As a middie trainer, ideally, you would like to be able to rotate your wings to get half-training for them, but it's not as essential as rotating your inner mids.

Most middie trainers use a 3-5-2 primarily, if they use 4-5-1 it's usually an alternative defensive formation.

ok so I am running a 3-5-2...does it mess my training up if I move my wings into the middle for friendlies? I had a guy against me do this so he had 5 middies, this would let me train 8 guys...is this worth it?

I'm a middie trainer, and I'm training 10 guys (6 middies and 4 wingers) per week.

OK on League day I would do a 3-5-2 so I would have 3 middies getting full and two wings getting half. Then On friendly I would do a 3-5-2 with my winger spots playing into the midfield so I would have 5 guys getting full training. That would equal 8 guys a week getting full training and then two getting half right?

Im just asking all this because somewhere in the rules it says if you do wacky formations training wont help and I though having no wongers migght be wacky...

Remember that players don't get double-credit for playing in two matches. The max. you can have getting full training is 6. If you have wingers that you move inside in the midweek match, that cuts into your count of half-training guys without changing how many get full training.

No, you can only play 3 mids in any given match to receive training that week. (In a 3-5-2 / 4-5-1 scenario) If you were to play 5 mids in any match, you would not get training for that week.
