Looks like I might actually buy a baseball game now.

I was really hoping EA would just make a Xbox exclusive game for MLB, but as long as the engine continues, I'm a happy camper.

I don't have any interest in college baseball either, but I've found over the last few years that I prefer playing college games over pro games. Dunno why. NCAA Football has gotten more play time from me than Madden (and NFL 2K5 combined). I can't stop playing ESPN College Hoops and I don't remember the last time I actually paid attention to college basketball.

The attraction for me would be the shorter season. Playing out 162 games is impossible for control freaks like me. I don't know how long the college baseball season is, but I can't imagine it being nearly as long as MLB's.

Georgia Tech has played 59 games so far, that's after the ACC Tournament and the first game of the NCAAs.

Bah, the real importance here is it sounds like 2K Sports is still doing a football game. That makes me happy.

I'm sold. I really enjoy the MVP engine.

I'll almost certainly buy the College Baseball game as I love MVP's engine and I'm a college baseball fan. None of the other games in that article interest me. I would have much rathered see an all fictional game with the ESPN engine and an improved dynasty mode.

This could potentially be my new favorite game if it happens. College baseball is gold in my book.

I must say I don't care 1 bit about college baseball at ALL. With that said, I'll probably buy the game b/c I find college games MUCH more fun than pro. Something about recruiting and only keeping the guys 4 years. Also, I think it will be much easier to get through a college baseball season than a pro one, much less games. Great move here.
