I know I've been vacant from the site for a few months. This is one of the reasons. I have finally put a version of my site up that I am pretty proud of. I know a lot of you don't know what the heck it is, but if you care to check out the site the news post from today and the about page should give you some information.

For those that don't know, I run the Sixteen Colors ANSI Art and ASCII Art Archive (http://sixteencolors.net), which is a comprehensive archive of textmode art over the past 15+ years. This is my third major version, and a huge improvement on the previous versions.

The impetus for finally getting a new version out is that there will be a brick and mortar gallery showing (http://ansigallery.com) of ANSI art in San Fransisco this weekend. If anyone wants to come by and check it out, I will by flying in for the opening.

Looks great! Reminds me of the days running a BBS on my Amiga 500 and 2000. I remember always coming across ACiD productions work in lots of readme files for the games we used to trade, nice to see it archived.

I was a cursory member of this scene when LS was into it - very cool site if you ever BBS'd.

According to google analytics, FOFC has the most hits to the site since LS did the upgrade.

w00t!

There's some awfully talented people creating ascii art :)

Thread definitely deserves a shameless bump

Some website called "geektv" did a little 5ish minute piece on the artshow. You get to see mountainman lordscarlet in the video.
