I heard on the radio about this. Fox Sports will be competing against the SuperBowl halftime show with chicks in lingerie playing football.

Interesting.. Speaking of the Super Bowl, who's idiotic idea was it to get rid of the Bud Bowl? I mean that was at times the best part of the whole Super Bowl Day's Experience, depending on the year and the actual Game Matchup.

I was thinking the same thing, why no Bud Bowl?
And what will the women's professional football league's (hahahaha) think when they hear of this?

Well, I'd have to say that if given a choice between "Bud bowl" or "Lingerie Bowl" it's not a tough choice........see ya "Bud".

Only a month late. But not surprisingly Fritz was on the ball. :)
But PPV, no thanks...

Not for freaking $9.99! Women with much less clothing can be found cheaper on the internet ;).

I guess I was speaking of what I'd rather see....not what I'd pay to see. If that's the case then neither.

I like to see a "Beer League"
In the Canadian Division:
Molson Canadian
Molson Export
Labatt Blue
Labatt Blue Light
American:
Budweiser
Bud Light
Miller
Coors Light
International:
Heinkanan
Corona
Whatever other beers...
It would be awesome, play it during NFL Game Commericals, with the "Beer Bowl" played during Super Bowl Sunday Game :)

Good idea SunDancer...then they could have 40's as offensive and defensive linemen and Fuzzy Navles as cheerleaders...and Zima as waterboys.

Great article on this whole "event" by Jim Caple: Page 2 Article on Lingerie Bowl (http://espn.go.com/page2/s/caple/031204.html)

Sorry, between the internet and Skinemax, I can see lovely naked or partially clothed ladies anytime I choose.
Beer bottles in a football game? That was a one time a year event. I remember wishing they'd cut to full coverage of the Bud Bowl when the Niners were laying it on the Broncos. It's the only reason I continued to watch.
Bring the Bud Bowl back Damn It!!!

Ah, I loved those lizards.
Hmm...it never occurred to me before, but there is some similarity between the lizards and Mike and Sully from Monsters, Inc......
