Youth pull was a 17 year old passable scoring/passable passer. Not too shabby. Not knowing the going rates these days for medium quality trainees, I throw him up at 20k.

Sits at 20-30k through the entire time, then, 5 minutes before he goes...WHAM. People stop messing around. Went from 34k to 100k, to 130k, to 150k, and sold at 157.

Yay me. :)

Just sold a 18yo solid scorer (no secondary) for $100K... I am sad.

Hmmm . . . I think that you got robbed. I just bought a 17 y/o passable/passable for 275k. I'm kidding. That is about right what they are going at now. The player that I bought also had Solid set pieces. :)

Prices are just insane right now. I remember a time when I could have picked up a 17 year old passable middy w/ at least some secondaries for *well* under 100k, and an 18 year old for pennies.

Edit: At this time of the season, of course.

Yeah, this guy that I bought for 275k would have cost me 150k two seasons ago. What's the deal with that?

I think the money to make is now in the upper levels. I'd rather buy a 20-21 formidable & train him to outstanding than overspend on a 17yo prospect.

Well, they did raise increase gate revenue. Maybe this is the inflation they wanted...
