I just want to add one player (Reggie Bush) to the game.

FOF2004PlayerFile.xls file is the one that I was messing around with. And nothing happened.

I'm going to assume that the spreadsheet you have is one that already has players in it. To add Reggie to the game you need to:
1.Add him in a new row and fill in all the data.
2.Save the file as a .csv extension
3.Go into the FOF directory there should be a file called PlayerFile.exe or something like that.
4.Run Playerfile.exe
5.Click on the button generate player file
6.It will ask you to choose you .csv file, do so
7.That should be it, just click use alternate player file when you start a new career

If you're creating a OPU (one player universe) you need to follow the file format in PlayerFile.exe under the csv file format tab. FOF will generate the rest of the players.

I've asked this before (and I'm sure I know what the answer is).

Can you update/create/edit players with this format once you start a career... I want to add Ricky Williams to my universe.

If not... I siad this before, there needs to be some way to do this for a game of this nature. Al the great sim games have the ability to edit and create players... A game this good SHOULD have this ability as well.

Thanks.

The only way to add him would be to edit a draft file and add him that way. Once you start a career you are pretty much screwed. Unless you just want to change the name of a player to Ricky Williams.
