Well, 'tis the time of season where some series positions are already nailed. This week's win for me, combined with Kirilenko's tie, clinched the number 1 spot for me, regardless of the outcome in the next 2 weeks (home with orange cats, then away vs. ChickChasers). On that note, there is a possibility I could end up in DV next season, without a qualifier.

Team Gooch finished last season in 3rd place in the series, though this year sold off all his players and bought all new ones. It seemed that he was trying to relegate.

Naw, I have just had my butt handed to me in a sling in the past 2 matches. In fact, the last match I played, I lost 7-0 where there was no way in hell he should have scored 7 against me.

I have this much to say, MF still rules all.

Cuttoff for auto into III is 30 points currently. We're sitting at 29, with the series clinched. I'm PICing the last two games of the season regardless (already clinched), and since they are 2 very tough teams, I expect a qualifier.

I'm locked into 2nd place. 4 point out of first, but he's not going to lose either match, as the teams he plays combine for about 70 NSI. I'm 11 points up on 3rd.

Last game of the season is against the second-place team in my series... assuming we both win next week, it will be the deciding match (although his game next week is a lot tougher than mine).

I really don't care if I promote to D.IV again... I got stomped last time, and I almost wouldn't mind another season to build up... but I'm not going to throw the match or anything... I'll play to win, and see what happens.

I've clinched at least 3rd now with a win over Doug's 4th place team.

I was thinking about it last night and found out that I might have a chance at auto-promotion. Right now I'm in 2nd place and have almost no chance at beating first in two weeks... BUT the team in first (Waterloo FC) threw their qualifier last season to go back to IV. I can't rule out the possibility that they could throw their match against me. Right now, if I were in first, I'd be 36th on the Promotion to III list. This all leads to an improbable, but not impossible, chance to auto-promote.

Of course, if I can stay in 6th, that means DD and his ~100 NSI will be in D.V :eek:

I have a walkover this week and so does The Cheap Bastards. We will be playing in the final week of the season for the series title. My team spirit is very low after a MOTS this past week. A PIC/Walkover will help, but i'll also be on the road. I'm hoping for a nice upset and some qualifier cash

Its safe to say that I have wrapped up my DV league. Im 3 points ahead of the second place team but even if they beat me Im +9 in goal differential. Now it all depends on who I go up against in my promotion match.

Five points ahead of second with one almost-walkover to come (the team in question has been playing a 2-5-2 for the past few weeks, with predictable results). The only question now is whether I can autopromote.

Currently in 1st, 4 points ahead of 2nd place with a better goal difference. I have not mathematically clinched, but should win the title nevertheless. Just barely over the autopromotion line. Still looking for 2 more wins to finish the season...

I'm going down to the wire in my series. I should be in first place due to goal differential going into the final matchup with the team demoted from Div IV. Thankfully the game's at my arena, but it will take a lot of luck to win I believe.
