My top IM is going to be out for a long time, so I am looking to buy a new trainee. Unfortunately, as this need came about rather suddenly, I have not had time to really look over the market and get a good idea what prices 17 yo solids are selling for these days.

How much would you expect this guy to go for?

Illiass Mertens
17 years, passable form, healthy
A pleasant guy who is balanced and upright.
Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities.

Speciality: Unpredictable

With those secondaries it is nearly impossible to judge how high (or low) a solid he his. My best guess, based on limited research, is a +3-5 weeks.

Why I like him:
His deadline is before friendlies today
The unpredictable speciality is a great match as his skills give him a good chance for a good event, and protect him from a bad event.
He doesn't appear to be a low solid
Set pieces are always nice to have
Excellent resale value
My other 17yo PM has poor stamina so I'll probably be throwing in an extra round of training anyway.

Why I don't like him
Expensive

Best guesses are appreciated.

My guess: $400k.
Just a bit off...he went for about 1 187 069 US$. Way out of my price range.

The inadequate passing was what raised the prise on that one... My solid pm yp is only up to 300k with about 2 hours to go.
