Just wondering who all is skipping the FOFC Cup to go for international friendlies instead?

I think i will be... after i got booted from the cup i just played internatinal friendlies. I don't mind paying out the 6k so i just travel all over the place. It's pretty easy to book and i could care less if i win or lose. And i can just book the first international guy that challenges me instead of mucking about with groups and brackets

Same here, I'm never tempted to lose training to try and win an otherwise meaningless game this way.

I prefer playing people I know and talk to in the chat. With the exception of last season, I still had pleanty of opportunities to schedule international friendlies.

I'll probably be skipping this season's cup for that same reason. My young guys need all the experience they can get. I'm up in the air about where I'll be going this season. I'm thinking a Hippos British Cup with visits to Ireland, Scotland, and Wales (already been to England). But, it all depends on how many weeks I have. If I get bounced from the USA Cup early, I may try to get a big swath of countries, like visiting every South American country or something.

See, I enjoy playing people I dont know. Being a defense trainer, I play 5-3-2 formations in friendlies and have no chance of ever winning. If I play someone I know, then they can rub in my loss more :)

it's not as bad as me... i train keepers and don't care who plays in my friendly matches as long as my backup keeper plays. I think my coach has played every position on my team and his best rating is only half a star :)

I'm always out in the first round, so I'll wait until then.
