Got what looked like junk mail today. Opened it up and there was $2 in it. Anyone gone further with Nielsen stuff? Figure it might be cool to help some shows I like but if it turns into a hassle I won't bother responding to it.

Yep, several times. Just did the best we could considering work, etc they don't expect 100% commitment.

Yes, many years ago when I was maybe 10 or so. A diary for every TV in the house.

I did it for radio for like a month or something. Same thing, $2 in the envelope and a couple of diaries.

We've done it past in the last five years or so I think. I wouldn't have bothered but my wife loves surveys and such.

I enjoyed doing it once as a kid.

I had a friend who had it in their house. I would have to sign in as a guest every time I sat to watch a ballgame with them. It wasn't too much of hassle. I think their cable was pretty much paid for during the duration of the agreement. I'd say go for it if the terms are similar.

I've been a Nielsen family all my life. :)

(for the unaware, last name Nielsen - no relation)

Twice. Once was with the old logs. The most recent time they set up a monitor system on the box and just got their information from that. Got a small check every 6 months and a gift basket of goodies. Was a good experience though they did have to work in the house about an hour to set up their equipment.
