Here is my youth pull.
Clifton Cummins (29122958)
17 years, passable form, healthy
A nasty fellow who is temperamental and honest.
Has disastrous experience and disastrous leadership abilities.
Speciality: Powerful
Nationality: USA
Assessed value: 164 000 US$
Wage: 1 280 US$/week
Owner: Crazydoods
Warnings: 0
Stamina: weak Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: passable Passing: solid
Winger: poor Defending: wretched
Scoring: passable Set Pieces: solid
I train PM. Would this guy be a good trainee for PM or would it be better to sell him as a forward since he has solid passing? I am just looking for suggestions either way.

Dola,
Depends on what your training plans are.
Would he get full training right away?
Would want him to start in a few seasons?
Would you plan on selling him after just a couple of PM pops?

probably cant go wrong either way. i think the powerful will get more use if he is a midfielder though. im pretty sure that it wouldn't help a striker unless played defensively, but im not 100%. i think powerful helps playmaking and defense, but hurts stanima if i remember correctly.
You only have an inadequate coach, that's gonna slow you down by two weeks too.

Ok, thanks for the advice. I think I will sell him. I do need to upgrade my stadium and get a better coach. How much would he go for on the transfer market?

how odd is that.. I pulled this player 3 weeks ago: (of course he's been trained so his value is higher now..

I trained him a level of stam and pm'ing which added value.. I was 176,000 value. So he had ALL stat the same as this guy mrkilla pulled except my guy is controversial and has higher leadership.. uhh.. freaky.

Well after looking at the transfer list. It looks like my youth pull goes for anywhere between 200k and 500k or even more.

I'd sell him to a scoring trainer, the set pieces are $$$ for long range shots.

I'll trade you someone for him!

I have never done a trade so I am not sure how that works. Also, I don't really need any upgrades to any specific position since I have a good all around team. But I am up for anything Hobbes. :)

I would train him up to solid and then sell him for a ton more money. Obviously hoping that he's close.

From what I understand, most GMs won't bother if the trade is involving players under outstanding. If I were you, I'd sell that guy on the open market, upgrade coach and/or stadium if you need it and start building your team from the ground up.
