Training, training time is near
Time for laughter and time for cheer
We've been good, but terpkristin can't last
Hurry, training, hurry fast

Want a keeper to stop a shot,
Me, I want everyone to pop!
We can hardly stand the wait
Please, training, don't be late

Training, training time is near
Time for laughter and time for cheer
We've been good, but terpkristin can't last
Hurry, training, hurry fast

Want a keeper to stop a shot,
Me, I want Jerome to pop!
We can hardly stand the wait
Please, training, don't be late!

Good luck everyone!

One pop; and the ongoing situation with my keeper's form has gone from funny, to sad, to funny, and now pathetic. I bought a 21-year-old formidable this offseason: these are his TSIs since then.

6,580
6,310
6,120
6,000
5,910
5,850

Are terminal illnesses part of the game now...?

WOO! Three pops, and none were expected! Anders and Vasile to brilliant! George Flores, the original Raider, to inadequate.

Note on George: He originally was passable, and took a two level drop in scoring late last season. Very, very odd man.

One defender to inadequate winger, one to solid winger, and a 18yrs old winger to outstanding winger.
The only that makes me wanna cry is that Avonture my 17 yrs old YP of week 2 (solid winger/excellent passing) still hasn't popped after 3 weeks of training http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/%7Efof/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif

Form +3/-9
Starters +4/-3

Blast it! My midfield averages at 11.83, while yours averages at 12.16! If my top middie hadn't got injured for 5 weeks, I would have a supernatural too:(

I'll add that your middies have MUCH better secondaries than mine:

World Class (inad def)
World Class (nothing above poor)
World Class (inad pass, inad def)
Magnificent (nothing above poor)
Outstanding (nothing above poor)
Outstanding (inad def)

vex and SI, I feel belittled by your midfields :(

And I was happy that I'd have two world class middies when I'd switch to winger training for good...

For now, the Dragons are at:
magnificent (inad defending)
magnificent (nothing above weak)
brilliant (inad passing & defending
outstanding (solid passing)
formidable (formidable wing, inad passing)
formidable (excellent defending)

When "the switch" will happen for good, we should retain the service of the following 3 starting midfielders:
world class+2 (inad defending)
world class+3 (nothing above weak)
magnificent+6 (inad passing & defending)

with a winger at outstanding+4 playmaking and an offensive centreback with brilliant playmaking and excellent defending...

In the process we'll have sold the one with solid passing when he'll pop to brilliant playmaking...

I guess I'll have to use the playmaking of my wingers, and my offensive centreback, to make up for the "lack" of playmaking of my future world class "only" middies ;)

Pancho Parme (The Keeper of the Future (tm)) pops to brilliant keeper.
Jonathan Zuidema does not pop to supernatural. Next week, I think I sell him, although I might wait until after the league match if I think I need him to win it.

That's all of note. I'll be back in 5 or so weeks with another update on my keepers.

TSI
TSI Increase: 3,380
TSI Decrease: 960
Net TSI change: +2,420

tk's Comments: Woohoo! 2 PM pops this week, Maranon and Posey both to outstanding PM! This means that all of our starting IM's (well, official "starters" though they don't always start) are outstanding or better. Unfortunately the injury to Pinera means that we have to figure out what to do--should I replace him as a trainee or just let one of my other players get some half-PM training at the winger spot? I still haven't decided. Now if only form would come up a hair...

Huh? What? The forum is back online? ;)

Form was decent for the Screamin' Seamen this week, +5/-3 (+3/-2 for starters). Outstanding keeper Alfredo Garcia waits until he's suffering from a 3 week injury to move to excellent form. Figures. :(

Winger trainee Jason Daelemans bumps to wretched experience after playing in only three cup matches!

Two playmaking bumps to report:

1. Winger trainee Daniel MaGee bumps to solid (excellent winger...will probably never become a starter for us).
2. Starting winger Reg "Wooden" Nichols' playmaking ability finally surpasses his winger skill, bumping to outstanding (winger is formidable).

Now if we could only win a damn league match.

Well, when I play on changing over, I think I figured it would be titanic, supernatural, and extraterrestrial. Tho, across the course of the next year, I may find that wages cost too much and scale back a little, keeping a couple of lesser trainees.

yeah, wages is one of the thing that will hurt you with that kind of players. I'm only trying to rationalize here, ;) but I'd think that my WC/WC/half-WC will be a bit more manageable, let's hope it won't "cripple" my midfield too much :)
