I am in the process of buying a house and was using Trulia for house searching. Just wanted to give a couple of suggestions about the site if you don't mind....

1. Love the layout, was able to dive right into searching for a house quickly.

2. Allow the visitor to search for houses with 2 or more pictures. One of my complaints with Trulia is that it would not allow me to filter results by the number of images. I would prefer to filter out homes that do not have interior images.

3. Include estimated tax information when viewing details of a property. Not sure how big a deal it is in the Jacksonville area, but in Meto Detroit, taxes can fluctuate rapidly depending on which county/city you are looking.

4. I love the summary portion of the property details page. I attached a screen shot of what I am referring to.

Thanks Man, Ill look into the tax stuff right away. Ill also have to look into the pictures thing, not sure how that, or if that field, exists on the backend.

Keep any advice coming, its all welcome. Now to make some money after working on this for free :)

Congrats on the site launch, that's usually a big day around most companies in my experience.

Gave you a "like" on your FB from my personal page. Will do a brief hype to my friends list if you're interested in encouraging a little "lookie loo" traffic just to help build "likes". Probably wouldn't amount to more than 1 or 2 people but my philosophy is "every little bit helps", especially with the viral nature of social media.

Also found one very minor proofreading fix for the webpage itself
On the Featured Blog page at Real Estate Blog - Featured Blog (http://www.roundtablerealty.com/blog/featured-blog/)
the very first line under the header appears to be placeholder text that wasn't removed (This could be a blog to STAY on the front page longer than typical.)

Minor note as we just went through looking for rental houses.

Everything is in $500 increments. However, between $5K and $10K per month, you have 21 total properties. Between $500-$1000, there are 807. Between $1000-$1500, you have 581. $1500-$2000 is 179. $2000-$5000 is 168. 0-$500 is only 44.

I love the scale on year built. I'd try something similar on the rental costs.

So maybe start the range 0-500. But then do $100 increments up until at least $2000. I know we were carving things down to that level of granularity when we were looking.

Also, I thought MLS had room info (i.e sizes and types of rooms)

I love the layout, tho- fantom is very much right. Very nice design!

thanks everyone, really appreciate it. Ill have to look into those rental increments. I dont think we can change that on our end so it'd have to wait for design time through the webhost. But ill check.

thanks again.

thanks Jon for pointing that out...Ill take all the 'traffic' i can get at this point. appreciated!

CU, hit me up when your in town for a get together.

Great looking website.

And in my very, very limited experience surfing around and trying to get info from real estate companies - most of their sites' suck ass. This is actually the best I've seen.

tomorrow we have to fight a fight we'd already won once before to make sure we got the good pictures from the local boards. It seems we got them and now theyre uploading the crappy ones again.

That's by far the best realty website I've seen. And I've looked at a lot over the last 18 months, I sold, and bought a house in that time period. Congrats.

thanks!

Feel free, anyone, to link to the site....we're obviously trying to get it to climb the area in regards to search engines and links to our site helps (well, its kind of a mystery to me) do this....I think.

I love the neighborhood summaries, although I think you could include a few more pictures to give a better flavor of the area.

Really nice site. I like the property list better than the way Realtor.com does it.

Well done. Impressive site.

I was in St Augustine recently. My wife and I loved it. I cannot believe houses are so cheap in the area.

We also went to Sanibel Island and talked about that place. But looking at house prices, St Augustine fits our budget a little better. :)

Due to my being high strung I continue to watch the calendar and compare it to our savings....

im excited and scared all at the same time.
