Yea, yea, stars are evil, blah, blah, blah... :)

I will never pay attention to stars again if this is not a mistake. My attack rations are the same as they were last match (passable, magnificent, excellent) yet a player put up an extra 2 stars. Courtney Terrell (17427142)usually puts up 4 stars and is my second best forward. However something happened to him in my cup match and his super powers kicked in. Bam, a 6 star preformance and credit as my most valuable player. The only difference between this match and last would be him improving from solid to excellent form.

The match ID is 17407648. If you want to compare to the last match he played in, that ID is 17279617. I have never seen anything close to that big of a jump before.

So do you guys think this is a mistake in the star ratings, or are stars really that unreliable?

From your match report

It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why Courtney Terrell (http://195.149.159.156/Common/PlayerDetails.asp?playerID=17427142) found unusually much space for his snappy footwork

He is a technical player and got the (rare) weather related bonus.

That is something I checked, but what threw me off was that both of the matches I listed above were sunny.

I did not realize the weather bonus was rare. That would probably explain it.

Thanks.

Yes, you only get the bonus if it's mentioned in the text.

that is quiet the bonus. Did you have a quick or powerful forward play too? That would explain why the attack ratings didn't change but your stars for taht one guy did

Nope, the other 2 forwards that played have no specialty.

If it happened late in the game it would have had little effect on the team ratings.
