The 18yo is the current youth pull... he's both tied-2nd highest Defense and Winger... I am a playmaking trainer.. should i sell the youth pull? how much could be gotten? Could I replace him for a cheaper, but older version? I think I'm going to play the new YP as an offensive winger.

I switch between symmetrical 3-5-2 or asymmetric depending.

18yo passable form QUICK
Stamina: weak Keeper: disastrous

Winger: passable Defending: passable
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: wretched

25 yo, poor form

25yo inadequate form

26yo, wretched form(just returning from an injury) QUICK

he won't perform that well as an offensive winger (wretched playmaking) would be better used as normal or defensive.

not sure you could get lot of money from him, but since decent wingbacks are hard to find, maybe.

wretched playmaking will not hurt him as an offensive winger. Winger played offensive means more winger, less defense. He won't help the midfield as much as a passable playmaking winger, but if he's on the field to bring some offense, his passable winger skill isn't all bad. His wretched passing skill is something to be worried about though...

One comment about how *I* play my wingers: I never play them defensive, pretty much always offensive... The main skill that determines the wing attack is the winger skill on that side, why would you want to lower it to help another rating (wing defense) with only the third ranked helper...

Well, all this talk of winger has be rattled. :(

I replaced an inadequate winger with passable PM with a passable winger with disastrous playmaking and my attack on that side jumped from passable to solid. So I would think the 18 yr old would be a fine offensive winger. Can't figure out what the real effect was on my midfield because of:

1) form drop on my best PMs
2) played better teams.

OG, that one level boost would have to be expected and as I have stated in your other thread, you can live with offensive winger that don't have much playmaking, although disastrous is VERY low :)
