7.0.1 released

We are happy to announce that a patch for Football Manager 2007 is now available for download. Due to technical issues the Worldwide Soccer Manager 2007 patch will follow in the next couple of days - we apologise for this but did not want to hold up the other patches from being released due to this issue.

Just wondering, but has the Rooney ban been fixed for anybody else?

In my current United game he's still banned, even though England have played a couple of fixtures now (UEFA WC Quals) he's still got a two match ban. :(

Yeah, it's nothing really major or overly important, but extremely irksome. I want to piss and moan when Rooney a five month injury after playing in a friendly, just as I do with anybody else I can ill afford to lose but inevitably do.

Supposedly the Rooney ban won't change until end of season updates. If you start a new game it should be ok.

Speaking as somebody who has repeatedly suffered the depredations of Rooney on the pitch, I say: let him eat cake!

Hey Josh, I hear the English got dispensation to replace him with Yakubu :D

The difference between Rooney and Yakubu, Foz, is that I see Yakubu twice a year unless somehow I meet Middlesbrough in the FA or League cups.

I see Rooney all the #*$!ing time.

I hate them both. :D
