Yeah, there's no room for debating and arguing in a political thread.

Yes. I guess it gets tiresome to me when it's the same two nitpicking each other's posts line by line.

Now say something about the atheist Bernie Sanders and his bastard child.
The child can't help it if he's got a socialist, commie-loving, atheistic, pacifist-coward, deadbeat father who passed only 7 "really consequential" bills he sponsored in 25+ years. All talk and finger pointing, not willing accept reality of the situation and work as a team to get things done.
Howzat?
S. 885 (113th): A bill to designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 35 Park Street in Danville, Vermont, as the “Thaddeus Stevens Post Office”.
S. 2782 (113th): A bill to amend title 36, United States Code, to improve the Federal charter for the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, and for other ...
S. 893 (113th): Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2013
H.R. 5245 (109th): To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 1 Marble Street in Fair Haven, Vermont, as the “Matthew Lyon Post Office Building”.
H.J.Res. 129 (104th): Granting the consent of Congress to the Vermont-New Hampshire Interstate Public Water Supply Compact.
H.R. 1353 (102nd): Entitled the “Taconic Mountains Protection Act of 1991”.
H.J.Res. 132 (102nd): To designate March 4, 1991, as “Vermont Bicentennial Day”.

S. 885, H.R. 5245, and H.J.Res. 132 look particularly important. Thanks, Bernie!

The boss move would have been for Rain and Ed to let everyone else post in this thread.

Atheist, pacifist huh. Sounds like progress for America, just what you guys need. Leave the warmongering and imaginary friends business in the past. Time to move onwards and upwards.

Are you a scientologist?
A smart fella said something on these boards the other day.
The more likely you are that you are sure of something, the more likely it is you are an idiot.
I am in line with this thinking. I think it particularly applies to religion. Maybe a superior alien race created us. Maybe it was a chemical reaction in hydrothermal vents. Maybe some wonderful God full of love, take your pick which one to follow. Maybe an all powerful God like being who is neutral or even evil.
It seems very likely whatever a person believes, is wrong. Just a tiny chance they are right. A leaning towards atheism while keeping an open mind seems intelligent.
Sadly we are brainwashed according to where we grow up and our culture. Getting past that and opening our minds is surely a positive.
