Just watching some Sportscenter coverage of Kobe not reporting yet to the Lakers (for obvious reasons).

Saw Karl Malone and Gary Payton getting interviewed, defending him, considering what he is trying to deal with.

Despite my full knowledge of their being Lakers, it was kind of one of those sudden shocks. I think today was the first time it really hit me that the Lakers have flippin' Karl Malone and Gary Payton on the team. :)

I also found it very interesting that Sportsecenter chose clips from them rather than a returning Laker like Shaq or from coach Jackson.

Weird...someone wake me up from the Twilight Zone.

Same thing happens to me when watching something about or reading up on the Wolves.

First I realize, holyfuckingshit, they finally got rid of Joe Smith and Terrell Brandon.

And Mark Madsen too, that's awesome :D . (Though surely Bill Walton won't think nearly as high of Madsen as he has of him in previous seasons :rolleyes: ).
