View Full Version : bruised but still playing?
If you have a player bruised, but still able to play will he heal faster if you don't play him during friendlies?

buy some doctors, they will speed up the healing.
Thanks for the reply Jets, I knew about the doctors. I was just curious about healing faster if they don't play.
Does anyone know if they heal faster when inactive?

Bee, I don't think they heal faster and I also don't think they have a greater chance of getting reinjured either.
What I heard though is that if they do get reinjured, then they have a greater chance of suffering one of the longer injuries, say 4+ weeks instead of 1-2 weeks...

bee, if you can wait for the player to come back, don't buy any doctors, it will be a waste of cash to buy 1, then fire him when he is healed. If it is your star though, hire away!
Thanks for the info FrogMan...that's what I figured but didn't know for sure.
I agree Afoci. I'm just going to wait his injury out and not hire a doctor. I'll go ahead and take the chance of playing him since it seems a minor risk to me.

for the record, I have played two "bruised but playing" players in the last two weeks. One played and didn't get anything and is now fine (no band-aid) and while the other one suffered an injury, it was originally for only two weeks and he is now at 1 weeks (suffered the injury in the week 5 league game)...
I have one doctor on staff almost all the time, since I had a few nicked players and now I train at 100%, so I expect to get players with bandaids...
