Hey everyone, what's going on in here? I usually have a lot fun reading about everybody's training, but nothing this morning... :(
Training happens at 6am eastern in Canada, so I'll be back a little later to report on my training, with some interesting stuff, as I decided to do some stamina training this week...
Anyway you can post your training results in here if you want...
See ya at break time :)

It already happened in France ! No bumps but all my players are in solid form or better !!!
And excellent defender form dog (was purchased at poor form) is now in solid form => I expect a 3.5 - 4 stars game !
I got on @ 12:30 last night and wondered the same thing.
Anyways, no pops for me, form was absolutely disastrous, but on the plus side, two of middies increased in value by at least $34,000 each w/o a form jump.

I decided to go with one of my two stamina training week of the season. I've grown weary of the two consecutive weeks of stamina training in the offseason because of the impact on form with the beginning of a new season. I also wanted to put in some stamina training because two of my future starting inner mids have some questionnable stamina (more on this in the current trainee section... Overall, given the stamina training, not a bad training at all, 13 went up in stamina, 11 of them outfielders...
form (players): +2 / -6 for -4
form (levels): +2 / -7 for -5
-- Starters: +1 / -4
-- Backups: +1 / -3
** WOOT: Because of the stamina training, we really didn't expect many to go up in form. Kindander, the excellent set pieces/passable defender moved back up to passable form, and Bohin, who was playing in friendlies because of hi bad form, moved up to solid. He is a passable defender with passable experience and he will be playing in the league match this week, replacing Hellsjö another passable defender (w/ inadequate experience) who dropped to inadequate form.
** BLEH: Other than Hellsjö, now dropped in the depth chart, the one drop in form that worries me is God. He dropped from passable to inadequate, and in the process, lost 34k of value. Let's hope this is not a sign of a future drop all the way to wretched form... One other form drop that may have some significant implication to the play of the team is Peltola, the passable winger/inadequate passer currently the sole wing starter because of Lewblom's (solid winger/passable passer) poor form. Peltola dropped from passable to inadequate form...
starter form:
4 solid
4 passable
3 inadequate
value: +86k / -73k for +13k
** Pretty even week in term of value movemement. Best gainer was Groonbörg, the 19yo inadequate playmaker w/ solid passing & inadequate defending who gained 25k only by going up one level in playmaking, from weak to inadequate. He's now valued at 176k. Not bad for an inadequate playmaker :) As reported above, God lost 34k of value, but it seems kind of normal that everytime he moves one level of form, either up or down, it means some big value change.
playmaking: no pops, we trained stamina :) 4 of my 6 trainees improved their stamina, as well as my two wingers, not bad... Per Rossten now has formidable stamina, WOOT!
My current trainees are:
player Age value playmaking stamina passing defending WKIM WKWG TOTAL TOGO
Rossten 20 105k solid formidable inadequate wretched 3 0 3 8
Rasmussen 23 80k solid excellent poor poor 9 1 9.5 4.5
Riser 18 97k solid excellent poor inadequate 4 0 4 5
Kvarning 18 92k solid passable poor weak 5 2 6 3
Sánchez 19 131k solid inadequate weak weak 6 2 7 1*
Gröönborn 19 176k inadequate inadequate solid inadequate 3 0 3 3*
Gortemaker 18 108k passable solid inadequate inadequate 6 0 6 3
WKIM is the number of weeks played at inner mid since last playmaking pop (100% training)
WKWG is the number of weeks played at winger since last playmaking pop (50% training)
TOTAL is the total number of weeks of training received
TOGO is the approximative number of weeks of training the player still needs to pop in playmaking, based on the player's age, his TOTAL of weeks trained already and the fact I have a passable coach.
bold represents a player that just popped in stamina.
* Sánchez and Gröönborn were bought at their current level so the TOGO Value is approximative.
I'm very happy with Gortemaker's stamina improvement from passable to solid. He is getting kinda close to popping to solid, and with his nice secondaries, he may pop in my starting lineup every once in a while. Groonbörn is another one I'm very happy to see gain some stamina. I paid 110k for him and he will never be the guy to boost my midfield ratings, but I would think he could be solid at playmaking by the middle of next season. His solid passing usually gives me a one level boost in central attack whenever he's in the game and playing offensive. He has pulled in 2 stars in all the 3 games he has played so far.
I'm happy with that group of 6 and will try to keep the group intact until after the Cup run next season. That way, I should be able to start pulling some better midfield ratings with two sets of inner mids in a given week. I'm hoping this will give me the chance of advancing one more round into the Cup, giving me a full week more of PICing.

I don't know if I can follow Frog's wonderful statistical analysis...I missed setting my lineup for my friendly so I switched to stamina so I could at least train everyone...back to scoring this week, with both lineups already set, only to be changed if I pull a good youth pick...I'm due for a stinker...
My best midfielder went up a point in passing, and my best defender improved his form. Excellent. *rubs hands*

3ric, are you training passing?
Not anymore, after this week it's back to playmaking - but I did before.

Yes, the left side attack has improved two levels in the last three weeks, the central attack improved one level two weeks ago, and the right side attack went up one level last week. Not sure it's entirely because of the short passing training, but it fits too nicely to be a coincidence.

IMHO, if Hattrick wanted to get passing to be trained more, they should eliminate the age thing, and set it to 2-3 weeks that trains everyone like stamina and set peices. That way, people may do it as an offseason thing.

So what exactly is the official rule on passing?
17 years old: 1-2 weeks
18 years old: 2-3 weeks
19 years old: 3-4 weeks
20 years old: 4-5 weeks
21 years old: 5-6 weeks ect....?????

I had one trainiee pop- the last defender pop to solid, he is now an 18 year old solid/solid wingback. Next week I should have 1 defender bump to excellent and the week after that one to excellent and one to formidable.

Notes
This weeks update made up for last weeks horrible one. We had 3 increases in scoring, decent overall form, and
we actually gained value. Wayne Hooks, the oldest striker on our team, hit excellent scoring tonight. I don't
know if I'm going to sell him, or keep him and work around him in training. I'm quite fond of him so I'm having
some trouble deciding his fate.

Ouch, I thought it was less. I have 1 excellent and 2 solid scorers with inad passing. I figured I could toss in 2 weeks of passing training and get 1 or 2 of them to passable passing. Two weeks later, no changes and I am determined to keep training it until at least one player pops.
Sucks to be me.

I think that Hattricks has updated all of its training time since the implementation of 6.5. My gues is it was 7 weeks before 6.5 and it's now 5 weeks with 6.5 in place... Just a gues though.

edit: I meant that Hattricks had updated its training times...

Has poor experience and inadequate leadership abilities [Unpredictable]
Stamina: solid Keeper: disastrous

Pretty good form update as well. Ward jumped two levels, and several other players are up in form while only 2 dropped.

No pops, as expected (next round is either one or two weeks out)... I got absolutely killed on form, if anybody went up it was inconsequential and I had three or four starters go down.
