I'm just opening up fallout 3 as we speak. I'm going to be up to see the sun come up, aren't I?

Extra hour of sleep, nothing. I have to do an extra hour of work from midnight to 6am :(

I have to be to work at 5am, and I flat out couldn't get to sleep and thus even with the extra hour of sleep I'm looking at less than 3 hours of sleep total.

Young children do not believe in an extra hour of sleep.

i used to have that too, but our schedule always worked out that we also worked the DST weekend in the spring too, so that night, we only had to work 7 hours.

I tried to explain to my 2 year old that even though the clock said 6:30am this morning, it really was 5:30am.. Her only response to that was.. "Wiggles... wiggles.. wiggles... wiggles.."

She won, and we got to watch an extra hour of the Wiggles this morning.

The Wiggles should have to pay.

Same here though. The kids wake up by the sun, not the clock.

As do dogs.

Maybe it's just coincidence, but my son slept longer than 5 hours last night (8 to be exact) for the first time ever! Woot!

It is very weird. I got up, mowed the leaves in front, water the bushes, played football with my son in back, took a long shower, spent 45 minutes catching up online and it is now only 9:45am.

Man, I was all set to get the hour of sleep and forgot to turn off my damn alarm clock.

I would get rid of Daylight Savings time. Changing your sleep patterns twice a year is a pain in the ass.

I think the concept of DST is becoming antiquated as we move to a more modern 24 hour society..
