Excellent, i will drive down from Illinois, stay with my uncle in Rogers, and we can play.
Something tells me you are kidding. . .

I go to school at the Univiersity of Ozarks in Clarksivlle (about an hour and half from Rogers).
I know several people from Rogers and my best friend and roommate is from Bentonville.

Now that you asked, I have to tell the whole story. . :)
I have two uncles, an aunt, and my Grandmother living in Rogers. They moved to NE Ark many years ago when my grandmother retired from NW Illinois. When my Grandfather died twenty years ago, they moved to Rogers. Actually, all three uncles/aunt works at Daisy for many years.
Nice area, and I like it better than NE Ark. . . :)
Since you are in the area, do you ever go up to Kansas City to play poker?
no ive never gone anywhere to play poker except my in-laws house in Rogers :)
Yes I love NW Arkansas. Quite frankly nowhere Id rather live.

It looks like I may be moving to Bentonville pretty soon. My mother's family is from there, and I may be taking a job at Wal-Mart's corporate office.
Is anyone familiar with Roy's Office Supply in the town square? Roy was my grandfather, my uncle David runs the store now.

NW Arkansas is a nice place to live. I live in Little Rock, but I love going up to NW. Maybe I'll make the drive up tonight and take all of your money. :)

ah brady!
Is this the start of a disturbing trend.
I know a bit about Roy's Office Supply. They used to advertise with the radio station I worked at while I was in college (the radio station was just off the square in Bentonville, in fact).
BTW I graduated in 1993 (from RHS).

Then I seriously doubt you know anyone I know. Are you a fan of the local sports high school scene?
Aussony - I think Memphis blows NW Arkansas out of the water. But there is less humidty and no mosquitos. But the Arkansas fans just will not shut up. :)
ahbrady - make sure you stop in Clarskville and say hell to my school for me.

Memphis? You can't be serious! I have many friends in Memphis, but I can't imagine wanting to live there. The Arkansas fans are what makes Arkansas great. :)
I go through Clarksville often, and it seems like a pretty nice place to go to college. Not too far from LR, not too far from NW Ark, and a nice small town to go to school in. How do you like University of the Ozarks? I've heard it's a good school.

Oh I love it. It is a great school. It was rated as a top tier school and the Best Value in the South. It was a transition going from a big city like Memphis to a small town but once I adjusted I fell in love with Clarksville. Now I cant wait to go back and porbably will not leave next summer.
We have several people from Little Rock and the surrounding areas (Conway, Morillton, etc.) We also draw alot of kids from Rogers, Bentonville, Fort Smith, etc.
I was recruited to play soccer there and until then, had never heard of it. I am sure glad they recruited me.
