REAL Salt Lake's New Stadium

Just so everyone knows, if they haven't already, Salt Lake City was awarded an MLS team. They start next year, will be playing initially in Rice Eccles Stadium, however, they are in the works of getting their stadium built and such.

Has ISL actually put this through in terms of getting the land and any necessary government approval, or is it still in the hypothetical stage?

From what I understood, they have it set, and approval has happened, although a city south of where this is supposed to be located (Downtown Salt Lake) is making a last minute push to get them to build there.

The current location, where this is supposed to go in, has the Trax system (public commuter rail) that runs right to it as well as it being on a road that is accessed by I-15.

I will however, look into more details on where this will be, and where they are at.
