What are these Yankee threads doing in a thread devoted to wishing the Sox good luck?

Seems like someone's a little touchy.

I was just trying to send out a good luck charm to our Bahston friends. They think they have to reciprocate, but nothing is ever as good as the original. :)

I thought your well-wishes were noble and quite touching, Marm.

You are going to point out one loss to counter 26 World Titles man? You have got to do better than that, you have got to throw out a pitcher who has played at least one full season.

Hmmm. 3-0 Minnesota with 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th...

And New York fans wonder why they are hated. Being a baseball fan (and not caring about that east coast rivalry), it's always a good day when I can get home from class and the Yankees have already lost.

Everyone who likes baseball, but is a fan of a team other than the Yankees, rejoiced in some way after seeing the Yankees look like the Tigers for an entire inning, and not have the lead the entire game.

And Twins fans rejoiced in it even more :)
