Check the banner ads (yes they're back again) on HT.

I just dont see how you could be real money on this game. Far to easy to cheat. Then again im sure that many sporting events have been thrown in the past because of cheating.

I had seen the banners, but never paid attention to them, and I thought there was only the ad for the calendar. I just saw the betting service, this is just plain crazy... This is a simulated game for crying out loud!!!! oh well...

I clicked on it and you can bet on this, along with numerous other sporting events. It appears you can only bet on WC matches though... I didn't look to close though...

It's an imaginary game to me, and I'd likewise apply imaginary ethics. Were my team ever to have a line on it, I'd throw the match in a heartbeat. I've got school, books, and struggle to see the odd movie, let alone do anything generous for anyone I love. I can't believe they're playing with real money. There's just no way.

Lets all bet 1k real money on a match and have Lytic throw his U-20 game..

YES! Lytic plays 11, just all in the wrong positions. They still get experience, and we get a new very used car, or 1,000 pizzas, or catfood for 50 weeks!!

BRILLIANT!

Hey lytic! Get over here. We have a business proposition for you.

And thus the FOFC/HT Mafia was born.

When we start a thread entitled, "The Chair Is Against The Wall", we will all know the fix is on.

I prefer my old college code phrase for U20 beer night:

why im all for making a quick buck ;)

Its a 10 euro max wich is roughly $12.50 so there will be no one getting rich off of it even if there was some sort of scandal.

"Red Dawn", I know it was in that. It was also in a classic though. Maybe "The Longest Day"?

Where is Chick Gandil when you really need him?

Considering how much of a fiasco that turned into, I don't think Gandil's the guy for the job. :p

The gamblers did fine, didn't they?

Mr. Wednesday

I don't think they did, any bets on the series as a whole presumably paid out well, but I think they got burned badly on a few of the individual games.
