So I've been waiting my 36 year old vet to pop to solid experience for the last season to turn him into a coach, but at the end of last year he gets scythed down by an opponent and put on the shelf for 6 weeks. Well, that 6 weeks is looking more and more like it's going to be 8-10 weeks. Even with 5 physios and 8 doctors, the guy still won't heal. He's been stuck on +4 for at least 2 weeks now. Anyone have any experience on this? Is it worth it to just make him a coach now instead of waiting? He's played in 44 matches since the last exp bump (40 or so were friendlies).

It takes forever for old guys to heal, particularly from a +6. In some cases, they'll never heal.

If he has not bumped to solid experience, there is no point in making him a coach since he could only be a passable trainer.

My coach is 40 years old and has had a +1 injury now for 1 full season. I think he's going to have a permanent limp.

He just moved to +3 so hopefully the healing continues.

Lol, after 1 full season of being at +1, my coach made it to band-aid status this week. :D

I thought your coach was never going to heal.

Thats what I thought, too. Now my doctors are asking for a "performing miracles" raise. Lol.
