner base their Locust. They finish flanking us and base our flanks and rears with their lights and faster mediums like Cicada and PXH and such. Our Awesome and TDR stay on their QD. We base their Wolverine with our Archer, Catapult and CRD. Then their Catapult isn’t base able, sorry. I do move our Atlas, Banshee and BM to base their TDR though. Weapons fire 12 each at their Cyclops and Catapult. Shishi’s CRD hit the ammo on their Cyclops’ LRM ammo dead mech! We also destroyed both arms and torsos too. Despite the ton of AC20s and such in the vees, we do take out the LL of their Catapult with our Schrek and the RL by our Manticore. We also take out both arms. We savaged but it survives! Then our Awesome’s RA is destroyed by them and it falls. Hand to hand! Our TDR drops and legs their QD. We drop their TDR but split attacks on legs, it’s not legged. They drop and leg our Grasshopper’s LL. Our Jenner legs their Locust’s RL. Our mechs on the Wolverine drop it, but not legged. We thumped them all good. They eject and flee!!! Beginning of Contract #100:
Jan 10, 3031 – Arriving for their Extract Raid for the Duchy of Andurien in their war against the CC with the MAC at the Nadir JumpPoint is Téis company at the system of Kasdach!!! We have one-tird of our fleet here too. Here they have 1 Avenger, Leopard at an Invader we smash and then hammer. All destroyed. We destroyed all 6 fighters! Can we salvage one or the other? We toss a 4 and 9 – so yes to their Avenger!!! It costs us 8 mill – paid. War Chest is 59,127,732. Their Invader flees when we chase it. Battle Loss at JumpPoint – We took 4 mill damage, lost 4 fighters and can salvage 2 for 1.1 mill and lost 2 for a total of 10,093,864. We can salvage 3 of theirs for 1.7 mill,. We find here at the JumpPoint stuff worth 9 mill!!! Jan 15, 3031 – We arrive at the Planet of Kasdach where there are two Avengers, an Intruder, 3 Leopard CVs for a total of 22 fighters. Set-Up – We win 7-4 I set up at the southern part of the northern flank attacking them. They set up in a giant arc away from us! I can see some maybe one company of their stuff.
Turn 1 – We lose init badly 9-2. We move first and 5 hexes too all up and down the map. We charge! Then they begin flanking each side with their three Jenners, and Stinger and Wasps too. We base thier left flank Wasp with our Jav, Jenner and Wolfhound. Then they base our Wolfhound’s flank with thier Hermes II 4K – if I can bring it in, that might be nice, so I base it with 2 Wolverines and then our Hermes II too. They base our Wolfhound with their Cicada too. Weapons fire!!!!! I fire 18 each at their Atlas and BM. Our Awesome in Tekau mā Waru hit their BM’s ammo – boom, dead mech!!! We also took out the RT and RA too. Our Charger in Labíng-Pitó opens up the CT on their Atlas and that company’s Archer hit the gyro and engine enough to shut it down and then we also took out it’s LA too. Melee!!! Our Wolfhound drops and legs their Wasp’s LL. They drop it, and we drop but don’t leg their Hermes. Turn 2 – We lose init again closer but high 11-9. We rise our Wolfhound and run with it. Then they sac play a Panther in front of Tekau mā Waru’s three assaults just three or four, I base it with the BM, Charger and Banshee. Then we base their Hermes II they rise with ours again and then also two Wolverines. Our Javelin, Phoenix Hawk, Vulcan and Jenner base their right flank’s Jenner. Their QD bases our PXH’s flank with a leap and I base it with 2 Grasshoppers and a Catapult in Tekau mā Waru. Our Banshee, Crockett, and Charger in Labíng-Pitó base their Warhammer. Their Grand Dragon bases that Charger’s flank in front of its Awesome by 2. I base it with the Awesome, Crusader and Catapult it in and leap in our 3rd Grasshopper. Weapons fire!!! I fire12 mechs each at the Stalker, Longbow and Awesome – we didn’t fire at their Victor. Our Charger in Tekau mā Waru AC20 hit the ammo in their Stalker – boom!! Dead mech. Only its legs and H survived. Our Archer in Labíng-Pitó hit their Longbow’s ammo – boom, dead mech too. We also destroyed its RL. Then our BM in Kumi na Tano’s ML hit the H on their Awesome, goes internal and destroys its cockpit dead pilot, but the head survived. We also destroyed its RA. Ours!!! They destroy our Wolfhound’s LL that was damaged. It’s down. Melee! We drop and leg their Hermes with ours its LL. Our Phoenix Hawk the RL of their Jenner. We drop their QD and Grand Dragon and Warhammer but not legged. Turn 3 – They keep init 8-7. We eject our Wolfhound. Their Warhammer rises, I stick with the Banshee, Crockett and BM next to it. Their QD rises on the 2nd try and then turns, we stay based with the 2 Grasshoppers and then Catapult too. Then their Grand Dragon flees after rising behind their line and we cannot base it. Our 2 Wolverines, PXH and Hermes II base thier Cicada. Then our Banshee, BM, TDR and Charger in Kumi na Tano bases thier Victor. Then their Spider cannot be based either. Our Awesome and Stalker 3H and other Stalker base their Griffin and then our Catapult leaps over and bases it too. Weapons fire – 12 each at their Orion, TDR and the other Warhammer 6K. Our TDR in Tekau mā Waru drops the Orion after hitting and dropping the LL and then the Grasshopper there the LA too. Then the Warhamer 6K is blownup by our Banshee in Labíng-Pitó – dead mech. Mar 07 – We arrive at their home and then we drop and arrive at a DropPort by an industrial complex. We begin to get our scout on with our fighters and then none comes to prevent our smashing. I fire at their MAD if i can draw a line otherwise their RFL again. We hit the ammo in their MAD by our CRD and our Stalker destroyed the CT of thier Rifleman but no ammo hit. Melee!! This was our homeworld in the last dynasty. Our contract starts and then ends on Aug 20. Feb 25 – We arrive at and land on the planet. We check it out and give it a good looksee. We set up defending at a local base and then begin to patrol with two lances each as per standard. March 24 – Our scouting fighters find some dissident Caps on this former world. They are moving up and out. We chase them down with Téis with Lambda holding the base since we don’t wanna be attacked there if this is a decoy. Our Charger hit the Demolisher’s front with his AC20 – dead tank!!! Our Archer destroyed an LRM Carrier’s front too. Their Catapult hit our Atlas’s sensors and life support in the Head. Our Spider destroyed their LRM Carrier’s right side. Melee!!!! Nothing major on their Scorpion. Turn 2 – We keep init 12-6. I eject my head savaged Atlas. Our Stalker and Catapult base their Scimitar. Our Vulcan to the rear of their savaged Scorpion. Their Brutus moves in front of our BM! I base it with our TDR. Our Spider buy their Scorpion too. Their Charger bases our Grasshopper and Awesome Our BM, PXH and Charger base their VND. I fire 6 each at their Brutus and Schrek. Our BM destroys the Schrek’s rear. Our Charger the turret of their Brutus killed. Melee time!! Our Spider destroys their Scorpions rear! Nothing else destroyed or legged – we didn’t even drop their VND. They flee! We took out six vees!!! May 03, 3031 – An Invader arrives at the Epsilon Eridani Pirate JumpPoint pretty close into us and unfurls a Gazelle, Union and Leopard CV to hit us past our point of entry. They have a logo we don’t know, but our liaison tells us it’s a merc. They are here to raid us.
May 05 – They arrive at a DropPort near our base a few hours away and begin to roll out to hit us with fighter coverage. They hit us hard. Here are the Merc Raiders!!! Scorpion Shadow Hawk 2H Trebuchet 5S UrbanMech Valkyrie Wolfhound!!! 2 nasty assault AC20 vees and then they are randomly skilled as mercs. Love that PXH and Tbolt and Wolfhound. Vees: Devastator – veteran – CO!!! Ontos!!!! SturmFeur – veteran – XO Laser Carrier SRM Carrier Zhukov 2 Vedette Harrasser Missile Platform J. Edgar 2 Striker I adore the Zhukov and assaults too. This is thier SRM Carrier it’s a heavy that weighs 65 tons, moves just 3/5 and then has a massive TEN SRM6 racks with just armor at three tons. They are a glass cannon we’ll need to take out now. Set-up – We win well 10-5 and double them up. They set up at the top away from us in the center. They set up all away from us too. We thump them good and down the block.
Turn 1 - They win init 7-6. Close for us!!! We move 5 where possible. They begin to flank us with their scouts like the J. Edgar and Harrasser and Wolfhound. We base the latter with our Vulcan and PXh and the Harasser with Téis’s Spider. Then their Urbie does a sac play, and we base it with our Atlas moving 4 and BM 5. Thier GD bases our BM’s flank, we base it with our Awesome, Stalker and Catapult. Our TDR, CRD and Charger base thier Devastator and then our Hopper too. Weapons fire! 12 mechs at thier Cyke and 6 vees at the Ontos and 6 at the SRM Carrier – both lighter armored. Our Archer hit the ammo in their Cyclops – boom, dead mech!!! We also destroyed it’s LA and both torsos. Our Brutus in Lambda destroyed their Ontos’s front and their SRM Carrier’s front is destroyed by our Von Luckner. Their Devastator legs our Vulcan’s LL.Melee!!! Our Grasshopper destroys their Devastator’s turret!!! Our Spider destroyed their rear on the Harasser. We drop the Grand Dragon and Wolfhound -no legs. We double legged their Urbie though. Turn 2 – They keep init 8-7. I eject my Vulcan. They do the Urbie. Téis moves out and then they rise the Wolfhound I stayed based with our PXH and then our Grasshopper and Spider arrive too. Then their Grand Dragon stands and I stick near it with our three fire support - Awesome, Stalker and Catapult. Our Atlas and BM base their Shadow Hawk. We cannot base their TDR and need to take out their Victor instead. Our Charger, TDR and Archer base their Laser Carrier. Weapons fire!!! I fire my mechs at their aforementioned Victor, and then vees at their SF. Our Grasshopper beheads their Victor, and then it falls and destroys the CT - no ammo explosion. We also destroy both arms. Our Rhino destroys their SturmFeur!!! Their Victor destroyed our Hunter. Melee? Okay!!!! Our BM legs their SHD’s LL. Our Archer destroys their Laser Carrier’s left side!!! We leg their Wolfhound’s LL too and then Grand Dragon’s RL. They eject the legged stuff and then flee!!! We took out HALF of their units in two rounds. May 22, 3031 – A raid on nearby Kressly Warworks that make the Brutus vee happens and they are carrying off the stuff and vees. We are asked with hitting them and then we send out both of our things to do so. We have here our vee and Mech companies and then they have a full mixed battalion of stuff.
