Shouldn't this thread be titled For Those About to Rock ???

That's why I didn't name it "For those..." I wanted AE to do it, then delete this thread. But I was bored this midday, so I created it...

So what does everybodies opponent look like and what do you think your chances are?

I pulled 1 FC Mount Vernon. They won a Div IV series last year, but failed to promote because they lost their qualifier. They are currently in 1st place in their series again and from the looks of things, they have been focussing on their series, not the cup. With a POE Normal, I should be able to win the match. (I hope).

As of current seedings, he is seeded 122 and I am 135. Quite an even match. Not to mention that he is playing daedalus' Calibri this weekend in league play. Good Luck Daed!

Thanks, RH! I only noticed that he had a Cup match with you when I was scouting him to do my lineup. He's a pain to go up against. His defense has always been insane (used to be better) and since selling his previous goalkeeper, his midfield has been very strong as well and now his offense does brilliant/outstanding in the middle. Going up against the bugger with your starting goalkeeper broken and your best defender and midfielder in weak form is a bad idea but I'll try it anyway. Heh.

Good luck beating him in the Cup! :)

I take on a former Div.II squad.... Rizzo's Salesmen.

These guys are just way to good for me, plus they have a walkover on sunday so i'll feel the full force of his A-team. It won't be pretty :)

My Div.4 opponent gets solid midfields normally, last cup round however he went brilliant. Him MOTSing last week will probably cost him his Cup adventure, because now I'll be able to pull out a win with my trainee middies.

This cup run is my best so far btw, in the previous 5 seasons I didn't get any further than round 4 :) And although I'm in a tough Div.3 right now, I see chances to stay in a little longer.

The Docks will welcome the Enfield Wanderers next Wednesday, and it appears as though fortune has smiled upon the Screamin' Seamen, as this may be their best chance ever to advance to the seventh round. The Wanderers face a tough test on Sunday, while SSFC has their first ever walkover. Also, the Wanderers are fond of counter-attacking out of a 5-4-1 formation, which means a weak offense that has little chance of cracking the Screamin' Seamen defense.

We play a team second in their DIII series. They aren't incredible, but they're way better than me. We're done. :)
