Afraid I can't lay claim to the video, northe internet essay that goes with it (http://www.theddt.com/sites/theddtdotcom/viewnews.cgi?category=1&id=1134889944) but I do recognize the venue I believe -- that appears to have taken place at the NWA Legends Reunion in Charlotte which I believe was discussed here a few months back (the one I was kicking myself for not planning ahead well enough to attend).
After reading the comments of (apparently) the guy in the video, I dare say he lives it a good bit more deeply than I ever did ... but I understand where he's coming from.

Terry Funk on the far right, middle aged and crazy. One of the few who always gave the fans their money's worth.

I'm sorry, but I get emotional sometimes. ;)

Cripes!
You want to know how real this is to me? I'll tell you. When I went to my high school prom? I wanted to bring Mr. Wrestling II. When I got married, I wish I married Tiger Chung Lee. THESE MEN GAVE UP THEIR BODIES FOR ME, AND I WAS MORE THAN WILLING TO GIVE MINE UP FOR THEM, IN A DIFFERENT, YET STILL PHYSICAL WAY.

Actually...the guy was interviewed on a Internet radio dealie and he was surpisingly intelligent - he just caught up in the moment. This took place I believe the week after Eddie died, etc. Kimmel's producers actually contacted him but backed off once he realized he wasn't a backwords yokel mark they could make fun of.

I heard this dude on Ron & Fez a few weeks ago. He is, if nothing, passionate about Pro Wrestling.

"All of these emotions and then a hero comes along. With the strength to carry on. Boy, the only thing you can do is cast your fears aside. Know you can survive. So, when you feel like hope is gone...look inside you and be STRONG. And you'll finally see the truth...that a hero lies in you."
"LOVE LIFT US UP WHERE WE BELONG. WHERE THE EAGLES CRY...ON A MOUNTAIN HIGH. LOVE LIFT US UP WHERE WE BELONG. Far from the world we know. UP WHERE THE CLEAR WINDS BLOW."
This guy really likes his corny love ballads
