do players experience change immediately following a match, or do they change at the next update?
for instance, i am playing a friendly in france right now. if anyone bumps up in experience, will it happen as soon as the match ends, at the next health update, or some other time?

for sure, right after the match, but I think you may even see it right after the match has started...

HA, this is true, i am loosing 3-0 at half. but in my defense, i am playing a 5-3-2 with my semi clown with no skills, a bruised player, and a backup winger with no playmaking (just to get playing time for form reasons) at inner midfield.

Yes but he is one of my supporters so he doesn't not look at the opponent :) (3-1 btw)
