Hey Everyone! It took several weeks but I finally found this site and I've been reading as much as possible as I'm new at Hattrick.
It's taken a bit but I've finally figured some things out about youths, training and money....now that I've gotten myself into a hole.
There are a couple questions I have for ya'll:
1.) When does training occur for Colorado leagues? I can't determine whether it was yesterday or today/Saturday.
2.) After a game, on the Game Notes page where it has Highlights and Team Ratings, I'm confused on what the rating means.
For example what exactly do these mean:
Midfield: wretched (very low)
Left Side Attack: wretched (high)
I'm assuming it means the midfield's play during hte game was wretched but what does very low mean? On left side attack what does high mean?
3.) When playing a team that usually has a team tactic of AIM with a 3-5-2 do you counter with AOW or does that leave your middle weak? Should you instead make your individual Wingers Offensive? What about Defenders in that scenario....would you make the Wingback Offensive on his weak side or keep them Defensive?
Thank you very much in advance for any advice you can give!

Training happens for me at 930 pm on thursdays, since I'm on east coast. That would mean 730pm for people living in mountain time zone(which I'm guessing is where you live). Training in USA takes place at same time though.

If I have an Offensive Minded Coach and I plan on training Scoring, what should my formation be during friendlies and/or matches?
Thx again!

Run a 3-4-3 of some variety. A number of variations are out there. My favorites are:
The 'pure' 3-4-3:
GK
WB--CD--EF--WB
W--IM--IM--W
F--F
The IM overload:
GK
WB--CD--EIM--WB
EF--IM--IM--W
F--F
Finally, a favorite of mine as well, the overload:
GK
WB--CD-CD--EIM
W--IM--IM--EF
F--F
Legend = GK-Goalkeeper. WB-wingback. CD-Central defender. EF-Extra Forward. EIM-Extra inner midfielder. IM-Inner midfielder. W-Wing. F-Forward.

The last one should be used if your opponent has a strong central attack and weak wing attacks (or one weak wing attack if you know what side it's going to be)
Edit: Use of the first one is not reccomended. Despite the efforts to tone down the effect of midfield, it's still a very important aspect. You need at least 3 IMs out there unless you have the right players (such as two wingers with REALLY good PMing, which I doubt any new team will have :P)

Would his weak wing attack be the side on which you pull up the Defender and Midfielder?
Thx everyone!

of course, you want your strong defense to go to their strong attack.
Remember, right side defense (left on your match screen) pairs up against the opponent's left side attack and vice versa.

Dola,
D-fence is the area around d-gate.
