How much should I expect to pay for :

- a formidable keeper (1.2-1.5M)
- an outstanding keeper (2-2.5M)

speaking of keepers... how about for Excellent? Is it worth it to go from Passable to Excellent or should i save my pennies and go to Formidable or higher?

What I did when I had a passable was pull keepers until I got a solid, then held on to my money with that solid for a while... I that process, I got a few passable that I was able to sell off for some money...

FMthat sounds like a very good idea... especially since i'm pretty set at the other positions with passable+ in the main skills.

thanks, FM.

That's basically how my team was when I went that way, meaning that for the division I was in, I was pretty much all set at other position. I kept pulling keepers until I got a mid solid one. I had pulled a low solid one and tried my luck for a few more weeks, then got a mid solid one :)

Good luck with that master plan :D

::Consulting my list of players::

Depending on the point in the season, excellents will usually go for about 500k U$.
Formidables for about 1.3-1.5 mil U$.
Outstanding for 2.5-3 mil U$.
Brilliants for 4 mil U$.

These are relatively early-season prices, but keepers don't get too variant until people worry about qual matches...

The other thing to note is that experience is the secondary for keepers, weak experience or better can really drive up the price.

I've been tracking outstandings with weak or better experience and they routinely go for 3-3.5 M.

Thanks ! Since I won't have money for an outstanding, I'll have to settle for a formidable.

finkenst : I don't go the 'excellent' way since my current keeper is a mid-solid one with poor experience already and he gets me 3.5*. Excellent, would be, in my case, a waste of money.
