I'm always spending way too much time organizing my draft board every year come draft time. I have my own very simple excel file with my need and players I find to be good value. It's setup pretty simple with position, projected round and name.

I know many of you use DraftAnalyzer to simplify things. Interested in hearing how you tackle the draft either way.

So how do you set up your draft board, and how do you simplify it when going qouickly through the seasons?

Just interested in some best practice to get the best preparation for the draft, and maybe save time in the process.

If you have a spreadsheet for the draft or to keep track of stuff in your career, I'd appreciate if you'll share it!

So.... Is it just DraftAnalyzer all the way?

I have my own tools for doing pretty much what Draft Analyzer (DA) does so well, i.e. sort and highlight players. I have some further levels of customization like showing only chemistry-happy players, or using filters like 'show me only players with Forty < 4.41 sec and Big-Play Rec > 90.'

If using DA, a good start is to use the 1 key for selecting 1st round talent players, 2 for 2nd, and so on. you can then use the m key for marking key players. this approach would likely throw away 90% of the class, depending on what you are looking for.
