So sad...
Now it's not just the players on steroids to compete, but the damn FANS now have to use performance enhancing drugs just to catch a fucking foul or home-run ball.
What is the USA coming to? ;)

You must have studied at the Eric Karros School of Baseball.
Besides, I'm of the firm belief that repetition breeds results. The more you do something, the more easily you can do it in the future. If the Dodgers maintain the good habits they've shown on offense so far this year - taking walks, working the count for a favorable pitch with RISP, and, y'know, just generally putting the ball in play, good things are in store.

It's a pretty simple explanation how the same guy got them both. Both were hit into the harbor, and the relative lack of competition (as compared to being in the stands) likely increases your odds substantially.

It wasn't that difficult. It appears that he went kayaking 3 years ago and never could quite get out of the thing when he finished, so he's spent most of his time in McCovey's Cove, trying to make a living by catching "famous" HR balls.
Actually, the funny part was when he grabbed #660, someone else grabbed for it as well and gave him a face-full of water in the process. They showed it in slow motion as they were going to commercial, and it cracked me up. But I'm easily amused by fat guys in kayaks.

I like the guy who got the balls. He caught 660, with no expectation of getting another, and gave it back to Bonds out of respect, no questions asked. Very classy. Then he got 661 and figured he better not look a gift horse in the mouth twice and decided to cash in on that one. The guy did the right thing with 660 and did right by himself with 661. Smart, and classy man.
