Guys with those pencil-thin "beards" that run down their jawlines. So horribly feminine, and when they aren't perfectly groomed, they look even worse.

I decided earlier today that, because I'm such a grumpy guy and I really do get annoyed by so many things, I am going to try to do a daily pet peeve thread. I'll probably get slammed (or told not to do it by SD), but that's ok. This venting is for my own sanity. :D

I saw in Vegas earlier this week that Schmidty was 6/5 on which FOFC poster would create a "Pet Peeve of the Day" thread ;)

I wish I had a pencil thin mustache
The Boston Blackie kind
A two toned Ricky Ricardo jacket
And an autographed picture of Andy Devine

Listen I understand people not liking werewolf and all that. The threads do get large and are often at the top of the screen pushing topics nonplayers would like to see farther down. But this I don't understand. Almost all the games these days use but one thread for both the sign-up and the actual game. Are you merely objecting to the game itself?

Oddly, guys with pencil-thin beards don't bother me, but women with them do. So horribly masculine, and it doesn't really matter if they're groomed or not.

Maybe not so much right now, but at one point there seemed to be 4-5 werewolf threads on the front page at the same time.

I remember the great werewolf craze of 05'. I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time.

Sorry, forgot the smiley :D . I don't play the game, so I just skip over those threads.

Reminds me of almost every interview clip that I have seen with Ozzie Guillen... that dude's beard grows faster than anything in this universe...

For me, it's all about order. I'm an accountant. We're trained to be anal. Everything has its place, and a place for everything. 80,000 Werewolf threads make me want to take my pencil and spreadsheet, clean them up and make order out of them. It makes my palms itch. It's an uncontrollable urge to make things neat and tidy.

That and I have this cleanliness OCD....

Do accountants exaggerate as well? There's one thread per game. Using your logic, why don't we just make the whole forum one thread?

I like the thread that was begging for someone to play werewolf in another thread. Or the ping of someone because it was their turn to wolf.

LOL
Reminds me of the first time I had to program for an accountant.

I kept trying to get her to tell me what she wanted,
she kept telling me to just give her something and she would tell me how to fix it!

They're even better when it's a fat guy who's obviously using the beard to simulate a jawline.
