I have over $1M CDN now because of my last sell. I'm not sure whether I should improve my team with a solid goalie if possible, excellent midfield if possible, or asolid/excellent winger? I currently have 875 Supporters, and an arena size of 17000. Should I upgrade this by a bit? Or is there something better I can do, like buy a better defender trainee (currently have 1 solid and the rest are passable), or higher a better coach? Is possible? :)

Any comments are welcome.

If I were you I'd use half of that to buy a solid coach... I think that's a better investment by far than a new arena. In my opinion. :)

I'd also suggest a coach first, but if and only if you have a player to make coach--Too much friggin money to recruit a coach externally in my book. I would say no to an arena expansion at this point in time for you--It's not the best time for you to do it. I would expand in time to play next season's first home game with an expanded arena.

I bought an excellent winger with passable PM for 250k recently... so it is entirely possible to get two. I have no clue what kind of a keeper you currently have, but I wouldn't really go for a solid unless you have a low inadequate? Personally you need to assess your own needs as to what kind of a player you can use best... since it is your team.

1/ excellent midfielders can be had cheap now (I saw some go for $200k) => I would go that way first
2/ solid goalies always cost $200k (year round), if you don't fear demoting, I'll wait till you really need it

I have 934 supporters and a 24,000 seat stadium into which I've attracted more than 20,000 only once, so I'd say wait on the stadium expansion for your Cup run.

If you can grab excellent PM'ers for 200k, I'd consider grabbing three of them.

Ok, so I'll start with an excellent playmaker. Now my question is should I go for someone around 27 years old with experience, and also passable passing? Or should I just go for anyone that has excellent playmaking?

In light of the recent HT annoucements regarding HT changes and increasing the value of secondaries, I'd try to get an excellent PM with inadequate or better passing.

Keep in mind if you get an old guy you might have to replace him sooner than you'd like, but probably will pay a lower price...

I try to look for people 25ish years old for non-trainees.

I don't seem to be finding excellent playmakers with inadequare defending going for less than 600K CDN... should I expect to pay around this much?

I recently bought an excellent playmaker with inadequate passing for 500k U$. However, I usually see similar players going for 600k U$+. I don't know how similar the inad passing is vs. the inad defeding, but 600k CDN is 300k U$, which would sound pretty good to me....
