Hello everyone,

This is the thread I will use to lighten my workload of hunting the game ratings for the more than 115 or so Hattrick members we have on FOFC.

The only thing you need to post here is your team ratings, as it appears on the right side of your league game report. Only the one for your team, the one for your opponent is irrelevant.

As an example, here's what my post for my team's last league match ratings would look like:

Do a simple copy/paste instead of writing it up.
I need everything from the team name to the "Left Side Attack" rating.
Do not alter it in any way (like deleting the "Player rating and Team formation" line because it doesn't look cute).

This is simply because I use this whole thing just as it is. Your team name is need to add your entry in the ratings database and the it is easier to ask excel to ignore the extra line between your team name and the actual ratings than go and delete it everytime I input a team's ratings...

Also, if you make a mistake (like you realize a few hours later that you posted the wrong week), please PM me or repost your rating. DO NOT EDIT YOUR OLD RATINGS. There's a chance that I've already entered your ratings in the database and I might miss the "edit" mention on posts.

At some point on Monday, maybe even in the afternoon, once I'll have copied all the posted ratings, I will post in this thread that I am starting to hunt ratings from Hattrick. At that point, it will be too late for you to post your team ratings. Not that big a deal, it's simply that I don't want to wait for some guys that may not log into FOFC until Wednesday for whatever reason. Posting your ratings should not not take a lot of your time (do it right after reading you game report) but it will same me a lot of time. The Monday night deadline should give ample time to a lot of people to post their ratings.

Finally, comments about your team and the score of the game are welcome and encouraged. As long as your ratings are clearly separated from your comment, I won't have any problems with it.

Geez, another win but that was not without fear. I nearly regretted to PIC. My opponent scored quite early, and halftime came at 0-1... Fortunately on minutes 68 & 70 I managed to score thus winning the game 2-1. 7 games. 7 wins. Still first place of course.

If your divison is all bot teams, and you've pic'ed everygame so far. Your TS has got to be POE right now. So why keep pic'ing??? what are you building your TS up for, when noone in your divison has a shot at beating you?

Because otherwise the Team Spirit will start to revert back to Calm. If he keeps PIC'ing and winning, his Team Spirit will stay closer to Paradise on Earth and his team will continue to play well.

Havok, what daedalus is saying is right, your team spirit has a natural tendency toward calm, either up if it's below, or down if it's above that level.

I remember reading somewhere that it's impossible to play a league game at the Paradise on Earth level, without a cup match in between two league games. That is because your team spirit would drop to delirious in something like 5 days, no matter what you do... Can confirm this is true though...

The other reason for Alf to keep in PICing (and a little why I will keep on PICing) might be for the FOFC cup. Anybody knows if your team spirit of the moment affects your frienldies? I always assume so. I know MOTS and PIC have no effect on friendlies, but I always assumed that your team played under the team spirit of the moment, and not as a "calm" team... Anybody has a clue about this?

My divison is composed of 2 bot teams (or semi bots). 2 newbies (one of them got a lucky start with a not so bad team). 1 guy that is soon going to lose his team (was competitive, but not logging for a while) and 2 real competitors.

I PICed all my CUP and League games excpets the two teams I feared and MOTS twice consecutively.

At the first game I MOTSed I was on POE (thus leading to a 5-0 win). Next win of MOTS my TS was calm (and won 2-0). Then I had a bunch of easy games in between, so I decided to PIC them all in order to get back to delirious or POE. Right ow, I am at delirious, and seeing I nearly lost, I am going to play normal this next game. Then, I might have a chance to PIC again twice before facing the 2 guys I fear.

So it's not a bot league, but I got an easy and luck schedule !

I can give advice on TS to anyone now !

For walkover, I usually don't count your weekly rating, but I could also use your rating from Wednesday. Send me your rating by PM, on Wednesday as soon as your game is over...

Over-confident, while PIC'ing and the B-Team in. It was 0-0 at the half, only 48% possession. Second half I pulled out the 2-1 win and 72% possession. I play the same team next week and I hope there is a better result. In good news, the #1 team in my series, who cheated, was finally replaced. The newbie lost his 1st game and now I'm tied for 1st (down on GD.)

Chad Cahill, who 'was a disappointment,' netted 5 goals in an 8-0 PIC thrashing of the worst team in my division. My team spirit went from Furious to Composed, and I play the same guys again next week before I host the #1 squad who I managed to Draw away last week. I think things are looking pretty good :)

Statyed undefeated (6-0-1) through first half of season. Beat up the worst team in the series 4-0 even while PIC'ing it. We plan on doing the same against them next week, so my team spirit should be looking good for the second half of the season. No matter what we'll probably be looking at a qualifying match at seasons' end.

This was a first... I was actually satisfied with a 4-Nil Loss to the Grand Puba of V.114, Nagle's Noles.. I think we're ever so slowly starting to put a decent squad together in PVB.. Even with our 1-5-1 start in V.114 and 3-9-1 Overall Record in our Inaugural Season in Hattrick.

According to HatStats, the #32 (out of 64) Division IV series had an average rating of 56.6 this week, and your 55 is pretty close to that.

A 63 and a 2-0 win. It was a road PIC match, and when one of my middies was tossed in the first half (hence the lousy midfield) I was a little worried.

I think that some of those Hat Stats ratings are skewed pretty heavily though. A few weeks ago, my division 5 series was rated in the top 30, but one team was replaced with a hideous one (21/20 NSI) and another person seems to have abandoned so we've dropped to the 80-90 range now. Having said that, the top 5 teams are all near 50 or over weekly, so while the average of the 8 teams is fairly low (41-43), it's a pretty rough battle between 5 pretty solid teams.

I only thought I'd say that because I've put up 51 & 54 in back to back weeks and I know I'd get smoked in an average D4 series just because I don't have any training in yet and can't seem to find anyone to buy without blowing my whole surplus (120K). Sorry for the rant guys, but as an Economics major who just finished a second Statistics class I had to chime in :)
