PING: FOFC Cup Members

Ok, it has been brought to my attention that a few people have already accepted friendlies for next week outside the FOFC Cup. A few of them would like to still participate in the FOFC Cup, however they cannot because of said friendlies. Since this format of Cup will only take 6 weeks, we could push back the beginning of the cup to the following Wednesday (September 10th) and not be too far off schedule. However, since some of you have already accepted friendlies for the round 1 games, that would mean you are playing the same opponent twice in a row; which some of you might not like. So please, only those of you who have accepted FOFC Cup friendlies already vote on this poll.

Should we move back the start date of the cup?

As I said in the other thread, I don't mind, but some teams will have to play two away international games in a row if we push teh cup back...

How about instead of playing the same team twice the games that are actually scheduled this week count and all of those teams get a "week off" the next week to let the other teams catch up?

OK, I like YoSoySean's plan better. If you've accepted a cup match, that's the real thing, if not don't worry about it, and we'll schedule the remaining games for next Wednesday. Argh, this is going to get confusing.

yeah I like better too, since I can't afford 2 trips to the USA (assuming I'll get eliminated which will probably be the case)

I still can't belive I have to pay 6K to go to Canada. It's not like I am crossing any oceans or time zones (i think). Does the extra money go into 5* hotels ?
