Ping: All Cup Participants

The cup groups should be up tomorrow evening. I am done with the seeding, but am not finished with everything yet. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go by the list in the signup thread. THis is not how the groups will look. I will post the offical groups and schedule tomorrow evening. Updates for each week should be posted by sunday.

Also, If 2 more people wish to join the cup there is still room. First 2 people to say so are in. If no one else joins, 2 groups will only have 5 people in them.

My suggestion is that if people are still in their country cup, then they should either withdraw from the FOFC Cup, or be willing to take walkover losses.

You can withdraw if you would life, or take walkover losses. If you withdraw though, I must know before this evening.

The seedings you are using are based on what, the ratings from 22.05 thus far? If so, I would like to point out that the Screamin' Seamen are about 20 slots lower than they should be...we had a walkover league match this past weekend. Our place in the ratings should be more "per usual" on Thursday.

Also, I doubt you'll have anybody withdrawing from the cup if they need to do it tonight, before the cup matches are even played.

Neither of these is a big deal to me personally, and I'm not looking for you to change your schedule or anything. I just felt that they should be pointed out.

Isn't it starting a little ealier this year than it has in previous years? I think we started in round 8 last year. Can we just delay the start of the cup a week allowing most teams to be eliminated from the national cups.

Okay, we could delay the start of the cup one week. However, we are playing 5 groups matches, plus 4 elmination rounds. thats 9 weeks. Which puts us right at week 15. This isnt a problem with me.

Dataking: the seedings are based on the composite score that FM does.

Well, I'm in no danger of playing in the championship game, so going right up until the end doesn't bug me at all :)
