Hey guys. Downloaded the demo and I'm playing around with it. I'm really considering purchasing this and I really like what I see so far.

I am only interested in fictional universes. Can you tell me if there is a face pack out there that can be used with fictional players? If I have to I can just use one with MLB players since I don't know them anyway. I know there was a puresim facepack with computer generated faces that could be assigned to players, but could this happen with OOTP6? This is very important to my decision to buy.

OK I found some facepacks that look good. THanks guys. A question about use, though. The zip file I downloaded has tons of JPG files. The game itself seems to look for bmps? When I select a player and view him, I hit "enable photo" and it says p133.bmp not found (for instance). But if I hit player HTML report, sometimes the player's photo shows up there (and sometimes not). What's going on here? Am I supposed to have BMPs instead of JPGs?

I have the Puresim ones you are talking about and have converted them and actually doubled them for a total of 4000 faces.

...yes you have to convert them using something like infranview...

I just bought OOTP (right before the 6.5 announcement) and joined the DKBL.

Of course, I don't know if I can recommend this right now. I joined the DKBL right as the season switched over as the Boston Red Sox, and I'm crashing (and the commish when trying to do this for me) every time I try to make an FA offer. Spun my wheels for a week with OOTP support before being directed to Markus (still have no clue why I had to e-mail Markus directly instead of support making the connection), and am now on one week with no word from Markus. Still no confirmation that they've even duped the problem, let alone any word on a fix, workaround, or if it's fine with 6.5.

So my first 3 weeks experience with OOTP in a multiplayer league (the sole reason I bought it) has not been a good one...

RWBL (in my tagline) is one. It was founded from FOFC and is now made up of FOFCers and guys that they have recommended.

FOBL, DKBL, and USBL are some others.

I'm still looking for a league to join. I really want to be in a league with FOFC members. FOBL looks too tough to join, DKBL and RWBL are both MLB sims (I vastly prefer fictional, but would settle for real if I got to be in a league with FOFC members).

I could not find the referenced USBL league. Any help on that? Any interest in a new FOFC-only FICTIONAL OOTP league? I'm really liking OOTP so far.

Even if you had no concept of baseball, you should be able to compete in the NL East with the likes of the suspended HA and company.

Well its the teams Im concerned about really. I just have no love for any MLB team. It will be hard to manufacture any. Seems strange but true. I would probably even be ok with real players but fictional teams and a fantasy draft. Still like I said, if I got to play with FOFCers, all is good.
