Yeah, the not fully trasnlated bit is kind of annoying, but for the most part it isn't hard to figure out. I'm kind of happy I found it while it is still being developed so I can watch it grow (plus reap the rewards of being early like so many HT'ers who came before me). USA is full at the moment (all two divisions totalling seven series)...

I'm in series I.e, YoSoySean is in there with me. My friendly this week was with Mod-Vampyre. One of the other guys in my Hattrick series also plays eHockey, I'm going to have to schedule a friendly with him sometime.

I see the influence of Hattrick everywhere, although there are some things that stand out for being different.

Shot
This skill determine if the player will shoot or if he will make a pass. A factor of importance is which zone he is in at the moment, shots occur more often in the opponent’s zone.

Scoring
The puck shall into to the goal. This is the major skill for the center
and this is a skill only the center uses.

The training list:

Common all
Condition all (lower the form)
Defense defenders (forwards)
Scoring center
Offense (all except keeper)
Shoot (all except keeper)
Wing players
Face-off center
Keeper keeper

All training is ratardiating which means it faster to train from 4-5 than 5-6. The age of the player is also a factor.

I assume wing applys to wing players. Shoot=passing? Scoring=scoring? Interesting that defnse effects defeners(forwards) and that offense effects all players.

No mention of how assistant coaches effect things, except that they "speed up things".

"For a player should get any training it requires that the player have been playing the latest week and been playing at a position the training is intended for." So, unlike HT, you can play players at one position in a match, and another in a friendly, and still get training if at some point, they played in a trainable position.

A lot of people thinks it isn't a big difference between those players you get as a new coach, as they all are rated between 5 and 8 in the skills, but that's wrong.
5/20=0.25 and 8/20=0.4, that shows you that one with a five has 25% of the maximum value, and a player with an eight has 40% of the maximum value, that almost twice as much.

Vex, how good is a "solid" coach anyway? My coach has a 7 in training skill, that would be quite alright (according to the rules quote below), wouldn't it?

Your training coach skills is important to how effective the training will be. The higher skill the better training.
His skills can be between 1 and 9. His other skills only matters if he is playing in a match.
You can fire a training caoch to let a other training coach replace him at a cost of 10.000 €.

Well, there are 12 teams in the Sweden top division, they've played 9 games so far with two games a week for a total of 22 games, the final game in season 2 should be in the beginning of November. Let's see if I can find a schedule to confirm this.

Edit: yes, it was correct - the last fixture is on Monday, November 3rd. Then maybe two weeks off-season and then season three starts (hopefully).

tucker rocky found out in the ehockey forum that div.2 teams aren't playing regular season games, just friendlies. I guess you'll stay put, but who knows? The season ends November 3rd.

What I don't understand is that everybody else in my series is showing up on the schedule (Spelschema is schedule, right? :) )... Also, I'm listed as team #13 in my league, is that some sort of bug? I thought there were only 12 teams per league...

Spelschema = Game schedule, yes. I guess they are simming the div.2 games automatically. Some divisions look strange, when I looked at yours, there were 3-4 teams that didn't show in the listing - could be some bug, I don't know.

By my calculations, Div2 league matches should start on 11-19-2003, which would be a Monday. This season ends on 11-03-2003 which is a Saturday. Most likely a 2 week layoff, so this is how I figure it.

How do you change your stadium name? Every time I try to it tells me that "that username or stadium name is already taken." Even if I alter the team name before changing the stadium name, it still won't do it.

I had to go through four or five coaches to get a passable coach, and I stuck there. The effect when you fire one is pretty cool.

It's tuesday, and you have to have your lineup set a full 24 hours ahead of time. Well...I just got the effing match, so how the hell am I supposed to set a lineup? I'm locked out from that option? Just dumb so far.

I'm getting to that point too, DMB. I had no idea of the 24 hours thing, and while I have had a friendly booked with portnoise since last Friday or about, I was planning on puting in my orders tonight, only to see I'm locked out of that option. That 24 hours thing is even worse since our friendlies are played at 18:00, which will be noon tomorrow. I don't visit that site during the day, so in effect this meant a 36 hours lockin period... Not working for me...

I don't know, but I'm not sure it's very necessary to try and use the HT vocabulary in that game. From what little I have read of the rules, their coach and player skills are numbers. For players they go from 1 to 20 and for coaches, from 1 to 9 (section 14, the training coach), but I don't think it's necessary to put words next to these ratings. In HT, we did it the other way, because it'S easier to do mathematical calculations with numbers than tryig to add up two inadequate ratings to a passable and then apply a solid stamina multiplier :)

The game needs some elements added. Pentalties, Power play lineup,Power play kill lineup,1-man down, 2-man down, and just maybe the all exciting fisticuffs or brawling. Would make the game a bit interesting. The game is still in development so maybe eventually it 'll be implemented. :)

Well...considering i got beat 3-0 by a damn good sweedish team is at least promising....my 17 year old keeper looks like a stud...but then again he does have 8 form...my team won the faceoffs, but my defense just sucked...

Hence, im training defense along with my 17 year old soid excellent youth pull...im already stronger up front than back, so im playing to my team needs...though the lack of any goals scares me, i think it was in art due to being seriously outclassed...
