Adult Baseball team needs pitching
<hr style="color: rgb(209, 209, 225);" size="1"><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message --> I play in an adult baseball league in New York. We have 14 teams in the league and games are played all through the week. We play about 162 games a year, although in the past we have played more, but that's not likely this year.

My team needs pitching. If you live in the New York area and will be 40 years old or older before Dec. 31, 2007 and you can pitch, please let me know.

If you have any questions, please ask. You don't need to show up at every game, we've set that precedent. And even if you do show up, we're not asking that you pitch well.

Just give us another option besides burning out the arms of the few guys that we do have.

Can you please change that to 43 or 44 years old? Al Leiter would qualify, and I don't want him seeing this ad. He's still better than 2/3 of that pitching staff.

What's Kevin Brown doing these days? Besides counting all of that money Kevin Malone gave him

What better, 26 or 6?

Dressing up that stale comeback in jb speak makes it that much more pathetic and desperate-sounding.

What better, 26 or 6?

What better, 2000 or 2004?

Didn't someone actually go so far as to take out a job want ad for the White Sox before? I'm thinking it was back in the 50's but I may be wrong.
