Pretty cool pirate type game.

Available from Direct2 Drive or Steam.

hrm this is the only hit I get when I search for that game on FOFC. Anybody ever played it?

I'm asking cause it's currently on sale for $2.50 on Steam...

smartass heh? I always trust the insight of my FOFC brethren. Maybe somebody atcually has something useful to say about the game...

Thanks anyway though, that was a nice effort.

/sarcasm off.

When I first read the title I thought this was about about Buccaneer.

well, I almost started a thread with a subject of "Ping Buccaneer: is this game about your youth?" ;)

To be fair, the first several times I read your post, I thought you were saying that you did a google search, and this thread was the only hit.

wow, well, I'm on FOFC, thought it would be implied that if I mentioned that I did a search, it was on FOFC.

Sorry I was unclear, I'll edit my post to make sure everyone understands...

Heh, no need to apologize -- it's probably just that I was tired that I read it like that, and besides, no one really cares anyway.

seeing the number of on topic posts I've received, I figured by now that yeah, nobody cares. :)

I know, I know, and I will quite probably buy it, but I'll never have enough time to do any kind of review before teh sale is over on July 4th, as I've got about 12 games on my plate right now. Damn Steam and their crazy sales!

yeah, as I just wrote, I'll probably just end up getting it anyway, just like I did with that Guild 2 game, and will most certainly get enough entertainment to get my $2.50 back... :)

okay, downloaded and tried the demo. Yeah, making quite a big deal of if I will spend a big $2.50 but I was intrigued. :)

The game is a bit arcade-like and it's mostly a sailing game where you go from mission to mission trying to earn infamy points (thus the name of the game) and gold in order to improve your ship or buy a new one. Over 50 missions and over 25 types of ships are available in the full game. Controls are VERY simple and as one review present on metacritic puts it:"This may not be a game that you will sit down and spend hours with, but in increments you should walk away with a smile on your face."

Sold for $2.50! :)
